Dennis called down to Rowan and Yuno as they clambered down to the bottom of the terraced aquariums. "Ignite." A bolt of flame sprouted on the end of Dennis' index finger. "The two of you might want to move. Burn." The fire streaked from his fingertip and down into the bottom of the pit with Yuno and Rowan.
Yuno responds, "Don't know about the other guy but I got bored sitting around" (OOC: Player error. Thought we killed all of them. Ah well.)
If Yuno is within range of a Sea Lion, she will Ready an action to hack them if they get within 5ft of her (yes before they attack). Please note that in case of the readied action attack, Yuno will grip her battle axe with two hands.
If she can get within 5ft of a Sea Lion with just her movement and not using Dash as a Bonus action, she will instead Attack it. In this case, Yuno is holding the axe in one hand and the rapier in the other.

In light of Rowan's action, Yuno will not charge at the sealions like initially intended. She will instead keep the readied action to slice them with a battle axe should they get within 5ft of her. She will attack them as a reaction with the readied action before they can attack her. She will also try to maintain a distance of 45ft from the enemies.
Alexandria stayed behind Dennis, peeking over his shoulder to watch as the others fought the remaining sea lions. “Jeesh, those lions are eating it...”
She chuckled and moved next to the wizard...

The sea lions charge you, leaping from the water. One is hit by Dennis' firebolt as it swims towards Rowan, and the other makes for Yuno. Yuno lashes out as she tries to dodge its attack. The first attack gouges the beast's flank, but the second glances of its mane of scaly fur.
Before you can stop him, Rowan unleashes a wave of electricity into the water. Though he may be immune to his own lightning, Yuno is not. She and the sea lions fail their saves and are blasted backwards.

"Off!" Yuno says as the sealion bites her gut. She doesn't seem to be phased however as she removes one hand from her battle axe to punch the sea-lion off. You can see that the creature did some damage to Yuno but the young girl is not at all bothered by it. "My turn."
Yuno uses her now freed hand to draw her rapier; switching her grip on her battle axe to a one-handed one from a two-handed one. She then attacks the sea-lion.
Yuno jabs the sea-lion with her rapier but misses. She then twists around like a tornado to hit the sea-lion twice with her axe. A clanking sound is heard as the axe blade hits the ground. Yuno growls at the sea-lion and says, "Stand still you slimy, ugly excuse for a dog."
Yuno's collective injuries seem to be taking their toll on her. Her muscles are shaking from getting shocked by lightning.
(Also, sorry for the double post but I wanted to add something here. Since Yuno is almost at 0 HP and probably won't survive another hit, I'd like to use Action Surge to attack two more times. Dual Wielder Feat lets me sheathe or draw two weapons instead of one as a free action. I already drew my rapier once so I should have another draw/sheathe left. So I'd like to use that to sheathe my rapier and attack two-handed again. Also, I checked back to near the start of the thread and I don't think I've used my action surge yet. Let me know if I have and I just missed it.)

Unfortunately, the sorcerer didn’t have anything that could particularly aid the fighter, so she reached out and cast chill touch on the closest sea lion to Yuno (if it still stands, if not then she goes for the remaining).

OOC: Why did thunderwave damage Yuno? It is a loud sound, not electricity. If it still would damage Yuno, Rowan would have used his reaction to project his arcane ward to protect her. (On my character sheet the temporary hit points are the ward hit points. It would have absorbed up to 15 damage before she takes any remaining damage.)

OoC: You're right about thunderwave. For some reason my group always described it as a massive lightning strike, but upon reading the description I don't see any mention of lightning. I'll be sure to correct that.
OoC: Sorry for the delay. I fixed Yuno's HP, though I'm still not giving the sea lions a save because this fight has gone on long enough.
Yuno slaughters one sea lion and nearly kills the second, but Dennis beats her to it. The water at the base of the zigguraut is streaked with red from the sea lion's carnage. The corpses of scorpions and sea creatures bob eerily around you. For a moment the light seems to dim as if a shadow were passing overhead, then all returns to normal.
At one end of the base is a large metal safe, and at the other is a passage blocked by a metal gate that leads into a lavishly furnished (although thoroughly soaked) room.
Alexandria gives an exaggerated sigh in response. “Yeah, I think we all deserve a breather, but uh...” She motions to the water and the various animal corpses. “This isn’t the most comfortable place.”
