Talien looks around as the room starts to move and draws his sword and shield. After a few moments pass he puts the shield up but leaves his sword in his hand, still looking around.
The elevator comes to a halt and the room stops moving, though you still kind of feel like your organs are moving after being in motion for what felt like a good 2-3 minutes.
The doors open with the release of another loud hissing sound and as they part the first level of The Undercity is revealed...
It almost looks like an underground times square.. there are shops with glass windows just like on the surface and there are dwarves running to and fro. Some are dressed well while others look like they are wearing mining clothes and are covered in grime.

You weave into the crowd, who seem to give you a glance and a bit of a frown, but don't out right stop or question you..
You head towards the government district through a series of subterranean streets passing more shops and offices along the way. You enter a square about 10 minutes from the elevator. The square has elaborately carved statues and a staircase leading to a second level with overhanging balconies. There looks to be offices built into the walls all along the first and second story. At the far end of the square there is a large building with an oversized pair of doors. Guards are more frequent here. A pair walk the square in alternating patterns and others stand in front of offices and the large set of doors. Gold gilding adorns the dwarven designs throughout the square.. the site is a splendid display of dwarven wealth and power.
[Can we assume Grom is asking where to go if he doesn't know? Or is something you specifically want or need us to RP out?
It makes sense that the rest of us would be waitiing for and following Grom's lead in Dwarven territory. At least that's my approach as both a player and a character.]

Where’s this Torvold, Grom? And what can he do to help us?
Captain Torvold, we have been Kin for a long long time dating back a few hundred years.. he is an advisor to the commander of the Axe of Mirabar who has Selin's ear directly.
Mirabar’s Marchion, Selin Ramur, meets with the other members of the Lords’ Alliance to ensure that Mirabar’s interests aren’t ignored. While the marchion handles foreign policy, true power within the city rests with the Council of Sparkling Stones, a group of dwarf elders that manages the city’s security and decides where the output of Mirabar’s mines are sold. The city’s defense falls to the Axe of Mirabar, a well-armed garrison.
The guard directs you inside the main building, once inside you go through the equivalent of court house security and are required to leave your weapons at check in. You make a right and head towards the captain's office. It takes you roughly ten minutes to get there through a series of long corridors lined with offices with closed doors. Finally, you arrive and find a gold placard on the door of "Captain Torvold Bearnolthson"'s office. You knock and receive a gruff, "What is it!"
As they state they will take Talien's weapons, he tells Grom. I must get these weapons back, the sword is all I have left of my master. He turns to the guards taking his weapons and says, Can I not keep any weapons at all? He holds the two handed sword in reserve awaiting a response and almost looking hopeful (as much as a 'robot' can)
If he can't keep his weapons he will volunteer to stay behind and watch the weapons and belongings.

The response is gruff and annoyed,"Weapons are not permitted within this district. There are no exceptions."

Rees just stares, wide-eyed as they encounter the undercity. She's been in towns and cities before, but nothing quite like this.

Grom would walk towards the bigger building
when stopped by a guard he would ask to send word to Captain Torvold that he would like to speak with him

After handing over all his weapons, Alten says to the guards.
Great, you've got my Glaive and crossbow. If I intended to harm someone, I don't need either of those.
I stick my hands out, pointing well away from any person and send an Eldrich Blast into the floor.
