The archer drops his crossbow into the gully, and just runs.

The swordsman however doesn't even seem to notice your words, nor does he appear to notice the magical bells of the dead as he doubles down on his attacks against Violet.

Violet raises her arm to defend herself, blocking most of the first blow, but the second one comes down heavier. She falls to the ground, her blood flowing wide in the rain made stream on the ground.

A pained smile crosses his face as he turns to face Jatrin. "You next?"

To everyone's disbelief given the injuries sustained, Violet pushes her way back onto her feet. Although she's still close to death's door. (1hp)

(yes for sneak attack) The arrow takes him by surprise in the back, piercing through his torso, blood dripping from the wound.

Seeing Violet's condition I call out "Focal leighis"  My form then contorts and shifts into that of a Giant Lizard

Violet, still standing from that blow, attempts to grab the swordsman arm, wordlessly trying to shock him again.

Estellen raises his staff, channeling the power of the storm towards the swordsman in a bolt of lightning.

The bolt of lightning is disrupted by the rain and grounds nearby the target, harmlessly.

The swordsman then attacks twice at Jatrin 14 : 5 || 10 : 6

Jatrin just lets the blows land harmlessly on his armour, bouncing off.

Violet again tries to grasp the swordsman, now personally wanting to bring the dude down.

Tailine pulls back again and fires, hoping to strike true despite the storm.

The giant lizard charges at the swordsmen trying to bite him.

Simultaneously an arrow hits the swordsman in the centre of his back, causing him to fall limp and get eviscerated by Jatrin's blade. The blood flows freely from the corpse, turning the whole gully in a red river for a while, until the heavy rain finally washes away all trace of blood from the ground. (combat over)

The dark clouds turn the evening into a place of darkness as the conflict comes to a close. From a guess about the landscape and distance travelled, you reckon you might be able to make the city by true nightfall.
