((Raya - they are dirty and scared, but not hurt, so no need to waste a spell))

"I - I - I'm not sure.  They covered our heads when they brought us here - all we've seen is this room," the woman says.  As she talks with Raya, Delg attempts to break the lock on the other cell again.  This time his aim is true and with a loud clang, the lock falls off. 

The boy steps out and immediately rushes over to the two women.  "Ma, we've got to get out of here.  Anything is better than staying with the monsters who captured us and killed Da."

Ajax adds

"we escorts you outside but please stay silent, you will arrive to a farm..."

And briefly explains the road to town

He then goes back to the room with the weapons and takes three clubs or three daggers and give them to the slaves 

"better than nothing but use them as last resource"

Melkias waits patiently for the final disposition with the slaves. He is ready to go further and deal with these bugbears and lighten them from the burden of their wealth.

At Ajax's description, the woman nods her head.  "We're in the old Manor then?" she asks.  "I should have realized."  As Ajax offers the weapons, she shakes her head.  "We'll be quick and quiet, no need for those."  The boy, however, immediately grabs a dagger.  "We need some sort of weapon, Ma, or we'll end up like Da," he says determinedly.  She smiles sadly at him. 

Mulligan has a realization. "The family of Thel Dendrar, I presume?"

The woman starts, and then nods.  "Yes, I'm Mirna Dendrar, and these are my children, Nars and Nilsa," she says, indicating the boy and girl.  "Wait - how did you know that?" she asks. 

"We heard about your husband. I'm very sorry, he was very brave to speak out as he did. We're here to end the Redbrands."

She smiles wanly, her hand on her daughter's shoulder.  "Too bad you brave adventurers weren't around before they got to my husband," she says sadly.  Suddenly, the boy points to something beyond the door. 

"Did you kill that, too?" he asks.  The party turns, and you see Droop, lying on the floor.

"What, did he pass out again? Can somebody make sure he's ok? Um, anyway, no. He helped us find you all."

Delg goes over to Droop and gives him a shake. He also checks on the Redbrand to see if he's still unconscious.

Raya chimes in gesturing to Droop then back to the family "He's been a great help, he brought us to you guys." Addressing the family with the rest of supplies "Safe travels, I'm sorry about your husband. We've got more work to do here."

Droop wakes at Delg's shake.  "Wha-?" he says, looking around in confusion.  Seeing the Redbrands, his eyes widen and he looks afraid.  Then he looks at the party, eyes wide.  "Droop help?" he asks. 

At Raya's words, Mirna seems taken aback.  "You want us to find our own way out of here?" she asks fearfully. 

Ajax lolls his head thinking

"poor woman..."

And saying promptly 

"we offer myself, actually, I offer ourselves to escorts you outside"

Waiting for everyone to join him or not, he will escorts the slaves nonetheless 

At Ajax's words, Nils steps up, brandishing his dagger.  "If you can lead us back to this tunnel you mentioned, I'm sure we can find our way from there."  He motions to the two women.  "Come on, Ma, Sis, we need to go," he says urgently.

As Droop listens, he looks at Ajax and says, "What about eye creature?"

Nils looks at Droop and then back at the group.  "What eye creature?" he asks suspiciously.

Delg's hand twitches, as if to grab Droop. But he takes a breath instead and starts to drag the Redbrand out the door.

"I'm sorry, I think I'm hearing things as of late. I could've SWORN I heard something about an eye creature."

Melkias looks dismayed.

"I heard it too Melkias" Raya agrees, then turns to face Droop "Is the eye creature down that tunnel? I don't remember seeing one as we entered" facing the group confused "did we?"

Droop looks confused. “Eye creature lives in cave.  Didn’t you see it?” he asks.  

Delg stops at the door and looks at Droop. "Is it the eye creature that likes to eat hairy meat?"

Melkias shudders.

"By the gods, I hope not. I'm much too handsome to be eaten."
