“Sorry hun, i deal with ores ,gems and the occasional trinket, but i don’t craft them myself. I’m sure Linene or Elmar Barthens have all kind of wires though.
(For the sake of speed, lets just assume you spend an hour later and collect all material spell components you need free of charge, as long as they don’t have a specific value)
Sildar listens to NObodys reportbefore he replies to one point after the other: “I agree with Margret, you took the risk, you should get first share of the reward.” He looks at the pearl ring and moves it in front of Nobody: “This ring for example, this pearl should be big enough to be used in arcane magic to examine things. Of course i wont refuse any financial help, or if you find personal items, but rescuing those people and getting rid of those thugs for the moment is already an improvement for this village.” He passes all the other trinkets back to you as well.
He scans through the papers that Nobody gave him while continuing: “ I am planing to build up a local guard force and to set up a militia. To secure the Triboar Trail as well as the village. There are a good few reports here about Orc Raids to the south and east. Part of the resources to handle that i plan to acquire from the Lords Alliance in Neverwinter, but i think i can find a good use for some of those weapons. Also while i am talking about Neverwinter, the jail here is kind of small and not really suited to confine people for a longer time, so i was thinking to send Ree’lyn Ostran and Maltake to escort two of our three prisoners to Neverwinter, on theire way back they could bring more suplies back. Also that would split up the prisoners, i don’t feel comfortable with haveing them all in one spot, especialy if the leader or leaders are still on the loose. Moos already told me about the litle pack of hounds she found, i think they can be a good and relativly fast addition to the local security force.”
”As for you, i would like to ask you to look into this Cragmaw Castle, Gundren is hopefully still alive and imprisoned there. Unfortunately i don’t know this area either , but i am sure, if you ask the locals, they may be able to point you in the right direction. I would say rest for today and ask around the village about the castle. Wich leads me to my next point, earlier today i meet three ‘adventurers’ here in the inn, i send them on a small errand for today. So if you research today and then go to find the castle tomorrow, those three may be able to join you.”
Just a reminder that you wanted to do more then shopping, before you run around like Scooby Doo.
“ Never heard of it, but i must admit i only know the mountains. If you need a guide for the Neverwinter woods, i would suggest Falcon. He is a hunter who earns a living by showing rich people around the forrest, he’s the best guide i could think of. His hunting lodge is deep inside the forest near the banks of the river. Usually people from Neverwinter follow the river until they reach his house, but there is also a trail going north from the Triboartrail. As for maps, i sold my last one this morning to the three lads who where running an errand for the new Sherif. “
(You already do have a general map of the area from Gundren. Also i will add the location of Falcoons Hunting lodge to the map in the Campaign thread.)

(I'll ask the locals that we shopped as we shop the same question about the castle then go back to the Inn give No his components and bed time spending time with both my bow my greatsword and resomininig my bat)
On your shoping tour you hear the following stories.
Sister Garaele: north of the destroyed village of Connyberry exists a banshee called Agatha. Banshees are undead Elfs. She has milenials of knowledge about this region. Flatter her vanity and you may be able to trade something for the information you seek. Sister Garaele tried to trade a jeweled silver comb, created by a great Elven artist to find out what happened to the spellbook of the legendary mage Bowgentle. Unfortunately Agatha didn’t appear for Garaele. She still needs to find the spellbook, but is willing to give you the comb as a thank you for getting rid of the Redbrands.
Barthen: Raidoth, an elven druid visits the village from time to time, he would know where the castle is. But Elmar didn’t see him for nearly a month. Last time he saw him, was in the Stonehill inn, where he was talking with Thel Dendrar.
Halia: find Falcon the Ranger he may be able to lead you to Cragmaw Castle
Linene: Darren Edermath, a former adventurer lives here in the village. He owns an Orchard, he may know something.
Also because of the recent troubles with bandits and goblins raiding merchants towards Neverwinter and with Orcs blocking the passes towards Triboar, more exotic supplies are scarce. Neither do you find any herbs or incense nor does anyone got any better armor for sale then what you got at the moment. But with the traveling west to Neverwinter open again, thinks can be organized again, it will take about half a week though.
Elmar also pointed you to someone who could repair the damaged studded leather armor you got (or any other damaged leather armor).
Darren Edermath is an old white haired half elf. He greets you friendly and invites you inside for a tea. He doesn’t seam to be bothered by having a Goblin in his livingroom. He doesn’t know the location of Cragmaw Castle, but he knows that it was part of the same defense line as the wizard tower at Old Owls Well. That Tower is only a ruin now, but maybe you can still find some information there. (I think i already marked that one on the Map.)
Margret looks distant "Thank you for the tea Mr Edermath I know its rude to ask how old one is, but were you around when that tower was whole? Could you tell us its story?"
She looks on with interest like a child trying to learn or a short lived race looking to a longlived race wondering about the secret of longevity
"Maybe, some of your story I heard you were a great adventurer. We have time no one here has any herbs or Incense to buy."
He chuckles a bit: “Oh Dear, i think you mistake my pointy ears for those of an Elf. I am only aproaching 180 years. But even if i were a pure blooded elf, it would be before my time. You see, when Karsus Foley destroyed the Weave and brought the floating cities of Netheril down it also made physical strongholds viable and neccesarry. Those two structures are part of that era when Netheril struggled to survive, but ultimately failed. They are around 1500 years old. Why are you looking for the castle anyway?”
The goblin's face turns into a toothy smile as he states proudly, "Zurzg want to kill big boss King Grol." He resumes his previously activity, suspiciously examining a cup of tea poured for him by their host.
Darren raises an eyebrow and looks at you: " A king? So tell me Goblin, if there is a king, are there retainers as well, soldiers, animals? How does he feed them? Does this king comunicate with alies and does he send patrols to look after the land? You see, the bigger a group is, the harder it is to hide for them. Maybe instead of looking for the castle itself, you will have a better chance to hunt down some scouts or hunting parties? "
"Well, if time is of the essences and if you got no other leads, i would sugest go and hunt some goblin scouts and question them or track them." turning to Zurzg, he adds: "No offence."
If she dosn't then Margret says thank you and moves on to Thymoras shrine

Fist person I ask is Halia
"Oh one more thing Halia since you know more about the lay of the land I assume. Where is Cragmaw Castle? And would you have a map?"

"Zurzg wonders if tiefling is finished with his magic book?" The goblin looks over his shoulder as the three of them head towards the orchard.
"He seemed intent on a hard study 'he'll be awhile I guess"

Killing a king? Margret thinks to herself maybe.....
"That's good advice, I wonder..
You see Mr Edermath we're seeking to free Rockseeker, my friends former employer."
