I think im gonna bow out. Thank you very very much for letting me explore my character, for you taking your time to run this game, and to thank everyone who was in it, I truly had a great time. See you all around the forums!
Ioathe hasn't said anything but did leave the campaign, so it looks like this has come to an end. Here's my promised wrap up or everyone!
You recover the other half of the golden tablet and piecing the two parts together reveals a map of the underwater maze (allowing you to find your way through quickly without making survival checks).
You find your way through the maze, arriving in a huge central burial chamber that is completely flooded with water. As you enter, Menet-Ka’s ghost rises from his sarcophagus and attacks.
The battle is hard fought, but the three of you defeat the spirit- putting the pharaoh's angry ghost to rest. From there, you find a tunnel that leads upward and your group, with a barely conscious Wasif in tow, surfaces in the middle of the oasis gasping for breath.
Wasif is beyond grateful to the three of you for saving his life and rewards you with as much gold as you can carry. He tells stories of your prowess and bravery to anyone who will listen. He has much influence in the city and promises that if there is anything he can aid you with in the future he will do it.
On the return trip, Wasif pieces together the Pharaoh's story from the golden tablets you found. Menet-Ka built his tomb here because of the powerful ley line running through the oasis. He planned to use the magic of the oasis to bring himself back to life after he met his end and rule forever. However, in his pride, he turned his back on Anu-Akma, thinking himself above the god of death. For the pharaoh's hubris, the jackal headed god cursed him and those buried with him with undeath. The pharaoh was doomed to linger as a spirit, his name and the location of his tomb forgotten.
Thank you guys so much for playing. I know it started to drag a bit toward the end, but I loved your characters and I hope you enjoyed yourselves. <3
