Jack spends his turn turning to the other side of the Gauth, in order to keep his backside faced away from whatever’s coming out. With a minor magical slap of his drum and a sheathing of the Boom-Erang, he casts Healing Word at Second Level (Healing Isk, who took 22 Fire Damage last round, for 10) as he comboes the spell into a rhythmic swing, the sound of Leroy headed at the Garth surprisingly giving off a strange tune. “Keep your backs turned away from whatever’s back there! Ye don’t want to get flanked!”
(If I recall correctly, I believe this is a legal turn. Feel free to let me know if I did something wrong, and I apologize for the wait, I didn’t notice it was my turn somehow lol.)

(Sorry about the hold up on my end.)
(I will make some changes to Jack's plans. The Gauth blew up after Trim's and Isk's attacks, which caused some explosion damage to Reverie. Since Jack is worried about the party being flanked, and Trim is by himself in the back, I will have Jack move 30' east to get next to Trim, and Ready a sword attack.)
Current party positions:
Trim was standing the furthest east. Jack has moved next to him, ready to defend.
Froskan is 10' west of them, with a Froskbite ready.
Iskander is 30' west of Trim. Reverie is also 30' west of Trim, but she carefully stays out of melee range of Isk, while she is making sure the curse-temper is under control.
The human-animal-growling from the east is getting louder. But to your surprise, a pair of Flail Snails breaks through the stones near Trimyrai, and are in melee range.
These things are ogre-sized, with the bright coloring you expect from elementals (and fey). They don't move fast, but bursting though the nearby rocks let them get that close.
The shell of these creatures is prized for its anti-magic properties. They get advantage on saves, and spell attacks against them have disadvantage.
Tough to tell what a massive snail is thinking, but they seem to be fleeing from whatever is making those growling noises.
Last round, you heard a noise (like a modern fire alarm siren). When Flail Snails are close to death, they retreat into their shells and start wailing. The fact that the wail was cut off indicates that something was powerful enough to smash through the shell of some other snail and kill it.
Froskan's spell goes off. Snail #1 CON save (w/adv): 12
Jack attacks the same one with this elf-sword. Both attacks miss (10, 13), glancing off the hard shell.
The second snail is being blocked by the first. The first snail was headed for Trimyrai, but Jack cuts it off. The first snail strikes at Jack with its 5 flail tentacles:

(EDIT: I don't know why I am getting the "dice roll" errors. The snail had a 19 on its CON save, and there were only 2 attacks against Jack that had 16 or higher on the attack roll.)

After Trim moves away, his 2 arrows pierce different "flails", damaging them beyond use. (The snail that attacks Jack has taken 33 damage total, and only 2 of its original 5 "flails" are still working.)

Jack chops twice more at the hard shell of the magic-resistant Crustacean. “How many creatures live in this cave? There’s so many of them, and more coming from the East too! Keep your guard!” Should the Flail Snail die or something, Jack would move towards Reverie in an attempt to bunch together and double their strength.

Reverie hits the other snail twice, for 11 damage, chopping off a "flail". (It now has 4.) That snail swings 4 times at Reverie, hitting her twice for 11 damage.
From the east, the angry growling noise is getting louder. The snail wail (before it died) helps guide it in your direction. (ie. get ready for next round).
Iskander and Trimyrai are up. (Then back to the top of initiative order.) Snail #2 is lightly wounded. Reverie should roll a WIS save vs. DC 15 (fail = berserker curse).

(Just wanted to ask, how much room is in this cave? I feel like I probably missed it somewhere, but I just want to check.)
(Actually, I realize I didn't mention. I was trying to do theater of the mind, since this area hasn't been mined smooth, and the passages would be twisting around...
Let's say that this East-West passage is 20' wide (in the north-south direction), but there are also smaller side-passages, stalagmites, and columns of stones all around you, if you can think of a clever use for the terrain. The flail snails came out of one of the side-passages, so you weren't able to see it until it was right on top of you.)
