Talien thinks for a few moments and then says to Shake, Talien is my name. But I could go by another name too? Like Talien the Forger of Weapons From a Far Away Land..... Maybe Talien the Weapon Master From a Far Away Land..... What do you think Shake?
Shake responds to Talien, "Those are real good titles. Very catchy. However, that's all they are... titles. You didn't really change your name. You added titles. May I suggest something like Talon Orourke McRobot, or Token Mandrag Sudoman. The trick is to make it close enough to your real name so that a friend who knows you will recognize you. But you want to make it different enough so that strangers, who may have heard of you and be intimidated by your reputation, will not recognize you and be put at ease. Titles can definitely help, but they are not really part of your name."
Shake looks at Alten, then at Grom, then back to Alten. "Yes. We must have just missed him. Or her. Maybe it was a her?!? In any case, let's put this whole dirty business behind us and get on with our real business."
OOC clarification - does anyone in the party actually know what Grom did? My recollection is that we were busy watching Shake and the rat guy when Grom went back (or was the last to leave). Or am I mis-remembering?
Only Grom was inside, you were the last to leave before him though...

Talon McRobot....I think I like this Shake. I am Talon McRobot III. Yes.
Shake looks at Talon, and trying really hard not to laugh says, "I think that name is perfect." Then he looks away and his face explodes with silent glee with occasional gasps for breath. Finally, after some final foot stomping and wheezing, Shake mutters to himself, "This is going to be a great song."

Yep.. and eventually...
You come to a square in the center of the city which looks like just another market... however, there are three well kept buildings towards the back of the market which look pretty official. The buildings form a three sided square with a courtyard in the middle and the opening of the courtyard forming the back of the market. You walk through the market and find more dwarves selling wares then you did in the rest of the city. As you arrive at the beginning of the courtyard you see in the center there what a downward sloping ramp that leads below and quickly becomes obscure from your vantage point...
Grom says proudly, "Ah, here we are the entrance to the Undercity.. or rather Undercity Square as it is called.." (Grom also conveys the following information:)
The city has six subterranean levels: the First Below, the Second Below, and so on. Ultimately, they connect with the Underdark via many branching, descending passages.” This connects up to the city via Undercity Square, which we have placed in the inner wall of the city, given its importance. The entrance to thisis via firstly a staircase, then a pulley operatedlift, and then various gates. Given that there are many dwarves who live and work in these various sublevels there is likely to be considerable traffic between the surface city and the Undercity, a constant to and fro of carts of materials and finished goods. Access to the dwarven Undercity is not an automatic right, and outsiders will likely need to petition for entry, unless they are known in the city, but given the amount of people going back and forth, a modicum of stealth will likely be sufficient toblend in and gain access without permission.
All I’m saying is we’re supposed to be finding the forge for Bozack before the bad guys, who have a head start on us. Let’s not get sidetracked in this city and forget what we’re supposed to be doing.

At the entrance you find the guards are dwarven. They wear plate armor with an axe imprinted on each pauldron. They greet you like kin though they do not personally know you, "Aye these folk are under your protection, they're allowed in o' course.. just make sure that automoton don't break anything," one of the guard's chuckles heartily with a wink as he pockets the coin.
The dwarves slam their axes on the hard stone ground simultaneously and a large set of oaken doors behind them open. You enter with baited breath, if anyone is looking at Grom you would think he looks almost giddy..
You walk descend a large staircase and find another set of large stone doors at the bottom.. there are a pair of guards, but they just nod as Grom flashes them his crest...
You walk through the doors and find a large empty room. Grom shouts ready and a large metal cage-like door closes over the entrance. A slight panic washes over the rest of you as you hear a loud metalic clank and then the release of what sounds like steam. You are now in the elevator run on a complicated mechanism known as a pulley system that leads down to the next level.
Grom smiles re-assuredly as the room suddenly seems to start moving! Your stomachs lurch and move upwards, but your bodies don't move it all!
