<< No I haven't. And I don't like it to be honest. To me, this place looks like exwctly the place for ambushing unsuspecting travelers. We should keep an eye open and hope those dwarfes are still around and not hostile to strangers>>
Waltyr gives a knowing nod as the sense of worry takes hold. "Glad we have a decent group here with us to hopefully avoid an ambush," he says in quiet tone.
Two dwarves emerge from behind a 10 foot wall near the back of the small ruined settlement. "Fame and fortune, eh? Don't have much in our back pockets." says one of them gruffly. The other says, "Don't mind him, but you all look a lot better armed than we are, and well, we're concerned you've come to take what is ours."

Herman usually enjoys the open space and the wildernesses.
He enjoyed the trip: the sky was clear of clouds and especially of dragons.
He does not interveen but he does not jump for joy thinking about going underground...and to hunt what?
What, dwarves?! gooey?! What do you mean? Anyway, you know, unlike you, we don't see at all underground: we will need torches or lamps: can you help us with that?
ooc: I don't understand if I want to add something about trade for a bigger reward. How many are these stones? Just a couple or more couples?
"More than the most valuable thing we own? I guess we could throw in our mining equipment, waterskins and rations. Welp, I guess that's fair. Leave us destitute with no way to finish the job."
"What my friend here is trying to say is, we don't have much else right now. Now we can negotiate on the price of anything valuable you find. By mining rights, any treasure you encounter in their is still 100% ours, but we'd be willing to give you a generous commission of 50%."

We don't know their numbers and without ligth this will become a death trap for us. Maybe you could provide a more Details description of these creatures, how many of them you have seen, maybe a map of the Tunnel System, reliable light sources, anything would be appreciated.>>
