Silver just nods as he begins to head towards were some of the better jewelry stores would be located. As he does he just walks side by side with Phaedra "Thanks for saving me. How are you holding up Phae." he says just keeping pace as his eyes look around taking in the surroundings.

"No need to thank me Silver... I wish I had saved Sel as well. I just hope we can bring her back. Seluun, he didn't have to kill her, she was down but he just looked at me and finished her off. I think the only reason he left me was because he knew I would stay and he could get away."

Silver and Phae walk from the dock ward to the trades ward and quickly find Bristlehands Bright Gems. When you enter the shop you are greeted by a young half-elf lady sitting behind the counter. "Welcome to Bristlehands. How can I help you today?"

Silver just nods patting her on the back "I understand, just be careful if anything starts getting to you I'm hear to talk." with that he'll open the door to the shop "Good morning beautiful. I was wondering if you might have any diamonds worth 100 gold." he just walks to the counter giving her a smile as he leans on the glass.

OOC: if Elon headed to the same area, would he have gone to the same store or noticed Phae and Silver?

"I'm sure one to fit your needs. Are you looking for a specific size, clarity, cut or will it just be used for a spell component?"

OOC: From what I can tell, this is the only place in that ward to buy gems and one of only three in the whole city. So if you're heading to the shop closest to the Sailor's Last Request, this is it.

Phaedra would flag Elon down when she notices him.

Elon sees Phae and Silver so he walks over.

"You guys got here quick. Siver, you are looking much better. If we alk pitch in then we should have enough for the diamond"

He reaches into his pouch and gets out 20 platinum pieces then hands them to Silver.

Phaedra emptied her entire pouch of gold, totaling 180 gold.

Silver just looks at the woman taking the money from his companions "We are looking to help a priest bring a friend back. So I need a diamond worth 500 gold, sorry for listing the wrong price earlier we are just a little distracted with getting back in time for her."

"Not a problem." The woman says as she walks through a door and right back out holding a diamond in her hand. "We keep diamonds this size handy for just this purpose." She sets the diamond on the counter. "Will this be all you're needing?"

Elon gives Phae a gentle pat on the shoulder 

"Selinae will be ok. We will get the bastardss that did this" Elon says trying to comfort Phaedra.

Back at the Temple, Kestrell stands next to Selinae and glares at the priest and anyone else who comes close.

She gives Elon a weak smile, "Well if that is it, let's head back."

Silver just smiles as he looks over The diamond and then hands her the collected money “I think that should be it. Thanks for your help.”

As you all return to the Sailor's Last Request you hurry back into the room where Sel and Kes are the priest turns to you, "You're back! Great! Please give me the diamond and the 100 gold and we'll get this young lady back on her feet, assuming that's okay with her."

Silver hands over the diamond and money.

Upon receiving the gold and the diamond the man exits the room where Selinae lies. He returns a few minutes later with a chair, a pitcher of water, and two glasses. He sets the chair next to the bed and places the two glasses on the nightstand. After filling both glasses he sets the water pitcher down and then looks to the party.

"This spell takes an hour to perform. If you wish, you may wait in here but I need silence, please."

With that he sits in the chair and slides it up against the bed. His hands start to move in the erratic motions common to magic as he starts to pray in what sounds like at least three languages. About thirty minutes into the spell you see light emanating from the diamond sitting on Selinae's body and realize you don't recall seeing him put the diamond there in the first place. As the priest or whatever he is continues to pray the light grows in intensity eventually becoming so bright that it hurts your eyes. Then, suddenly, the light vanishes and the priest stops chanting. In the new silence you all hear Selinae take a breath. Then another. Then she coughs. The priest already has one glass in his hand and is gulping it down. He quickly sets his glass down and grabs the other glass and helps Selinae drink from it.

"There you go child, just a sip at a time. Easy does it. Time to get up, your friends are waiting for you."

Selinae groggily takes a few sips but when hearing about her friends her eyes shoot open and her mind kicks into gear, and she remembers what happened.

Kestrell stands quietly in the corner of the room during the spell casting.  He's never seen anything quite like it, and is quite amazed, but maintains a solid poker face.

When Selinae's eyes fly open, Kestrell breathes a sigh of relief, then rushes over to her side and helps her sit up.  "Hi there, Serinade.  How are you feeling?  We've got a bit of a good news/bad news situation here.  The bad news is that you were cut up pretty good and succumbed to your wounds.  The good news is that you're back!"

Selinae gasped and looked about then froze as Kestrells words sunk in.

" I died? Makes sense I guess....there was no way out of it....death is not good. Cannot recommend.""

She looked at Phaedra in sudden panic, " None of you told my parents did you? That I died I mean...."

" Dad would not take that well at all....."

" I take it he got away? What about the others? You didn't lose them because of me I hope..."

" Oh My Gods....I am starving........can we get food?"

" And....", she looked around the chapel and at the priest. " I take it I suddenly owe a lot of money...."
