"So nothing about the kind or age of it then? I may know how to swing a weapon of anytype but I do not think me or this group can take on a truly old dragon." Rekuberk says as he crosses his arm in throught.
(OCC If nothing happen during the night that requires Krom's attention, I will perform the following action)
Krom after the night's rest will cast on his warhammer the "Blessing of the Forge" (warhammer is now considered a magical weapon +1 - +1 to attack and damage - It will last until the next long rest).
As the evening progresses the Roadhouse empties as patrons return back to their caravans to rest for the night. Eventually the party splits up and those that have rooms head to them while the others go outside to sleep under the stars.
The next morning dawns with a cool mist from the mere settled over the area. You gather together and a few inquiries later locate Dale the caravan master. A tall human in leathers and a short sword belted to his hip. He's eager to hire you all on as guards, 1 gold piece per day includes meals. Kazri mentions having someone scout and he lets you know he already has that covered.
"I've got a couple outriders already that stay ahead of the wagons, they have swift horses, I've already sent them ahead. The road is getting safer with Neverwinter rebuilding. The road to Phandalin is a couple days from here, most of a days travel north of Leilon. We'll push through to be in Leilon tonight and I'll off load some cargo, but then I'm headed to Neverwinter. But you can get off when we get to the Triboar Trail tomorrow. I'll be good after that. I might pick up a couple extra guards in Leilon since I'll lose the six of you, but once we get closer to Neverwinter I'm not too worried anymore, the High Road is fairly safe north of the Triboar Trail. It's just this area near the Sword Mountains I'm really worried about. And this word of a dragon, it's unsettling. Lost a couple guards to that rumor so I'll be happy to be in Leilon tonight. Find a place on the wagons and enjoy the ride."
He climbs up onto the lead wagon and you see a heavy crossbow hangs near his seat. There are 8 wagons total in the caravan and each wagon has a driver while 4 have someone riding shotgun, armed with heavy crossbows.
You each find spots on wagons and the caravan moves out, headed north.
Its a long day filled mostly with boredom. Most of the guards you get the chance to speak to don't believe the word rumors of the dragon, yet it is a topic that is most talked about. Late that day you make your way into Leilon.
This small town along the High Road is in the midst of rebuilding itself after being abandoned for years. Its inhabitants hail from Neverwinter and are in the paid service of the city’s Lord Protector, who has tasked them with turning Leilon into a fortified settlement that can ward off threats from the Mere of Dead Men. The opportunity to do some quick shopping exists. The local shops can provide any of the basic supplies and weapons/armor needed.
If you wish to get any supplies in Leilon go ahead and make your purchases, costs are in the PHB, anything from the basic adventuring gear can be found here. Just make a note in the thread that you went shopping, what you bought and how much you spent and make the changes to your character sheet. You can also sell any unneeded stuff for 1/2 the cost to buy it.
The following day it is late in the afternoon when you arrive at the crossroads of the High Road and the Triboar Trail. Dale stops the caravan and pays you each 2gp for your work as guards.
"The road to Phandalin is about 20 miles down the Triboar Trail. Then maybe another 10 miles to the town. You could walk it in a day, but its getting late in the afternoon now. Good luck ta ya."
The caravan then sets off again north towards Neverwinter.
You find yourselves standing at the crossroads, just the six of you. You don't see anyone else moving on the roads. Its now mid afternoon.

"So, do we start now and get a couple hours walking in before making camp or rest now and set out in the morning? Whatever we decide to do, I can scout ahead."
There are several moments in which Rhogar ahs and nods his head. Out of half of which it is clear he didn't know of such places, or properly even understand perhaps. And yet, he doesn't press for details; only laugh at the mention of being a half-dragon. "I am afraid you offend him by comparing us, friend Tabaxi. I, am, Dragonborn! A people with many origin stories if you of a mind to listen. Most of them having draconic ties, as you can probably guess. HaHA! But yes, I do know a bit of magic! Comes with being a dragonborn, after all. Or at least so is the case for my clan, and those dwelling up in Tymanthor, or so I head once!"His toothy smile soon turns into a contemplative look off to the side.
"I am afraid I'll have to leave the demonstrations for the next day, however. It is rather late, and even I, as impressive a specimen as I am, need my rest."He claps Chill on the shoulder. "See you then, friend. And may Vixixx watch over your dreams."After giving him a few more pats, the dragonborn gets up to find either room or arrange it with the orcish runner of the roadhouse if not previously paid for.

Maybe will find a much better spot than this one along the way. OR even someone in trouble who could use a few strong hands, eh?"He chuckles, looking ever bit excited to go as he sounded in the moment. But he wouldn't march ahead without letting Chill do his thing at least.
