The Trog attacks Hunding with a three hit bite slash slash combo that hits, but due to his enraged state, only for 7 points of damage! (This brings the total damage taken to 12(0.5)!
Barely clinging to his life, Hunding summons up the energy for one more swing of his weapons while letting loose a guttural roar. With a furious pincer slice, Hunding decapitates the Trog sending it’s head flying across the room.
Hunding, breathing heavily, slowly starts to lose the enragement. How many years has it been since he was pushed this close to death?
Combat is now over. Please award yourself 75 xp. You are now free to choose what to do. During your perception check earlier, you did note that the Trog was standing in front of some sort of bag or satchel. That was all you noted in this room that was of interest.
(muttering to self) Yes...yes...our blood mixes with the blood of our foes. The gods of death and destruction will be pleased. Silence fool the gods care nothing for our plight.
Arlon: What was that father.
Hunding: Nothing son. A difficult fight, but the battle is won. Let us collect the spoils (loots backpack).
After bandaging and resting his eye, Hunding gets back to feet, restoring 11 points of hp. Arlon reports to his father and says "I didn't hear or see anything while you were resting"
Excellent son thanks for keeping watch. let us press on. there may be more valuable treasure to discover in this cave (head back to the room with the statue and head down the northwest unexplored passage).
As you walk into the last unexplored cavern into the room, you see a skeleton in the south corner with something scrawled beside him on the wall that reads "The paladin is dead" and several pieces of torn paper are scattered throughout the room.
With Hunding's perception he was able to spot all the pieces of paper that are left, and gets a +2 to investigation on the assembled document.

You enter the passageway and find a room with another broken down statue with a gem missing from it, similar to the other one found.
Interesting son. Looks like we need to find another missing gem in this statue (head back to first room and go down the eastern passageway)
