Backstory: Ildaer accepted the Dragon King's offer gladly to come to the surface with his fellow drow. Since then he has spent the past 50-80 years as a bounty hunter and assassin for Ulthan and his armies. During the Conquest of the Tiers, Ildaer acted as a scout and an assassin taking out important targets to weaken the defense. He has worked with both the Disfavord as well as the Crimson Guard, depending on where he was most needed.
Backstory: Lorahzt first joined Ulthan's armies at a relatively young age in order to provide for herself and her orphaned younger sister. Though at first she attempted to become a scout and stay far away from the front lines, she quickly found that her physical hardiness and power didn't help her as far as moving quickly and unseen through enemy territory was concerned. Even her (admittedly limited) magical abilities were not enough to offset this weakness, and so when the Conquest of the Tiers began, she found to her dismay that she was being transferred into the Crimson Guard as a common soldier, or, to her way of thinking, as arrow fodder. Desperate to avoid this fate, she used the two weeks she had before she was officially given to the Guard to prove her worth and hopefully keep her position. Through cunning and clever siege craft, Lorahzt, with a small band of new "recruits" for the Crimson Guard and a few acquaintances from the scouts, managed to claim a small outpost with a little more than twenty men (though that number had been cut in half in the fighting). In recognition of her valorous efforts, Lorahzt was officially booted from Ulthan's scouting corps... and enthusiastically welcomed into the Crimson Guard as a sapper.
For the rest of the Conquest, Lorahzt acted as whatever passed for a combat engineer for the Crimson Guard. The work was hard, endless, and often saw her working with, between, and around both her fellows in the Crimson Guard, the Disfavored, and even the enemy, but it kept her a lot farther away from the open battlefield than even her old scouting job had. The perfect job, for a dedicated survivor like Lorahzt. When the time came to quell the uprising in the Tiers, Lorahzt wasn't thrilled to have been picked, but she'd long ago taken to heart that the best way for a soldier like her to survive both her superiors and the enemy, was to follow orders, tow the line, and get clear once the work is done. She arrives prepared to work with anyone or anything to re-establish the Dragon's Peace, so long as who- or whatever she is made to work with doesn't try to get them all killed.
Backstory: Boo's earliest memory was being surrounded by weak, malnourished children in one of the dozens of cages. They were all sick since birth, deemed unfit for the king's army, but Boo was a different type of sick. There was always a look in his eyes, a look that made even the biggest kids in the cages second guess themselves. But there was a second reason for the cages; if you wanted freedom, truly wanted freedom, you had to kill all the other kids. Of course, none of the guards patrolling the cages told them this. One night, an elk came to Boo outside his cage. It was beautiful, the most elegant creature Boo had ever seen. Then, it spoke to him in an equally beautiful voice. "The Gorgal needs you to fight. To live." It tapped its front hoof on the dirt and their lied a dagger, just within Boo's reach. Boo took the dagger and slit the throats of all the children.
That morning, the guards found Boo sitting in his cage while the others were resting in their pools of blood. One guard asked, "What happened?"
Boo looked up to him, a innocent smile on his face, "The Gorgal put them to sleep."
Moments after that, the guards set Boo lose in the forest, where he eventually found the same elk. "Fight for king. Serve Gorgal. Live." The elk pressed its forehead onto Boo's, then died. Year's later, rumor would spread between soldier and commoner alike. Rumor of a man with an elk head patroling the forest. Killing those unlucky enough to cross him, and helping those who sought it. Year's later, that elk man sought the crimson guard for a position, and he was welcomed with open arms.
Apologies, tried on mobile and think I messed up rolls, here's another try:
Interesting worldbuilding! Might I wager that you're a Malazan Book of the Fallen fan?
Thinking a big rogue assassin type, quiet and strong, (along the lines of Corporal Kalam of the Bridgeburners -- "first in, last out"), who has survived too many battles, killing for the King as a scout/deadly assassin for the Disfavored.
Ability scores: 121414141412
Keram, human arcane trickster rogue serving in the Disfavored:
Keram is quiet. Tall enough to think you'd notice, and muscular enough that you'd be concerned in a dark alley. But you'd have to notice her, hear her, see her first. That's not going to happen until the task is complete, she's on her way, and the target is down.
Memories of how she got into the King's service are hazy, but they don't matter. What matters are the fellow soldiers she has served with her entire life, which began after she survived training. As an assassin and scout in the Disfavored, she's deployed along with her squad well ahead of the main battalions as the King's army moves across the face of Europa. "First in, last out," is her squad's motto. She's been in every hotspot across the peninsula before it was a hotspot. She's stayed behind to mop up after the main battles and hunt down the King's disloyal enemies.
Humans don't stick out as very special in the King's military forces, but as Keram learned to be quiet and deadly with her weapons, she also started to pick up on some arcane methods of vanquishing her enemies and protecting her brothers and sisters in her squad.
This isn't the first time she's been in the Bastard City, so the news that she was heading back to quell some kind of uprising wasn't shocking news. She'll do it though, to protect her mates.
Backstory: Before the Great King Ulthan came, Vik's clan were outcasts. They were shunned from most of the great cities in the Europa. But Ulthan saw there worth. He gave them purpose and status, and his clan served him loyally.
Each year, only a few select children from his clan were selected to join the Disfavored. It was considered the highest honor, so his Clan would have a festival and the children would compete in trials. As soon as he could walk, his parents put a blade in his hand. He was a prodigy, becoming so skilled with the blade that it was almost like an extension of his arm. He was the youngest competitor, having just turned 3 on the day of the festival. Despite this, he almost killed one of his opponents. Needless to say, he was shipped off to the Disfavored soon afterward.
Like the rest of his kin, he served as a spy for the Disfavored. Using his abilities, he was well adept at espionage, reconnaissance, and the occasional assassination. He enjoyed bringing down all those that opposed the Great King Ulthan. He is slow to trust those outside of his kin. While Ulthan elevated his Clan, the other races still held some deep seated prejudices.
Vik's team infiltrated the Bastard City during the Conquest of the Tiers. They began to sow discord amongst the inhabitants, trying to turn favor to the Great King. While he is not pleased that the fools rejected the Dragon's Peace, he will gladly go and set things right, whether with word or with blade.
Still working on this, but I at least got the backstory and some of the details down:
