Rothnar starts walking and makes a couple of circles to make sure nobody is following him.
Eventually he heads towards the house that was his home. He just wants to see it and if it is inhabited.
As you're walking in circles, it begins to drizzle a little. People push past you, huddled against the elements. When you finally reach your childhood home, some similarities to your memory are striking. The building looks the same as it did when you were young, but the exterior woodwork on the house and the fence around the front garden has been painted a bright white. You remember every twist of the branches of the trees nearby from climbing them as a child, but they've grown larger and the paths of the branches look alien. You see flickering firelight inside and see shadows moving inside. After a minute or so, you hear a baby crying and then a mother singing and soothing it. You hear an older child laughing and playing with a figure with a deep male voice.
((I've taken a few liberties with details here, feel free to correct anything that doesn't fit your view of Rothnar's childhood or to embellish as you see fit))
[Yes, he would inform the others... He will roam around as a gray and brown house cat.]
You approach the warehouse in your disguise. It's fairly easy to find in the dock district. It's a large-ish building that sprawls over a large distance. You discern one main front entrance and one closed side door. One guard is outside and another is patrolling the exterior. They look like ordinary hired muscle, but they're taking their job seriously and appear to be reasonably alert. You can't get a good idea of what the inside is like from your vantage point. As you watch, you note carts of food entering and leaving periodically. The warehouse appears to be in heavy use. Some of the carts appear to be heading to the ships nearby, others out of town, others toward the market.
A perception check: 8
That's all you can discern from where you are.
((If you want to try and find a way in, you're welcome to. If any of your companions want to have come with you to help, that's cool too.))
Rothnar is about to jump the exterior fence when he hears the baby crying and he stops mid-air. He steps back and take a full circle arond the house. He finally jumps the fence and uses the cover of the night to go under the old tree. He passes a hand over the knots of the wood and remembers the familiar touch of it and all the days spent playing there with his brother and sister. He jumps up to the tree and thanks to the greater branches he is able to take a good look to the interior of the house. There he sees the child playing and his father replying to him.
He fights against the feeling that those people are intruders in his home. He tries to calm down when the memories of the night of the attack assault him, and he spends some time hidding in the branches, until the man takes his older son to the bed too.
He then whispers to the house.
"I hope you take better care of them that you took of us..."
He then jumps down the tree and back to the inn.
"Want to talk?"he hears a voice on his head while walking throught the streets of the city.
"Not really. That was a bad idea, I don't know what I was hoping to find there. "
"I can say that you are not a bad person... why do you do what you do?"
"I will find the responsible for what happened. I will kill him. I will kill them all. In the meantime. I will do what's necessary. The Blades have resources and in time they could help me find them."
"But.."
"Whatever is necessary"he repeats in an stubborn and cold tone. The soul on his ring remain silent for the rest of the way back to the inn.
Brayton wakes up the next day, making his way down towards the bar. “Need something hardy this morning.” Turning to the others when he sees them “we going watch our guy today?

The barmaid pours you an ale and slips a shot of something brown from a small bottle from the top shelf into it. It tastes like what you need.
((What are you guys doing? Anyone going to help Ruhvon at the warehouse? Or do you want to do something else? You know where this guy's house is and the restaurant he's been to visit. Eloise also knows where some of Sammus' business partners and competitors might be found.))
(I understood it as we were told what Ruhvon was taking a certain form, not the other stuff. Brayton will follow anyone that asks for help.) Brayton will go to the warehouse to unless otherwise told something else.
Rothnar will go to the restaurant to take a good look to their mark.
You head into the walled area in the centre of Nyalean. It's set slightly up a hill - likely to aid the defence of the original settlement. The roads here are paved with smooth stone and the buildings are generally attractive. Hanging baskets of flowers are common adornments on the outside of buildings and pleasant squares, parks and plazas are spread liberally. People here are dressed well and frequently are sat outside of cafes and taverns drinking and socialising.
After about twenty minutes, you find the Coiled Serpent. It's a posh restaurant set into wall which backs into a small rise in the ground and, as such, is partially underground. Outside the door is a large man in a smart suit. He looks like a cross between a bouncer and a host. The street is wide and there are a few other nice restaurants nearby as well as some upper end shops such as wine merchants and jewellers. It's difficult to see into the restaurant as it only has one doorway with a single small window on either side.
(I understood it as we were told what Ruhvon was taking a certain form, not the other stuff. Brayton will follow anyone that asks for help.) Brayton will go to the warehouse to unless otherwise told something else.
((Sure, you're welcome to say you went with Ruhvon or Rothnar as you wish, as you decided together where to go this morning. I'll assume you're with Ruhvon unless you say otherwise))
Brayton looks around at the other stores trying to figure out if there are more stores that are partially underground, specifically neighboring ones. Before he starts to walk around he will say “Difficult to get it from this angle. Maybe there is a backside for the workers. Other than that we might as well have a bite if they let us in.”
Rothnar will enter to the restaurant and sit on a table. He will look for one that he can put his back agaiinst one wall and can keep an eye on the entrance.

As you look along the street you see that all the businesses on this side of the road are set into the slope. Another path runs above them, parallel to the street you stand on, on a higher level with another promenade of shops there. It seems this was how whoever designed this area of Old Town chose to incorporate the slope of the ground into the architecture of the street - by building the businesses on this side of the street into the hill. The result is pleasant and unusual, which was likely the desired outcome. ((If you want to look around the rise for another entrance, you're welcome to))

As you walk toward the door purposefully, the bouncer steps in front of you holding a clipboard. He glances down at it and you see it's full of names and times. He addresses you politely, but with a tone that deliberately exerts authority and implies exclusivity. "Excuse me sirs, do you have a reservation?" He looks over the two of you briefly, noting your weapons. He doesn't seem concerned, but has clearly taken stock of you.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"No I do not. Is there any place free today? I've talked so much of your stablisment to my friend here. My father used to be a customer and always spoke well of you..."
It is the first time that the others know Rohtnar that he doesn't speak in more than a whisper and with a tone that usually makes the others uncomfortable. He seemed even... happy?
Deception: 3
Unfortunately he is not used to behave like a normal person and it's too clear that he is pretending.
The bouncer narrows his eyes at you. "I'm afraid we don't have any tables free today, we're booked until the middle of next week. We can make you a reservation if you like? What was your father's name?" From his demeanour, it seems as though he doesn't believe your story or that your father was a regular.
Brayton will indeed go onto the rise to look for another location. On his way though he will be walking and looking at another direction as he bumps into Rothnar. “Oh, Excuse me Mr. Reynolds. I didn’t see you there. M-my mind is always in the clouds.... well that’s what your father always said down in the shop. Before him and you hit it big that is! It’s been a while, how have you been? Please don’t tell your father I scuffed you’re shoe, I’m sure a new pair will cost three months of me wages. Sorry to bother you, enjoy your meal.” With that Brayton trots off to investigate.
The bouncer listens to Brayton's conversation with Rothnar, before addressing Rothnar directly. "Mr Reynolds? I can' say I know a Reynolds family... Are you new to Nyaleen?"
Brayton, you have to walk about fifty metres along the road before you find an ornate stairway leading to the top level. The rail is covered in beautiful climbing flowers. You climb up and return to the level of the upper walkway above the Coiled Serpent. This level has well maintained and cared for flowerbeds and bushes cut into ornate shapes of beasts, ships and buildings. The shops are similar to those you saw earlier on the lower level - posh and exclusive.
When you're over the Coiled Serpent, you nonchalantly scan the area. You're about to give up when you notice a wooden trap door concealed behind a bush in the shape of a dragon. At a glance, it appears to have a simple lock that would take a few seconds to crack with the right tools. The area around you contains a few people slowly moving in and out of shops. Everyone appears very leisurely and relaxed.

Ruhvon will continue to scurry around the warehouse, looking for a way inside. Once inside he will look/sniff around for anything that would indicate that Sammus may be up to any sort of illegal activities.
[Yes, he would inform the others... He will roam around as a gray and brown house cat.]
