Yorvalor bows low, retrieves the ring, and thanks Curtis. “Hopefully when we meet again, it will be in better circumstances.” He and Keegan discreetly leave the church.

Keegan and Yorvalor exit the room, Curtis not turning to look at them. Seeming to act like he didn't even notice them leave, or which way they went.
Both pass by the four guards and the robed woman. The bitter and cold aura of her's causing their skin to shiver for a moment. She doesn't pay either of them any mind, not even a passing glance. The two exit as the kids take Emund's coin and give a small nod, before they go back to the games they were playing outside the church.
Emund, from where you stand, somewhat obscured, you see Keegan and Yorvalor return out the front door. Neither seeming to be injured or harmed.
Yorvalor looks for Emund once outside of the Church. He shivers, and tries to shake off the feeling of dread after passing the robed woman. Once noticing Emund, the pair goes to him, and tries to go to a more discreet location, so they can talk. On the way to meet his friend, Yorvalor pats his pocket to make sure Curtis' ring is there.

The ring firmly in his pocket, the trio heads down. Walking along the docks a bit. Dodging those loading and unloading cargo. The stench of the boiling leviathans covering you all; but for the most part the streets are too pact and busy for a group just on a humble stroll.
"So you're not dead and you're not marked for heresy, so I take it that went well?" Emund asks both Yorvalor and Keegan.
"While you were in, I chatted with some kids about a frightening lass who'd made her way in just as you were leaving. The sort to kill you dead and walk right over your corpse." He runs a thumb across his throat to illustrate his point. "Gave em a bit of coin to keep eyes and ears open."
He scans the packed area for anything interesting (Perception: 11).
"It is good to see that you are well too Brother Emund. I will take that you are not acquainted with 'Lady Death'. Lovely lady." Yorvalor shivers. "We did pass by her on our way out. Fortunately, though, she did not pay us any attention. It seems that she has something important to do in the church."
Yorvalor looks around to make sure there are no elements of the Church following them. (Perception: 19)
"So... We managed to speak privately with Brother Curtis, and it seems that we may have gotten this Relic business all wrong. We asked him about the Relic. I told him that you had a vision, and you sent us on your behalf. The Church is not actually moving the Relic, and this is what Brother Curtis told us:" Yorvalor tries his best to imitate Curtis' voice and mannerism.
"The relic is simply a sign that the power of one of the saints has returned. To be reborn and brought out. A Saint from the Tower of War. Reborn in such a kind girl. Reborn in someone so gentle. This is for her, my son. The relic is just the method to bring it out." Yorvalor pauses for a moment. "Then he continued:"
"In moments, the Holy Saint of War will be coming. And I'm afraid she will find it simple to look past rouses and disguises. Tonight they will be bringing both the Relic, and the Vessel together. To affirm the return of the power of a Saint. If you all found the far left window open, perhaps you could stop it? Or at least, we can see how all the threads that bind us are intertwined."
"So perhaps, that 'Lady Death' IS the Holy Saint of War? Do you know anything about this Vessel? And I am not exactly sure what he meant about the window."
"Ohhh, and by the way. Brother Curtis dropped this ring at the end of our audience." Yorvalor gives Emund the ring. "Does this look familiar?"

"Thinking of all kind girls in that cathedral, all that comes to mind is your lass, Yorvalor. I'd venture that I know where that window is." He responds with any knowledge he has of the ring, or lack thereof, as well as any knowledge of this kind of ritual concerning a Vessel.
Yorvalor freezes where he stands. "My dear Isabella??"
(OCC: If that is the plot. I TOTALLY DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!!!)

(Haha, yes. It's totally the plot and what I had in mind. Her talking to Curtis at the beginning, Curtis doing research. Her having a party she wants to Yorvalor to come to. )
As you all keep your heads out, the coast does feel quite clear. A few guards here and there who give you a look, but never seem to begin to pursue. The ring itself is one for those who are higher in the church. It'll unlock many doors - but not all. Some of the armory and library. Specific rooms and chambers. It may not get directly into the heart of where bones of famous leaders and holy members are kept.. but... it's close.
(Also, whenever the 'dungeon' happens. For the sake of simplicity it'll enable a short rest to be just a few minutes and along rest to be like half an hour. Mostly to keep a reasonable timescale for the adventure..)
As for ceremonies; there were always stories. People who resonated with bones of the dead holy members of the church. Seemed to become more powerful around them. This, most likely, is something similar. Part ritual and ceremony - a display and show. Any sort of divine intervention and training wouldn't happen then and there. At least, you think.
"Well this just gets better and better, doesn't it. Now your girl is going to become a saint? She was already a bit above your station!" Tossing a wink in for good measure. "And now we simply slip in through a window, then sneak through a church full of Knights and a Death Lady, who by the way can apparently see through our rouses and disguises. Well I ain't got nothin better to do."
You all continue to walk, and talk. Looking around, there's little else going on. Despite what you know, the day to day of Dunnour seems to be running as normal.
(Let me know if there's any prep work you would like to do, last minute things, etc..)
"My Dear Isabella!!" Yorvalor looks at both Keegan and Emund with a worried face. "We must not let any harm come to my Dear Isabella!! I have to go fetch Slash then we go must go back to the Church!!"
With the thought of Isabella being in danger, Yorvalor tosses any precaution to the wind. Regardless if there is a Death Knight involved in the affairs or not.

Night - Dunnour - Outskirts of the Cathedral Grounds
The sun has set on the city. The oil lamps mostly lit, especially around the docks. It's been a few hours since the trio got together to discuss their next steps. But, for whatever the reason, only Yorvalor and Edmund arrive at the meet up location. There's a moment of instant fear, looking around, taking to the shadows. Was Keegan caught? Does someone know the plan? After waiting half an hour, you're both convinced that nobody is on your tail and coming for you. Perhaps it's just cold feet. Or like before, just a mere few days ago, he was busy with another person's significant other and may be delayed...
Regardless, the need to press on is there. The Cathedral dimly lit. You know a few ways to go in.
The Front Door. Of course, this brings all the risk of instantly being caught and having to fight your way through god knows how many.
Sneak in through the windows along the sides of the church. Yes, there are a few patrolling city watch and a knight. But it would get you inside more on the ground level.
The last option would be to return through the same secret passage that Emund was came through via Curtis. If you followed the path back, you'd end up inside the dormitory. Lots of room to get caught, but also attempt disguising and sneaking. There could be other paths, though. Or you may simply get lost in the small crawlspace sized secret maze.
"You said Curtis recommended the windows, eh? Shall we make our way that way then?" Emund scopes out the windows he can see from the exterior to see if any are easy to get to or if any are clearly open (Perception: 24).

Emund and Yorvalor time their movements fairly well. First looking for a open window. Then, waiting for the night watch to pass by and head around the corner. (The Two Night Watch both talking rather loudly about a 3 Dragon Ante game that went wild at a bar). Using the moment, Yorvalor sneaks over, pressing against the window which does pull open. Emund is able to shuffle over as best as possible. One helping the other up and through the window with relative ease.
You both find yourselves in the interior of the Cathedral. One of the many offices that reside after the main chambers. The door is closed, but not locked. Pressing your ear to it, you can hear moving voices. People are clearly out and about.
