Sarith disengages and flees before suffering another blow (to i21).
Tozer furiously rushes the severely injured goblin (green) and clobbers it so hard, even though the goblin got his shield in between them, the force of the blow slams the edge of the shield in the goblins face. Too injured to go on, the goblin succumbs to its injuries (dead).
(With green dead, it is now everyone but Sarith, Stool and Tozer's turn to act in round 4. Table and map incoming.)

The invisible Beegred moves up to goblin (blue) and skewers it, ending the threat.
1000xp divided by 8 combatants (Stool not included): 125xp each.
Each goblin wears a chain shirt, carries a shield, 3 javelins in bundles and wields scimitars. All of the weapons and armor look to be well made, relatively clean and of a different make than your Drow equipment. All of the goblins have broken manacles around their necks, wrists and ankles. They do not carry packs or have provisions.
Beegred will grab a shield (but not wield it) and 2 scimitars. If the party runs into more traders, hopefully one of the scimitars can be used for bartering. He will drop a short sword (the defaced one he got from the Drow commander).

Xilyrah looks especially shaken after this last encounter. Pulling out one of her daggers she goes from dead goblin to dead goblin, carving the sign of The Traveler into each of their foreheads. She picks through the chain mail shirts and shields searching for the least damaged ones. Her hatred for the goblins is no match for her desire for valuable things. Slipping a chain shirt on and slinging a shield across her back she assesses the scene one last time, spits on the ground, and walks away. (cue dramatic exit music)

‘The hardest thing in this world is to live in it.’ - Buffy Summers
The 14th day of travel finds the party traversing narrow tunnels, forced to line up single file. The tunnels are lit by phosphorescent fungi, much to Valthana's relief. After long grueling hours of travel, the party settles down in one of these narrow tunnels for a long rest.
As the party eats their oversupply of food and drink their water, some of it conjured by Narstin, members of the party converse among themselves.
Derendil is starting to sound like a broken record, always saying the same things, word for word. He's a Gold Elf Prince from the kingdom of Nelrindenvane in the High Forest. A wizard by the name of Terrestor usurped his crown and cursed him into quaggoth form. He needs to return to his kingdom as soon as possible before he loses himself to the beast.
Eldeth speaks with disdain about the underdark races usually aligned with evil: Duergar, Drow, Derro. She also speaks about Gauntlgrym with wonder and pride, mixed with worry and urgency.
Sarith interacts less and less with the party and often appears to not know who most of the party are. Yet every day when asked to lead the way to Neverlight Grove, he seems to recall his purpose and willfully leads everyone.
Jimjar is almost as annoying as Derendil, always offering to make wagers about everything. "Wager Burfeth finds the most food today. Wager this is the wrong way and we have to backtrack. Wager our sleep will be interrupted again. Wager...."
Under Valthana's care, Stool appears to become more comfortable with the party. He engages with just about everyone, except for Sarith. It is evident by his questions and maturity that he is still a child.
While sleeping or trancing, the nightmares continue, night after night. Horror, all the time. Their persistence is alarming.
During Tozer and Derendil's shift, a creature predisposed to laughing can clearly be heard approaching the party. Tozer and Derendil fail to escape this creature's notice, and even before visual contact is made, the creature calls out, speaking elvish in between fits of laughter, "... Who are you? .... What are you!? ...Will I die this day, so much meat to feed hunger?... Or will I die this day for the sake of violence?... No matter, I keep coming!... It's all just a big joke anyway."
Tozer is startled to hear Elvish accompanied by laughter and immediately assumes it's their former derro companion. He grumbles in annoyance as he wakes the others and has everyone take a face full of spores.
As Tozer wakes everyone and asks Stool for his spores, the creature continues to laugh as it approaches. The laugh is almost infectious, the kind of mirth that one tries to suppress but can't, coming out in giggles. Given the gravity of the situation, it seems almost insane.
The creature rounds the corner about twenty feet away, and the illumination of the moss clearly outlines the sorriest looking drow you've ever seen. What is left of his clothes barely resemble clothing. His hair is one big mass of knots and grime. He appears to be completely unarmed, unarmored. He is gaunt and wiry. When he in turn sees the party he now faces, he bends over double unable to withhold his laughter as he slaps his thigh over and over. He laughs so hard he's barely able to breathe.
If laughing-boy asks, "why... so... serious?", Beegred will punch him in the face.

Narstin stands and rubs the sleep from his eyes, then frowns at the laughing figure. "I think he may have gone insane..." he thinks over the telepathic link.
The drow finally straightens out from his laughing, and in between fits of giggles, tries to speak (Undercommon), ".... You're them!.... Mistress Ilvara of house Mizzrym.... looking for you... I find you.... all alone." He once again goes into fits of laughter, bends down to slap his legs again. Before he straightens out once more, he reaches down and picks up a stone larger than his fist, pointing it at the party and begins to back up around the bend to cut line of sight.
Narstin frowns at the drow as it begins to speak, not able to understand undercommon, but recognizes the name Ilvara with a start. Seeing the creature pick up the stone and start to back away, Narstin casts Hold Person (DC 13 wisdom save) to try to keep him from escaping until they can figure out what's going on.
When Narstin casts his spell, the incessant laughter stops, as if choked off. The drow is standing in place, arm held out in front with a large rock in hand, still and quiet.
Beegred knocks the rock out of the drow's hand, and uses some rope to bind the arms and legs. (Don't want him running off until the group decides what to do.)

(Both attack rolls had "1"s, which a halfling can reroll. regular: 17, bonus: 6 Unfortunately, I think the 16 for the bonus action still misses.)
