(Yeah I presumed as much. It's one of the special components with a listed value that you need to have...that I didn't notice when I chose the spell :P )
Gargan
The unexpected gift from Cloudfur momentarily sets Gargan aback. "Are you sure friend? You recovered these yourself and they look quite valuable to my untrained eye."
Regardless of his politeness Gargan still rummages through the gems to see if there is a diamond amongst them.
(OOC - the way I see it - you were the contact point for contracting our repairs - so you can be responsible for paying him :P also I kinda stole them off a dead gnome so yeah....hehe)
"Hmm~ A difficult question. You could say I was around, but most asleep so that Evrae could take the wheel for a while." Jack patted Kanus on the shoulder. "I'd promise not to make you so worried in the future, but I'm not big into lying to a friend." She smiles sheepishly up to him, and pats him a few more times. Seeing the others a ways ahead(or behind?) conversing in mostly secret, Jack just shrugs it off as she was more content to walk beside Kanus the whole way to the temple, pointing out the various little familiar shops or the like along the way as if Kanus was a tourist.

Kanus gives a bit of a side eyed glance to Jack, he didn't fully understand what she meant, but she was being direct and that was a plus. "Aye, only truth between friends 'ere, even if it aint pretty. So was that Evrae a friend of yours then?"
Jack stops mid-point, and lofts a brow at Kanus. "Not quite."She giggles. "She's... apart of me. Not as outspoken as some others, but... loud enough to where if I'm not careful, it'll be bye-bye to Jack." Despite the grim words Jack continues to smile as if talking about the weather. "At least until I'm needed again. None of the others are quite charming as me! And, well.. there that whole deal we got going with Bix here to work out." She jiggles the peace-bonded katana sheathed at her side. "Can't do that without the broker! At least, I don't think they can.. hmm... I wonder...." After a moment or two of thinking about it, Jack promptly brushes off the line of thinking.

(Guess that's up to Tanzier if there is one in the pouch? and I guess also DM's call on actually tracking spell components?)
"The constructs of Gond give me human bumps, they are not part of the natural order, balance must be maintained." he will then pull the pouch of gems out and give the whole thing to Gargan "these are for the manor costs...."
The gems in the pouch are:
Sardonyx (opaque bands of red and white) Jasper (opaque blue, black, or brown) Star rose quartz (translucent rosy stone with white star-shaped center) Quartz (transparent white, smoky gray, or yellow) Zircon (transparent pale blue-green)
As for spell components, for run of the mill stuff as long as you carry a component pouch it's fine. If it specifies a value like this one, then you need to have found it ahead of time. It is consumed if the spell says as much, which in the case it does not. The value is probably more important than the gem. This is a bit confusing because a normal diamond is worth 5000g so one worth 50 would be pretty damn small. I would say any gem worth 50g would work fine.
Kanus was intrigued, "I'm not sure I get it miss Jack, Evrae is a part of you?"" if Kanus was put off it didn't show on his face, and he definitely wasn't. He knew they lived in a wondrous world, filled with mysteries and intrigue. This was just another thing for him to learn outside the fighting ring.
Jack simply nodded at first, but put off speaking for a while. At least until the group were a good distance from any nearby passerby. "Yes. She is I, and I am her. Mostly. It gets a little funny depend on whose perspective you look at things from. Up here." She gestures to her head, then making the ball motion. "Most would think us crazy. And, while I could be wrong, it probably has more to do with the fact that I'm not exactly... human. At least, I've always wondered that, but-..."She shrugs helplessly. "If I'm not that, then what am I? I tried looking for creatures with a trick like mines once before.... Ma wasn't too thrilled when she found out." Jack snickers into a fist. "Said it was too dangerous. And, uhm… I didn't want to make her sad anymore... But I couldn't /not/ know, ya know. So, when I found Bix, and he offered to help -- even helped me realize more things about ourselves -- I... I couldn't help myself." After retreating deeper into her fur cloak Jack quietly fiddling with her fingers, and became lost in thought.

So the lot of you head up to the Sea Ward in search of the Temple of Gond, arriving around noon time. The sun is blazing high in the sky, helping to fend off the cold, keeping the roads wet as piles of snow melt on the sides. The streets are more lively than normal, as people find their way outside to enjoy an apparent respite in mid-winter.
Approaching the temple, the House of Inspired Hands looks like a cross between a temple and a workshop. The symbol of Gond, a toothed cog with four spokes, is displayed prominently. You glance up and see the silhouette of a humanoid shape perching on the rooftop. It extends an arm, releasing a tiny metal sparrow into the sky. The bird does a few loops in the air, then veers right toward you.
Initiative:
Kanus 15
Jack 16
Gargan 16
Cloudfur 11
Bird & the figure are 10, so you're all up first. It is heading directly towards you, but is fairly small. After releasing it the figure begins to retreat behind the roofline.
There's a moment in which Jack freezes in place seeing the construct divebomb the group. As her body began to tremble at some unspoken fear, she suddenly snaps out of it. "The heck--"Jack starts to go to draw her sword, only to mentally slap herself. "Right. Bonded. Okay, uh! You guys got this right?" She doesn't wait for an answer before dash towards the temple main doors, and if possible right on inside the front entrance.

Unsure about the intentions of the strange bird that veers towards them Gargan moves forward as best he can towards the entrance of the temple. As he goes he keeps his eye on the incoming potential threat, ready to move defensively if necessary.
Move: 30ft towards the temple.
Action: ready - dodge if the bird does anything that appears hostile towards the group.
(Also to clarify, you are happy that the material cost for chromatic orb is covered if I have any gem worth 50gp or more then? Did you say these gems were worth 100gp each or total?)

Yes they are 100 each, so any one of them would satisfy the requirement.
The small mechanical creature rockets towards the group and then turns sharply to divebomb Jack as she runs towards the temple. Fortunately Jack has kept her eye on it while she was running, and easily manages to jog to the side. The bird slams into the ground and a small explosion completely destroys it.
Looking up you can no longer see the figure up on the roof.
The black-haired woman nearly jumps out of her own skin from the event. Though even after it clear has been destroyed, Jack cannot help but huddled by the door, clutching at her head and muttering things along the lines of, "I won't go" and "I can't have"from her. At the slightest touch or mention of her name she stills for a moment. Yet, it still takes her time to register either.
