As D.O.R.K. challenges the Goblins, one of them says to the other “look Beedo, it’s a real life Tin-Man”and the other replies “yeah Vark and there’s a munchkin behind him”. Vark thinks for a minute, counts on his fingers and says “I wonder where Dorothy and the others are?” Vark looks at Beedo and says “shall we answer his questions?” Beedo replies “’e reckons ‘e’ll break our legs if we don’t. I say ‘im and what army?!” as both Goblins drop from the ropes, brandish their scimitars and move to attack.
"Very well then. Entering Subjugation Mode." D.O.R.K's eyes not only flare with a greater intensity, but as she walks that few steps forward remaining, the gems adorning her too began to faintly glow. "Clarification. I am a 'Designated Operative of the Red Knight'. But you may call me DORK. Good night, Mr. Beedo." She smacks 'Heart Breaker', her battle axe, hard into the side of the goblin, hoping to incapacity him. If not knocked out by the first blow, she brought it back around swiftly with a flat, "And it is Iron-Woman."
But if the first blow does knock him out, she turns to Vark and repeats, "Good Knight, Vark. See you soon."
Torunn looks at the onrushing goblins. As D.O.R.K knocks out the first one, "You have you one to ask questions but I don't want to risk losing any fingers." he says as he fires a shot at the goblin that is still standing.

The blow winds Beedo badly but he is still standing and like a flash D.O.R.K hits him over the head with the reverse swing knocking him out. "And it is Iron-Woman." She states firmly. Torunn looks at the onrushing goblins. As D.O.R.K knocks out the first one, "you have you one to ask questions but I don't want to risk losing any fingers" he says as he fires a shot at the Vark doing 9 points of piercing damage. Despite the crossbow bolt knocking him back a few steps, Vark takes several steps forward and slices at D.O.R.K.’s left leg, however her metallic skin, whilst heavily scratched by the Goblin’s scimitar, is not penetrated.
Initiative Order (Round 2) - D.O.R.K, Toruun, Vark, Beedo
"This is true. But-..."She stops, and looks down at the goblin right after it scrapped her. "One moment. Confirmed. Critical thinking is not a Goblin's strong suit." She states before aiming to knock Vrak next upside the head with the same intent of knocking the goblin out.
With the goblin thus incapacitated, D.O.R.K unlatches her rope from her side and drops it on Torunn. "If you would, Brother. Call in the others as well. I will continue the illusion of Goblins making merry for a time."She says as she makes her way over the bell rung. It takes a few tries, but she eventually gets a similar going as the one heard on the way inside.
Once both Goblins have been knocked unconscious, Torunn grabs the rope from D.O.R.K, and ties them up. As he does so he searches the goblin bodies for anything useful, tossing any weapons he finds into a pile on the other side of the room. Once done, Torunn will head outside the room to the others and tells them to come join him and D.O.R.K in the back room.
"We found these two playing on the bell ropes, must have been the cause of the ringing we heard."
Torunn turns back to the group, "Whilst I agree there could be more, I don't think they were signalling anyone. It sounded like they where just mucking around and having a competition about which idiot can get higher."
"Clarification. Whee~ Look how high I can go." D.O.R.K emulates in a child like voice, and then in a more scratchy voice says, "But I can go higher!" Then, it is back to the child-like voice, "Oh its own now!"D.O.R.K says while continue to ringing the bell. As she was only one body, her attempts to try and emulate there swinging around to go along with the emulation only resulted nearly getting tangled up in the rope.
Needless to say, she went back to her original method to keep up the tempo almost immediately. "Further Clarification. And it is not thing. I am D. Please remember, Devin, Servant of Mystara. This is your second warning. There will be no third."She responds, returning to her usual synthetic and husky voice without stopping the ringing. "You are otherwise correct in your assessment. The ones known as Vark and Beedo mentioned a Dorothy and others having wandered off. Presumably to vandalized what had been an unoccupied Nightstone. This further lends credence to my speculation of a mass kidnapping. Though to such an extent would require great magic."
She pauses to let her words be digested before adding, "Also, I am currently continuing the rouse until further answers can be gleamed from these two. Warning. It will however not be long before at least one of their fellows come to tell them to stop as this noise may be viewed as irritating before long. You must awaken and question one of them before this happened."D.O.R.K looks over to Torrun, her eyes having finally returned to normal. "Initiate Wake-Up Protocol Six-Two--no, Initiate Wake-Up Protocol Three." She then looks over the rest. "Conclusion. After, we must continue to explore the village, incapacity or eliminate their numbers, and discover a means to report our findings to a nearby settlement or Waterdeep. Agreed?"

Torunn looks back at D.O.R.K, "Protocol 3? You sure.. Well alright right then." Torunn says with a grin. He then turn to the first unconscious goblin, lifts it up with one hand on the shoulder, before giving a quick double slap to the face (forehand then backhand) following by several shakes of the torso with hands on both shoulders saying, "Wakey, wakey." this is repeated until the goblin wakes up. Once the first goblin is awake, Torunn moves on to the next one repeating the process.
Torunn has banned D.O.R.K from using this wake up protocol on friends as a slap from her metal hand hurts quite a bit, which Torunn learnt the hard way.
Once Toruun completes Wake-up Protocol 3, both Beedo and Vark splutter awake. Beedo is holding his ribs and nursing his jaw and Veedo is holding both sides of his jaw. Beedo looks at Vark and says “Beedo, me mate, that Tin-man can hit much harder than the old stories say”to which Vark replies “you’re right there, friend.”Beedo then looks around at the party and says“I knew we was in Oz cos look there’s Dorothy,” pointing with one foot at Jaylen “and there’s the Scarecrow”pointing with the other foot to Meiva. Vark looks at them both and says “but no Lion, always wanted to see a Lion!”
D.O.R.K follows Devin's directions while not stopping tolling of said bell. "... Oh... You have my sincerest apologize, Devin, Servant of Mystara. It is most fortitous. Because I like you, and would have been most saddened to have destroyed you over a future error. Brother Torunn can clarify further as none of you seem particularly comfortable speaking with goblinoids. Query: Can one or two of you take my place during this process?" She indicates with a gesture of her head to the bells.
Whether someone did or not after a few seconds, D.O.R.K strides over to the two bound goblins, picks Beedo up by the shoulders, and says, "Clarification. Those are not their names. However, as time is of the essence, introductions will have to wait. We have queries. You have possible answers. Refuse, or insist upon assaulting our persons again, and I will be forced to terminate you in the most... uncomfortable fashion possible. I will then ask your friend, Vark to cooperate, or he will suffer a far worse fate. As I also understand it, the afterlife awaiting goblinoids does not favor your particular breed. If you wish to avoid or prolong this fate, the Mother can provide succor."She pauses to let that sink in.
"But that is neither here nor there... Query One. What happened here? Query Two. Why are you here? Query Three. How many of you are here? Query Four. What is your leader? Query Five. And this is the most important one... Do you want a job?"
Query One. What happened here? Query Two. Why are you here? Query Three. How many of you are here? Query Four. What is your leader? Query Five. And this is the most important one... Do you want a job?"
The silence as D.O.R.K. stops ringing the bell, and nobody seems to want to keep it going, is blissful. Once D.O.R.K. finishes his questions, Beedo looks at Vark and says “stii că sunt cel mai deștept, așa că lasă-mă să mă descurc.” Vark raises one eyebrow questioningly but says nothing. Beedo turns to D.O.R.K. and says in a whiny voice, “if I tell you, you promise not to hit me again, right?” Without waiting for a reply, Beedo continues “dunno know wot happened ‘ere but we did see a Flying Castle over the village about 2 days back. As for why we’re ‘ere, well we wos walking past the gate and saw it was open and so we wandered in to see wot we could see. ‘Ow many you ask,” he tries to count on his fingers and realises they’re tied behind his back, so he kicks off his boots – the stench is truly mind boggling – and starts bobbing his head looking at his toes; obviously counting. And then he says “there’s lots and lots of us ‘ere!” He looks at D.O.R.K. and says “leader, we ain’t got no leader 'ere.” He then whispers to D.O.R.K. “now about that job, wot’s it pay, wot does we ‘ave to do and wot are the side benefits?”

Jaylen follows.
Meiva follows, looking curiously at the goblins.
"I wonder why they rang it. Were they signalling someone?"
And that's all I have to say about that.
Devin glances into the room and gives a scowl. He then covers his ears.
"If these two are the cause of the ringing bell then why is the thing still tolling? Can't we make it stop?"
He scowls as he looks down at the two.
"So these goblins are it eh? Probably more around then. These creatures might be the cause of the foot prints we saw earlier. "
Devin then stays out in the first room standing by the door and watching outside.
Torunn turns back to the group, "Whilst I agree there could be more, I don't think they were signalling anyone. It sounded like they where just mucking around and having a competition about which idiot can get higher."

Jaylen raises an eyebrow at the goblins, but says nothing. She continues to watch the goings on.
Devin gives D an odd look. He then points to her,
"You are D."
Then pointing up at the bell,
"And that's the 'thing' thats tolling."
Devin clearly puts emphasis on the word 'thing'.
"I'm not sure what warnings are or what for but whatever. Nice job on the goblins though. "
Meiva glances down at herself, then back at the goblins, frowning silently.
And that's all I have to say about that.

"And it's just Devin. You can drop the servant part."
He gives her a wink and a smile
Looking at the goblins before he steps out to the other room he tells them,
"Better tell her what she's wants or it wont be pretty."
