Boros Legion:
(I did forget that Sammi's foe had a spell on him, so will roll for that. 6)
The colonol's foe starts to flash and crackle. He gives a pain filled shout as he falls to the ground, his wound now smoking and his body still. The squad continues their attack. The sergeant bellows as his sword swells with light, charging into the firebreathers. The corporal follows a bit back, engaging with the acrobats with a fire bolt. Churm moves up besides you as he looses another arrow at the other acrobat. Kieryl moves up as well but is still behind most of the squad. He raises a hand towards you and you feel the embrace of shield of faith surround you, he releases another fire bolt at a juggler.
Attack: 15 Damage: 14
Attack: 10 Damage: 4
Attack: 24 Damage: 8
Attack: 10 Damage: 3
The sergeant hits his mark this time and his blade singes the man's skin with golden flames(16). Although dead, the man's corpse is engulfed in holy fire. The corporal hits the acrobat, who's still far from a blade's reach but far enough for his barbed hook on stick.
The troupe are actually quiet for a moment, they look to their fallen members. Then they give laugh as they start to run away. The acrobats jump up further onto the top of buildings and run off. While those on ground start to book it for the alleyways, leaving only a few vunerable.
(Hormir can do a AoO.)
The sergeant strikes at the fleeing flamebreather and Churm takes a shot at a juggler.
Sullivan puts a hand onto your shoulder, "Take it easy, now, what do you remember? Can you tell me anything specific or something that stood out?" As he asks you, you can hear the familiar rumble of hooves. A few streets away but hard to miss as those horses are riding hard through the streets.
"Of course, I have high hopes for you, you and your brother. Although...I'd like to see you'll do better than your brother."He studies you for a moment before continuing, "I can tell you of a mission your brother is currently on. Perhaps try your luck and see if you're better suited to my tasks, interested?"
This does pique her interest. She hadn't actually realized that Kazkov was out on assignment. She does worry that working with him might prove to be troublesome, considering he hasn't been entirely trusting of her as of late, but if she can prove better than him than the Golgari will be more trusting of her. It could go very well, or very poorly, but she's not going to get anywhere without starting.
"I'd be happy to join my brother on assignment. I'm sure my talents will prove more than useful."

Hormir leaves a nasty gash upon the juggler's back but they still stand and run away from them. Sergeant Radolak growls as he looks to the Boros legionnaire strung up, "Private Churm, get the man down and bring him into the building for treatment. Corporal, secure the building, check for traps or demons. Private Hormir and Kieryl, with me, we'll secure the perimeter. Let's move people, there's supposed to be another squad here and we only found one half dead soldier here." The squad sheathes their weapons and Churm starts to climb up the wall and untying the man. Corporal takes a look through the window before drawing a shortsword and walking slowly into the checkpoint. Sergeant stands near Hormir as he gives a prayer before the few corpses.
Nezuit nods, "Good, I've sent your brother on a mission to retrieve a clutch of Kraul eggs. They were stolen from one of our hatcheries and it is a rather tricky situation. As you see, they're keeping our young hostage and just blindly attacking the thief is out of the question. We need them to let their guard down and wait for an opportunity to get the eggs back. Once we have them, we can simply just leave or kill the fool that stole from us. I don't care which one. All I care about is that our young shall be returned to us." He takes a paper out and sets it on the table, "Although your brother has the original letter, I can tell you what I've read. It seems the thief had this planned, from entering the undercity to escaping out to the 2nd district. We do not have a name but we do have an alias, a mister Quick Hand. I'm sorry that your first mission will be to the surface but it will be a good test to see how well you do. And I believe your brother is already in the second district, though I fear he lacks the subtlety for this kind of mission."

Kazkov was never the subtle type. It's a good thing, however, that subtlety is her specialty. The second district is less familiar to her, but she's not too worried about it. She reaches out to take the paper and study the information. (Would she recognize the thief's alias Quick Hand at all).
"I'll manage the surface, dreadful as it is. But to bring our young back it shall be worthy cause. You can count on me High Chancellor."
In actuality Vreszka is quite fond of the surface, a fact she tries to keep closely guarded since her parents caught her in her younger years.

'Images just popped into my head.' Gallias replies, having calmed down enough to give a coherent answer but momentarily forgetting about decorum. 'There was a cracked Boros medaillon. A goblin crying next to a bloody body. And cloaked figures riding horses.'At that moment does the rapping of horse hooves resound in his ears. 'There! Do you hear them? That must be the horses that I saw!' Gallias fumbles to his feet and starts running off into the direction of the sound of hooves beating the ground.

The minotaur notices the light start to come above him again and steps out of the way as it tries to descend upon him. Throom takes the chance and casts hold person on the minotaur. Atrexi takes another shot at the last anarch.

Attack: 8 Damage: 5
The minotaur shakes loose of Throom's influence and Atrexi takes down the anarch. Leaving only the shaman and minotaur left.
The shaman knows this but just grins, he speaks his language once more as a sword of flames starts to materialize in his hand. Once fully there, he slashes at the spiders with his fiery sword. The minotaur brings his axe upon another spider.
Attack: 22 Damage: 12
Attack: 18 Damage: 10
The spider before the shaman cries out as the flames cut through it and starts to spread over it's body. The minotaur finds same luck as he cuts down one of the bigger spiders with a single swing. The spiders start to move back slightly as the shaman holds up his blade of fire and the minotaur roars with spider guts on him.
DM Note:
I'm sort of hating how Atrexi is doing this good and it's cause I'm botting him. I swear to god, if I bot people they turn into gods.
The sergeant looks to you for a while, "Private," He says, "Did I order you to chase after them? No, I did not. Our mission is to hold this checkpoint. While I appreciate fervor, I like getting the mission done more. Besides, you're alive and that makes you more useful than dead. That's what I want from our squad, to complete the mission with the least injuries and no casualties. Now keep an eye out and shout if you see something that looks like it wants to stick a shiv in us." The sergeant's massive hand gives you a pat on the shoulder as he leads out and around the checkpoint.
The chancellor nods, "I am counting on one of you to succeed and try to keep quiet about this. I prefer not to cause a panic among the Kraul or those above because of this. Though I do understand that it shall be quite hard as the surface is not used to seeing our kind up above, so I wish you the best." The paper describes a route through the sewers, starting from district 2 and ending at the undercity. It does tell a description of the eggs and to get however many they could. It doesn't tell of how they managed to sneak past the Kraul guards around the undercity.

She dips her head before turning to leave and studying the route described. Her brother is likely already in the 2nd district, but he doesn't have the same tricks up his sleeves as she does. Stealth missions are what she specializes in after all. For now, she follows the familiar path down the sewers until it branches out into areas she's less familiar with before referencing the paper for which way to go.

Thwuut will walk between the Gruul and Spiders to interpose herself. She raises her hand to the wounded spider (I don't think it's dead) and uses Cure Wounds to help it.
During your time on the surface, you have heard talk about a pickpocket stealing from folks in the 5th district. Though not so much of a description of the pickpocket, all you can remember is that they're fast and haven't been caught. But that information is a few years old, so it is rumors at best.
You follow through the path with relative ease though having some problems as you reached the sewers. You come to the end of the path, setting you face to face with a ladder. Up above, light comes pouring down upon you as you hear the talk of crowds.
