The 5th Watchtower is not really far from where you are and you arrive a 15 minute later.
The gates are closed because of the night and two Watchmen stand guard, looking bored. They stiffen a bit when you approach and one of them knocks on the door behind him.
"Stop, " the spear comes lower to point at you, " State name and business with the Watch citizen."
"We're here as part of the investigation into the murder of a young woman. A corporal of your regiment sent us to speak to the baker's wife." Seb glares at the guard who has levelled his spear at him.

It takes several seconds for the guards to put their weapon down and you realise that they are in edge.
A man appears a few minutes later and waves you in. "Sorry about that, we had a break in and a murder in the jails, strange business that..." he shakes himself. " You are here for what exactly ?"
"I can't stand repeating myself, please take point here Kriz." Seb takes a small hip flask out and takes a sip of an unknown fluid, offering some to Crash when he's done.

" Yes, like I said, strangest thing. I was talking to a couple who just lost their daughter and we had break in. The magical alarm of the jails was triggered and we found a prisoner dead. Killed in his cell." He seems bewildered. "Never happened before."
"I left the couple alone in a room on the first floor, while we sort this out."
You can see that the guards are on high alert as he walks you into his office.
“That is soo weird,” Xana says as they enter the office, raising her eyebrows at the others, “We’ve actually come to talk to the couple, we want to build up a picture of their daughter, see if there was anywhere she frequented, who she tended to talk to and spend time with, and so on.”

When they are going towards it she says to Xana in elvish
" They are the second floor, " he waves to one of his men to lead you to it. "For the rest I ll see with your sergeant if things and how they pan out."
The young guard takes you up the stairs and to the room where the couple is waiting.
When you enter the room you see the baker, Richard, and his supposed wife, Jill talking in hushed tones. They stop and look at you as you file in.
[OoC]: Hey Rust, perhaps to expedite things a little, could you roll checks like that for them? Seems silly to wait 3-4 hours for them to come on and roll a check that anybody could do by looking at their sheet.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seb shuts the door after the full party have entered, grabbing a nearby chair and pushing it under the door handle to keep the guards (or anyone else away). He tries to use this as an intimidation technique to let the couple know that they mean business.
Seb thinks for a moment, then removes the chair. Opening the door, he says "Richard, I'd like to speak to you alone for a moment as part of the investigation into your daughter's death. Perhaps one of you ladies can accompany me?" He asks Kriz and Xana.

" Hey, want d'ya want ?" He bursts, putting himself in front of his wife.

Richard is not impressed at all and gets angrier by the minutes.
He goes on about loss and the tragedy of his life.
A hand on his shoulder clams him down.
The woman coming around him is tears stricken and disheveled.
