Therien backs up, across four glowing darts across the corridor that slam into the front of the mummy, staggering it for a moment. Zane's mockery causes the mummy to flinch, but the creature barely notices Hox's dagger as it sinks into its bandaged arm. Gruun takes advantage of his long reach, lunging with his greataxe, but just misses short of the mummy.
The mummy closes the distance to Gruun, locking its eyes on him in a hateful glare, but the fierce barbarian feels no fear, even when the mummy's fist punches him hard in the chest, dealing 8 bludgeoning damage and 17 necrotic damage. There is a lingering pain from the blow, as if it has left a mark that is drawing strength away.

Tracking:Therien is frightened by the mummy. Gruun is engaged in melee combat with the mummy. Hox is 20 feet from the mummy. Zane is 40 feet from the mummy. Therien is 60 feet from the mummy.

OOC: Vicious Mockery causes the next attack roll to be made at disadvantage, I don't think that was taken into account.
Zane continues to back up towards Therien and shoots off another insult, "You silly son of a scullery maid, you deserve to be dead, not undead!" (3 damage)
Gruun grunts at the surprising strength of the creature. He plants his feet and again swings his Greataxe trying to take an arm off the frail creature.

Therien fires a ray of frost into the center mass of the mummy, leaving a small amount of frost spreading toward the creature's limbs. Gruun aims well, planting his greataxe into the mummy's arm, but leaves only a small gash as its tough skin resists the bite of the axe. Hox uses the opportunity to dart between Gruun and the mummy, plunging his dagger into the creature's kneecap. Though the dagger doesn't sink all the way to the hilt, he can feel the leg buckling beneath the mummy's weight.
The mummy moves its gaze to the kobold, who is more concerned with pulling his dagger free than feeling any fear, which he manages to do just as the mummy's fist pummels him in the side of the head, dealing 8 bludgeoning damage and 13 necrotic damage.

Therien unleashes a massive dagger of ice that tears through the mummy's face, leaving a hole that quickly seals over with frost. Gruun's axe lands true, ripping through the mummy's skin and severing its arm as it falls to the ground and finally lays still.
Behind the corpse, the teleportation circle glows a soft purple.
OOC: Each character has received 175 XP for defeating the mummy.
Unlike the cave-ins that you have seen along the way, it seems that this corridor has a natural end right after the teleportation circle. The floor around the teleportation circle itself looks cleaner than the rest of the dusty corridor.
Zane spends ten minutes preparing his ritual, casting Identify. Reaching down to touch the circle, he immediately disappears.
For Zane:
You find yourself standing on a teleportation circle etched into the stone in an alley in the crowded streets of a large city.
Therien approaches the circle, wholly uncertain if the tabaxi's disappearance is a sign of something good or something sinister. Looking at Gruun and Hox, the elf asks, "Have we found our exit from this horrible place? Or merely an entrance to more trouble?"
Therien pauses for a moment, considering his options, and uncertain if Hox will be willing to part ways with his "hoard." "I say we use the circle. And you?"
Zane shouts "That's terrifying and ugly!" (casting Vicious Mockery for 4 damage, wis save 14)
Hox takes his daggers out and scurries forward, throwing one of his daggers to the mummy as he makes a shortstop.

Gruun steps ahead of Therein and runs down the mummy, using his long arms and momentum to swing his Greataxe.
