You move the wagon off the road, and dismount to approach the man's camp, meagre as it is. Near a small copse of tress, but not within it, the man has a single log next to his campfire and the pot above it. He moves to his packs, takes out a number of small bowls, and fills them from the steaming pot.
"I'm so glad you decided to join me, the road can be a lonely place at times, and it is always good to meet a new face and share a story or two." He hands out cups to Gueilia and Orinoco, fills a third and pauses a moment "I thought I saw three of you... Ah," As Rob tries to sneak round to the man's pack, the fact that it is so closely situated to the pot and fire with no real cover around, makes him remarkably easy to spot, "There is your delightfully diminutive friend. Take a cup, it is remarkably good, if I do say so myself."
The man ushers you all to take seats on the log, whilst he himself rests upon the dry ground by the fire, seeming to enjoy it's warmth as he sips at his tea. "Where have you come from friends? Folks call me Zemmy, I am something of a minstrel and do so delight in stories."
"Who could harm one such as I? No, I fear not the journey nor the encounters that come from it, for that is what makes life interesting. Though worry I do about when I shall next hear a good story. I cannot really tell myself anything new, so I must rely on travellers like you! You see your simple dismissal of your journey as plain is immediately contradicted by your rousing a goblin ambush! Did you hunt them down, find their cheif and disband their motley camp? Did you overcome a horde so great that it was a veritable sea of green? There must be a story in that! If not, maybe a tale from your past?"
Mmmm this tea IS good, what is your secret?, I am but a simple druid with no great past, I am the black sheep of my family, so have embarked on my own journey to truly find out what my capabilities are and prove to my family that I'm not the epic fail they believe me to be. How did you become who you are Zemmy and what stories got you here?..... Do you intend on staying alone in your journey or would you like to join us on ours?
((@Orinocco, roll me a Performance check, with advantage. To do so:
look on your character sheet,
check your performance modifier, which will be charisma based.
roll a d20 and add the modifier.
If you are looking at DDB in a desktop view through your phone, then there is a little dice icon above your 'Reply' window where you type.
If you are just looking at the mobile site, then you'll need to type the code in to perform the roll (excluding the first space after the [) - [ roll]1d20ad[/roll]

"Ah, my favourite stories are those of the people I meet and chasing after them is what drives me from place to place, road to road; I tire of my own voice when others are near, for so much of the time it is all I have to accompany me. Even so I am a solitary beast and would stay my road alone, but your willingness to accept a passer-by into your own tale is a mighty offer, for which I thank you!"
Turning to Gueilia and Rob, Zemmy adds "How about each of you, there is no need to stay quiet whilst in my camp. come now, surely you have some stories to share?"
While you lot stay with this piece of garbage, I'll have a look at what he's got in his storage.

Tea sounds good, and maybe we can get some info on the road ahead

Nothing story worthy here Zemmy, just some travellers moving some stuff for hire and a chance to see a bit of the world.
How about you neighbour? There's bandits around here, we ran in to some goblins just a little ways back. don't you worry, being on your own?
