The creature is standing on it's own, but otherwise doesn't seem to acknowledge any of it's surroundings.

Rodolfo says, "Hold on, I actually may have something that would make things hopefully a little less... unexpected."

He pulls out his wand of viscid globs and tries to shoot it at the creature: 9 to hit.

Rodolfo fires a glob at the dazed creature and it doesn't hit the creature center of mass, instead hitting the tunnel wall nearby and the 'glob' just grazes it.  Provoked, the creature rips itself away from the glob, tearing out some of the fungus covering its body where it stuck to the glob.  It moves immediately, but with a lumbering gait to close the distance with Rodolfo.  It makes a ponderous attack with a short sword of drow make, embedded in a crust of fungus where the hand would grip the hilt...

Creature attacks Rodolfo: Attack: 7 Damage: 4

... but the attack is clumsy, untrained and ineffective.

Skameros defends Rudolfo by swinging his greataxe at the creature twice

Both of Skameros's attacks carve into the mass of fungus growing on this creature, but the blade is deflected by chain armor buried underneath the growth and damage to the fungus doesn't seem to cause any harm to the creature.  (Flavor text to say Skameros missed twice).

@Grithik's turn.

Grithik is unable to maneuver around the narrow tunnel to get a clear shot at the creature standing in front of Skameros, therefore he turns to watch they way the party came, expecting more creatures to attack from their rear.

Orubis draws a set of pebbles into his hand, and whispers under his breath to make them magic stone before whipping one at the figure with his sling 

Attack: 18 Damage: 8 

Beegred uses his extra movement (1st round only) and Halfling Nimbleness to move around Skameros and the creature.
Now behind the creature, he attacks 3 times with the magic short sword (last one is the Dread Ambusher attack). If any attack hits, he will mark it as a Favored Foe.

• On the first hit this turn, Favored Foe does an extra 2 damage.

The fungus covered creature is too slow and unaware to effectively defend itself from the coordinated onslaught of the party.  As the magic stone hits it square in the head, Beegred circles around and attacks the area where Skameros carved off the fungus to get past the armor hidden underneath.  The creature convulses and topples to the ground.  Where natural living creatures release a last breath, this creature a burst of spores that immediately spread around in a 10 foot radius sphere around the corpse.

Everyone instinctively holds their breath and closes their eyes, fleeing the affected area and quickly wiping away any spores that cling to skin or equipment.  After a few minutes, the cloud of spores settle down onto the tunnel floor, leaving a slightly discolored area around the corpse.

Rodolfo says, "Well, that wasn't pleasant."

He carefully approaches the part that suck out of the wall and examines it visually.

While Rodolfo examines the wall, Beegred loots the body investigates the creature for any documents or usable items (while being careful about spore exposure).

 As Rodolfo approaches the area where the creature was found standing, it grows steadily colder.

The creature has all the clothing and equipment of a Drow fighter, although most of it is enveloped in a growth of fungus that seems to have erupted from where the drow's head spit open.  None of the equipment seems to be magical and most of it is showing signs of corrosion from lack of care.

(If Beegred wishes to extract a short sword, a chain shirt or a hand crossbow + bolts, he will have to risk exposure to spores as he cuts away the fungal growth)

"Fire......." Skameros offers as a solution to Beegred

Beegred: "Do any of you want the equipment on this stiff? If it is normal stuff, I don't think it is worth risking our health to get it.

"Rodolfo, maybe step back and get Grithik to bake this body and the wall with Sacred Flame. I don't want you turning into a fungus monster like this thing."

Rodolfo steps back. "Yeah, this is definitely not natural, it gets colder fast once you get closer."

Rodolfo then steps back a bit and shoots 3 magic missiles at it (if it's a creature) for a total of 6 force damage.

The three magic missiles strike the growth on the tunnel wall, forming three little craters.  There is no reaction at all from the attack.
