Tangle lets out an exasperated sigh. “He will never just wait for the enemy to be cut down, will he? I will cover you if you wish to approach as well.”
Feeling as though he’s learned his lesson, Bazavur stays near Soar and Tangle. “I’m not gonna try and cross this stupid thing again. I’ve nearly fallen into the pit twice.” Calling out to Jalt, “maybe we should let them cross over to us?”
Jalt points his staff at the yuan-ti and casts Guiding Bolt lvl 2 at the yuan-ti Attack: 14 Damage: 14 and using Guided Strike add 10 to the attack roll
Move slowly across the bridge, there are a couple on the other sideJalt yells
With his bonus action, Jalt will attack with the Spiritual weapon... Attack: 25 Damage: 7
Jalt, you feel a warmth in your soul as the divine magic is guided towards its target - it seems that the spiritual weapon draws the bolt, and then as it attacks it also redirects the bolt onto the yuan-ti. The strange snake creature hisses as both attacks hit home.
You hear some movement, footsteps backing away ahead of you.
Tangle grumbles beneath her breath. Then she releases the pull on her bow, and moves out onto the bridge. She moves at a normal speed, trying to keep her feet on the slippery surface…
Dex Save for a regular (30’) move: 24
…and ends up just past Jalt, surefootedly, looking for enemies down the stairs.
(If she sees a target she will shoot, otherwise, she will again Ready a shot.)
Tangle smiles a little smile, drawing her bow, eyes on the yuan-ti, and shoots.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Forty feet brings you next to the Guardian of Faith. You still have your action and bonus action. You see the yuan-ti and three lizardfolk. You also see stairs descending further, past where the enemy creatures are waiting, as well as a passage leading south (left on the map).
Holding on to the rope as he crosses the bridge, much more carefully than he has on his previous attempts. He turns back to Soar, “I’ve got this end of the rope if you want to cross now.” He looks back towards the ‘bad guys’ and then back to Soar. “There’s some beings over here that need smite… smote… smoten…” He lets the thought trail off not sure of exactly the right way to phrase it. He stands ready, bracing himself against the wall should Soar tumble off the edge while she attempts to cross the bridge.

The weapon hits the lizardfolk, bashing into his shoulder and forcing him back a step.

Tangle is up. Tangle cannot see the enemies - you will need to get level with Jalt in order to do so.
Tangle lets out an exasperated sigh. “He will never just wait for the enemy to be cut down, will he? I will cover you if you wish to approach as well.”
She will maintain her Ready action some more.

Soar looks at Tangle, eyes very wide in an “I know, right?!?!??” sort of expression.
One Yuan-Ti stands just beyond the range of the guardian sees Jalt, and draws a longbow back, loosing two arrows:
Attack: 7 Damage: 9 piercing plus 5 poison damage.
Attack: 16 Damage: 10 piercing plus 5 poison damage.
The first one hits, I believe?
The yuan-ti remains where it is.
Bazavur is up.
Feeling as though he’s learned his lesson, Bazavur stays near Soar and Tangle. “I’m not gonna try and cross this stupid thing again. I’ve nearly fallen into the pit twice.” Calling out to Jalt, “maybe we should let them cross over to us?”
(dodge action I guess)
The visible lizardfolk launches a javelin at Jalt:

Attack: 15 Damage: 7 minus 2 for Bane.
It skitters along the bridge, missing Jalt and coming to rest near Tangle's feet. The lizardfolk then backs away, below the point where Jalt can see.
Soar is up. As mentioned, Soar cannot see any of the enemies from where she is currently standing. She can see Jalt, and the Guardian of Faith.
Soar squints at the other side of the bridge, and readies an eldritch blast for the first enemy she sees across the way.
Blast 1: 17 Damage: 5
Blast 2: 27 Damage: 17
She mutters to Tangle, "I don't trust my feet on that bridge right now."
Soar, no enemy enters you line of sight.
Round Four:

Jalt
Tangle
Bazavur

Soar

If the lizardfolk do anything, none of you can see it.
Jalt is up. You can see one enemy only, a single yuan-ti standing near your spiritual weapon.
Jalt points his staff at the yuan-ti and casts Guiding Bolt lvl 2 at the yuan-ti Attack: 12 Damage: 20
add 10 to attack roll due to Guided Strike
Move slowly across the bridge, there are a couple on the other side Jalt yells
With his bonus action, Jalt will attack with the Spiritual weapon...
Hoard of the Dragon Queen - Jalt Rhogar - Dragonborn Cleric (9)
"Ive heard it both ways."

Yuan-ti's Deception: 11
The arrow hits the snake-headed creature in its man-shaped torso.
The yuan-ti looks over at Tangle, and speaks in common:
Drop your weapon, and return to the surface by the way you came.
Make a WIS save with advantage (as this is a charm effect).
Tangle’s wisdom save: 9

Tangle, you find yourself under a Suggestion spell, and will pursue this course of action - on your next turn.
Bazavur is up.
Muttering under his breath Bazavur begins making his way slowly across the bridge. (However far that will be. Movement speed is normally 40 ft)
Dex save(straight roll): 16
