(ha totally) Breathing heavily Aryn looks over to Mucor and feels a fuzzy warm sensation rush through her. She closes her eyes completely comfortable and breathes out slowly. “I think you’re getting the hang of this. As much as I’d like to continue I think we should probably meet up with the others for breakfast.”
She’ll get up and begin putting on her clothes and armor and look back at Mucor and wink. “Maybe we can come back after we’re done eating.” Before Mucor is fully dressed she’ll walk over and kiss him on the forehead then smack him on the ass and continue getting dressed.
Mucor would lay there breathing heavily with a smile on his face. At first all he can muster is a nod in response before slowly making his way out of bed and picking his clothes off the floor. When he bends over to pick up his pants, he jumps a little bit and lets out a snort as her hand smacks him on the backside. "I'm going to have to eat even more than usual." He would say with a grin. "I think I am going to need my strength." He would add before finishing getting dressed and giving her one last hug and kiss before they head out to get breakfast.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gaelin does his best not to wake Valeera and removes his arms to poke and prod himself to make sure this is real life. Then he'll lean over Valeera and inspect her carefully poking her without waking her up. (Not in the same way Mucor is poking Aryn. lol) Once he's assured that he's alive and awake he'll slow his breathing and wake Valeera. "Morning beautiful. Did you have any dreams? I had a terrible one but I wanted to see if you also had one." He'll do his best to conceal how much the dream had shaken him.
Torq- You fly out of your chambers and out into the open air which takes your breath away from the cold but after a few seconds you're past it and you notice Aryn and Mucor walking up from the grove together. You arrive and the twins appear to be a bit shaken when you encounter them but no worse for wear physically. They immediately smile and rush to embrace you and tell you about their bad dreams. At the expiration of 20 minutes it is clear that each of you had similar bad dreams involving the dragons. Whether magically induced or a shared post traumatic experience you aren't sure.
Gaelin- Valeera stretches smiling and turns over with her eyes still closed. They slowly flicker open and adjust. "Good morning dear. I don't really recall. I slept so hard last night I doubt my brain would've even had the energy to dream. What was your dream about?" She asks eagerly. She always loved conversation especially involving stories. (assuming you tell her) She frowns and begins to rub the back of your head. "That does sound terrible... but you're okay Gaelin. We survived. Bahamut and the others are helping us. We'll be fine regardless of whatever those other dragons try. Let's get you some food. There's nothing that cures a bad night better than a good meal... well there is one other thing if you're not feeling hungry." She says tickling the back of your neck and strolling her finger across your chest and down your abdomen.
Gaelin ponders for about 2.5 seconds and kisses Valeera quite passionately fully allowing her body to replace any other thoughts in his mind. After they're done he will admit to being hungry and will get dressed and head towards the dining hall.
You each make your way to the dining hall with Torq, Cedany, Iris, Kelgos and the twins arriving first followed by Gaelin & Valeera then Aryn and Mucor and finally Jinara. You each notice the glow in the air as you turn the corner and enter the large dining hall. Sat upon the table is a small glowing box made of ornately carved wood with bronze fittings. Despite any investigation or prodding with the chest it appears to have no seals, inscription or lock. It remains shut giving off a radiant white gold glow until Jinara arrives and sits at the table. As soon as Jinara sits the top of the box disintegrates revealing a glowing scroll that begins to emit the voice of Bahamut. "Davara and I have traveled the world in our minds and located some items that will be of great value to you in the coming battles. Be cautious and well prepared should you choose to venture in search of these items. Some may be well guarded while others may be bartered for. In the rocky heights of the Withering peaks you will find a tribe of orcs, who remained untainted by Daegon's spell, lead by a great warrior chief who has in their possession a unique crafted armor. Amongst the sunken ruins of Shaxgan lies an ancient staff that was once thought to be lost. Far beneath the deserted island of Theros lies a large cache of treasures and weapons." The scroll repeats the words once then flashes white and rolls itself up into an ordinary scroll with the message inscribed.
Aryn- you have only heard of Shaxgan in stories of myth in relation to the cataclysm but know nothing of it's location. The other two locations don't ring a bell.
Gaelin- As each location is named a brief memory is pinged in your mind. You know the withering peaks are in the middle of Drekthar territory. Shaxgan was an island city off the north eastern coast of Zhora that was completely destroyed in the tsunami after the explosion of Monsigneus during the cataclysm. Theros is an island off the western coast of Telgun centered between the Thettarus, Azuven and Xirin Kingdoms. The island was once fought over by each of the kingdoms but horror stories from soldiers of strange monstrosities eventually lead to the island being abandoned.
Iris, ever the scholar and planner pulls from her bag a map of Eraas and Gaelin quickly identifies the localized areas of each named location.
Gaelin will most definitely tell everything he knows. “So this is just an idea, but if we go to the withering peaks, we will be somewhat close to the rift that is also in Drekthar lands, and should make that a double mission. Not suggesting the order just combing them. Also does anyone have the ability to make us able to breathe underwater for a long period of time? I have a feeling we’re going to be underwater for an extended stay for shaxgan.”
"If we can knock out two at once that gets my vote because I might be able to help with more than just my weapons. Once we get there I can connect to the nearby area and try to pinpoint any outliers. I prefer efficiency, and from the looks of it the other two are way more remote. I'm fine with whatever the group wants to do though." Torq says looking at the map.
"Might as well start somewhere. I'm fine with doing any of them. We also need to consider whether or not we're going to return to the feywild to find Antonidus." Aryn adds in. She'll take some bacon, eggs and biscuits with jam and do her best not to smile too much when she looks at Mucor.
(@Aryn- I think mine is showing the same thing- RandyWatson 2 days ago. Maybe it's a forum issue.)
Iris looks over the map and listens to the group discuss options. "Though I would like to travel with you, I think it best for me to stay here. I can do some research on the other locations and update you if anything occurs."
(Mines working fine. Maybe you two are just special.)
"So how are we going to get wherever our first target is? Gaelin can you teleport us nearby? Do we need to take the griffons? I can pack and carry supplies for the group." Torq asks knowing he can cover a lot of ground by himself, but the others not so much. He would try to hide his excitement at another mission. The few days of research and calm were a nice reprieve from duty but now he was ready for action.
"Thank you Iris. I think that is a great idea, it may even give us an advantage later. (wink wink* xtra) If we choose the rift and Withering Peaks I can teleport us to the Drekthar capital then we'd have to fly south from there. If we choose Theros I can teleport us to the Azuven capital and fly to the northwest. For Shaxgan, I think we may want to take a boat. We don't know where in the ocean it is only the general area. (guessing tens of hundreds of square miles) If we go to the feywild, we also have to worry about how long we'll be away here. The time difference scares me a bit and I don't know if we should risk it yet.Hopefully Valeera will be joining us on this trip and she can carry 6 of us. That will allow one additional person from Alexandria, Cedany, Juliana or Kelgos to join us since Iris is volunteering to stay behind. If they all want to come we can take the griffons but getting out of danger will be difficult. I'll need a minute to cast the teleportation circle so all of us can make it out." Gaelin replies thinking over each scenario.
(Yay it's working again. Hope everyone had a good 4th!)
"I like the order you just listed them, dreky, theros and shax. That should give us plenty of time to plan and decide whether we should go to find Antonidus. I think we should keep the group small unless someone else can help with teleporting the group. Each of you provide us a unique set of skills. Does anyone want to volunteer to go or anyone who doesn't want to go?" Aryn says turning to the four.
Valeera nods in ascent and says, "I am happy to assist in any way I can." There's a brief moment of silence before Alexandria and Cedany take a step forward to volunteer while Juliana and Kelgos look on. Alexandria turns to see Juliana waiting behind and turns to Cedany, "You can go. I will stay behind with my sister. Take care of them." Alexandria says her eyes passing between Cedany and Torq. With a simple but complex press of the hand Alexandria releases Cedany and steps back alongside Iris, Juliana and Kelgos. Cedany nods in confirmation then turns to the group. "When do we leave?"
(If you're going Drekthar first, are you going to search for the rift or the orc tribe first?)
