When Jaylen hears there are "lots and lots" of goblins around, she crosses to a window (there are windows, right) and looks out.
Whilst there are windows in the temple they are stained glass and up high - effectively on the first floor. At the party's height (ground level) there are no windows for Jaylen to peer out of.
"... Noted, Devin." She replied hesitantly before turning her attention back on the goblins. After momentary pause following their answer, D.O.R.K says, "As you did not allow me any time to consider your query, I feel it only right to inform you that I would not be obligated to follow through on what would be my expected end of the arrangement."D.O.R.K pauses to let that sink in before setting Beedo back down.
"But as I feel that you have been honest thus far, I will reciprocate, nevertheless, provided you have and continue to answer honestly. Now to answer your queries... *ahem*... The 'Job' is to become my squires. You will not be expected to fight per se, but provide ongoing aid as deemed fit by the situation. Starting pay is 5 silvers a day with possibility of wage increase should you perform your tasks well. As a side benefit, as you call it, I will not only protect and provide some measure of aid for you in turn, but will no longer be obligated to arrest or terminate you for vandalism, assaulting a person of a holy order, resisting detainment, and more." She raises a finger for silence if there are any protest in between before carry on.
"In addition, if you should so choose at a later date, I will assist in your proper ascension into the Red Fellowship. Whereby you may eventually obtain other benefits in service to the Red Knight. Caution. Due to the nature of this position, you may be put in potential harms way to perform your duty, and I may be required to terminate your fellows if they should prove uncooperative... But as I understand it, goblinoids are more than used to that sort of thing. Query: Do we have an agreement? Additional Queries: Would your fellows in the village be amicable to a similar deal? And, are those dog-like creatures yours? Also, are they amicable to pettings?"

Beedo turns to D.O.R.K and bows as best he can, given he is tied up, and says “we” pointing to both Vark and himself “would be honoured to become your servants, but can I ask do we get food as well.”
Would your fellows in the village be amicable to a similar deal? And, are those dog-like creatures yours? Also, are they amicable to pettings?"
Beedo looks at Vark and says“ar trebui să încercăm să păstrăm această afacere doar pentru noi!” Vark nodds, obviously agreeing with Beedo. Beedo turns back to D.O.R.K. and says“I dunno”he thinks for a minute and continues“but do you really want a pack of Goblins following you around, it could give people the wrong idea, if you know what I mean!” At D.O.R.K.’s question about the Worgs, Beedo looks at Vark with a raised eyebrow and says “să stropească Worgii, care ar fi interesant de văzut. Nu știu cine ar câștiga între șef și Wargs, dar ar fi murdar oricum!” Vark nods, and Beedo turns back to D.O.R.K. and says”Ma’am, I wouldn’t be patting the Worgs if I were you, you could end up missing an arm!” At this point, Vark who has managed to wriggle one hand free tries to raise his middle finger to D.O.R.K. and the party can see it is missing. Beedo says”’e got that, well lost it is a better way of putting it, petting a Warg pup and that’s why we call Vark Onefingerless now!"
Jaylen sighs and steps toward the goblins. "Alright,"she says impatiently. "Welcome to the team. Now, tell us what's going on. You said you saw a flying castle over the city two days ago. Is that what all the big rocks are? Did they fall from the castle? Do you know why the castle would be dropping rocks on Nightstone?"
"Welcome to the team. Now, tell us what's going on. You said you saw a flying castle over the city two days ago. Is that what all the big rocks are? Did they fall from the castle? Do you know why the castle would be dropping rocks on Nightstone?"
Beedo looks at D.O.R.K. as if waiting for permission to answer Jaylen’s question. When he gets it he replies ”you’ve got to understand we wos some distance away and it’s‚ 'ard to say ’xactly wot we saw but it did look like summink wos falling from the castle onto the village. I dunno any more than that!”
Beedo turns to D.O.R.K and bows as best he can, given he is tied up, and says “we” pointing to both Vark and himself “would be honoured to become your servants, but can I ask do we get food as well.”
"Affirmative. One moment please." D.O.R.K takes starts looking over belt pouches for her Torunn treats. Because what self-respecting and responsible sister doesn't keep a few on hand for special occasions? She pauses only once to note Torunn's sigh, and in mistaking it, she says, "Do not worry, Brother. I will be sure to obtain more Snickerdoodles(that were always a tad too sweet) when we next visit Waterdeep, or town of a similar size or culture." She says, returning to her careful once over.

D.O.R.K gives a quick nod in the affirmative, and extends a treat. Remembering belatedly the duo's predicament however, she looks back and forth between the treat in hand and the goblins a few times before commenting, "Oh... Right. One moment."Starting with Vark, as he had proven to be the most 'reserved' of the duo, she starts unbinding them both, and handing over to each in turn five silvers as promised and some snickerdoodle cookies. Beedo gets an extra one along with a, "For being such a good sport" as explanation.
That done, she goes over to the pile, and hands them back their weapons. "There will be an official ceremony later. But in the meantime, I welcome you Beedo and you Vark to the Red Fellowship."She kneels down to give each a gentle hug normally reserved only for her family in turn. Try to, at least. Whether they avoid it or not, she doesn't pursue the matter heavily. "In accordance with your advice, I will have to seek to detain and possibly exile your fellows from the village, if they should not heed my warnings, or provide a noteworthy, non-combative alternative."She pauses and taps her chin a few times. "Final Query... From me, at least. Do you know of a means to best ensure that these Worgs do not intervene?"

"Final Query... From me, at least. Do you know of a means to best ensure that these Worgs do not intervene?"
Beedo looks at D.O.R.K. and says “Ma'am, I'd just kill’em. Worgs is unpredictable at best!”To this answer, Vark just nods, once again holding up his hand with the missing finger.
Jaylen asks sternly. Realising that he has permission to answer Jaylen’s questions, Beedo does not look at D.O.R.K. before launching into a reply. “Well it goes like this, the village has been ‘ere about wot ten years, ya reckon Vark?’’Vark thinks for a minute and counts on his fingers, gets to nine, and says “’bout that.” Beebo continues “anyways Boss Hark would often send us down ‘ere to see what we could flog”here he looks a bit shamefaced and says “‘e particularly liked it, if’n we could bring back a villager for ‘im!”
Jaylen asks. Beebo replies “nah, ain’t seen no Giants, but we did keep our ‘eads down when we saw that flying castle. And if’n I did see any giants, I’d stay well clear. I mean even the smallest Giant, an ‘ill Giant well ‘e’s 16 foot tall and I’m wot three and a ‘alf foot at best.”He thinks for a bit “that makes me taller than the munchkin over there,”he says looking at Toruun. “Anyways as I was sayin’ I ain’t even gunna come ‘alfway up is calf - like! ‘E’s not even gunna see me and if’n he steps on me, all ‘e’s gunna fink is that the grounds a bit uneven – like.”
"Yes, sometimes the best way to prevent destruction is to commit some yourself. I believe we should slay these worgs. Who is willing to accompany me?"she asks the group.
After the comment about the Worgs being unpredictable, D.O.R.K had begun tracing the symbol of her forehead, and fell into deep consideration. "Agreed."She abruptly states, coming out of her mini stupor. "Thank you for your advice, Beedo. Vark. It has been noted for future review. In addition. I would hear more of this 'Boss Hark', and why you were reticent to speak of this 'Boss Hark'."Her eyes flickers red for a moment as she stares the two down. "...But that can wait. If you are armed and ready, follow, but play safe and only attack at a distance. I will take point."
D.O.R.K starts leading the way, but pauses for a moment to add one last thing. "If you do not wish to attack your fellows, Warg included, know that I am not obligating you to do so. Only that you stay close until the matter of Nightstone has been resolved."

Responding to Meiva’s suggestion to do something about the Worgs, the party (including D.O.R.K.’s two new disciples) leaves the Temple, and with the exception of Toruun who has gone off to sit with his back to one of the boulders where he pulls out a notebook and starts sketching something as if he has just had an idea, is clustered on the north west edge of the square (see map). The Worgs are continuing to worry the carcass of the dog.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Even Beedo hesitated in speaking after the last look from D.O.R.K. But only for a second. And after he was more interested in trying out the passed out snickerdoodles. While Vark had a contented smile on his face as he chewed his own, Beedo obviously chewed on it as if uncertain how to feel about the sweet taste along the way. "Are you ready?"She whispered back to the duo, startling both of the duo out of their respective reverie and absent-minded following behind the group. "Mam, weeze wa born ready fer this. Like Fer Real. Right 'o womb ya gotta have ya wits about'cha or ya wind up picked off by one of da more rowdy Worgs." Vark pulls down an invisible hat, and nods solemnly.
D.O.R.K. eyes flickers for a moment. Then, her attention pans over the others. Seeing Torunn once again distracted by something, D.O.R.K only notes his position as she turns to look over the others. "We shall terminate them one after the other."
D.O.R.K ready her Javelin as Beedo and Vark do the same with Shortbow and varying degrees of comfort. "Re-entering Subjugation Mode."Her eyes glow red as they are leveled upon the worgs. "The Farthest one first(A). On the mark of three."She sucks in an unnecessary, and the goblin pair reflexively do the same. Devin is given a meaningful. Though if that is not enough, she says, "If you would initiate the countdown." D.O.R.K asks still in a whisper as she stepped in closer for the best shot.
(Below is the readied results should they get the shot):

After giving the goblins a What? look, Jaylen decides to leave the living quarters and look around the rest of the church for any clues.
Meiva nods at Beedo.
"Yes, sometimes the best way to prevent destruction is to commit some yourself. I believe we should slay these worgs. Who is willing to accompany me?" she asks the group.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Devin quickly agrees to help Meiva.
