(OOC - I'm assuming that Leann has run out of the Darkness Spell cast by the Drider since otherwise this would be fruitless.)
At the South edge of the Darkness spell, Leann looks out toward the Well house and sees some sort of yellowish smoke around the door of the Well house. It does not shift with the wind and appears to be spreading around the Outside of the Well house, making its way steadily in the direction of the party.
OOC - Leann could definitely discover further information about the mist with a certain Paladin Class Feature. There really isn't much else that is going to inform her at this very moment.
Keeping the cloth carefully balanced over the figurine, Leann is able to inspect the webs that have grown from it, coating her hand and arm. They appear to be almost melted or rooted into her skin, which would explain the sharp pain that had wreaked havoc on her nervous system upon touching the figurine. The strands appear to writhe and pulse with some sort of magical energy. Blades and bludgeoning seem to have no effect on the evil web imprisoning the figurine within her hand.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Baku enters again through the darkness as she tries to find the wounded drider while Ashissa readies another beam of of crackling energy waiting for the monstrosity once she finds where it is within the obscured space or if it shows its face when it releases another flurry of attacks.
As Ashissa steps into the Great Hall, she sights the Drider near the back. It has jumped down from the rafters behind a crate and is taking the opportunity to smash several other crates. From what Ashissa can see of the wreckage, they are all crates marked with the Red Symbol.
She releases her Blast and it screams across the distance hitting the Drider square between the shoulder blades.
It turns its head to look at her and lets out an unearthly howl. "You are becoming very troublesome, little one!"
Tunist has successfully dragged Erin's body to the base of the lighthouse and is barking wildly, spittle flying everywhere in great arcs as she exerts herself.
The 3 Guards on the North side of the battle run around the Darkness to the South, making sure to give it a wide berth and go nowhere near the Great Hall. They reach the two Southern guards and sigh with relief.
Golhern and Twinly (the South guards you all met besides Ashissa) give quick greeting to the others as they turn toward the Hall and make a defensive formation around Kat, Twinly and Golhern taking the front as the 2 Rangers and Bard from the North take up the rear.
Golhern mutters to the others as he sees Ashissa enter the Hall alone. "Crazy magic woman is going to get herself killed... anyone have a plan here, we need that thing dead, but going in there seems like a terrible strategy."
Kat squeezes the bridge of her nose and takes a deep breath. "We can't just leave her... Twinly, Jimmer, go see what Tunist is barking about. Perhaps she's discovered a way into the tower."
Twinly and Jimmer, the fighter and a ranger, will hold actions to protect the hound at the tower.
"Golhern, Quinn and Dahm, with me!"The two rangers, Bard and Kat run down the entrance of the Hall.
Dahm the Bard sees the Drider again and closes his eyes, maintaining his concentration on the Monster, heating its sword to a burning touch. Opening his eyes again, he sings a simple phrase in Common, laughing at the last word as another of his mediocre rhymes crosses his lips - "Your Queen cares nothing for you, spidery little pest. You are nothing but a wretched fool, certainly not the best!"
Viscious Mockery - on Hit 3 Psychic + Disadvantage on Drider's next attack
Drider WIS save - 5
Golhern and Quinn unleash a volley of arrows as one, sharp points careening toward the Spider Beast.
Golhern - Attack: 7 Damage: 11
Quinn - Attack: 7 Damage: 10
Kat spends seconds in silent concentration before roaring authoritatively at the Drider once more -
The Drider looks up at the Bard, a spidery look of dismay crossing its features. It lets out a groan, almost a lament and pulls its limbs further into its body, looking more fragile.
The two arrows fly by it harmlessly, one lodging into a crate nearby, the other glancing off the wall and snapping in half.
As Kat speaks, the look of confusion on the Drider's face turns to blank terror. It shakes on its remaining seven legs in defiance before collapsing to the ground in the most uncomfortable fashion, its humanoid torso bending painfully to lay prostrate before its spider form, face in the dirt and whimpering.
"Mistress, I am yours" it says through the dirt and spittle, each word bringing it pain.
Anyone who was bothering to look (besides Hadar, unless he exits the Darkness) would see the Yellowish Mist begin to thicken and creep out, expanding into a much larger cloud at the front of the Well house.
"The Mist" may now make actions between the Drider and Hadar's turns.
A low gurgling escalates into an ear-shattering screech as a the mist belches forth a wet lump before it, the 4 foot bloated and bloody round mass coming to a rest before Leann's feet.
A large, wet eye sits at one end of the visceral thing, and it twitches to look up at Leann, expressionless. Random clumps of disgusting, stringy fur appear along its length, and it squirms as if trying to move.
(Leann's so excited she's jumping Hadar in initiative? LOL. I'm bored so I'll allow it, sorry Hadar)
Leann's sword slices cleanly into the mass, cutting almost completely through it. The eye dulls and talon-tipped fingers dig frantically around the incision of the mass, before weakening and falling limp.
Darkness falls around her as she steps back, the sun shining once more as she covers her hand with the cloth, standing well away from the bloody lump.
The Mist seems to shift and ripple as the flesh-pod falls into ruin and a hollow rumble, more of a sound than a feeling shakes Leann's body for a split second.
His movement speed is still at 40ft, unless he has a disadvantage to that, as well. ugh.
This whole Drider business was getting tiresome, so Hadar (contemplating his entire existence and finding it wanting) decides to let the others sort it out.
As the only sense he has that is still in working order is his hearing, he gets up and hurriedly follows the sound of Tunist voice. He'll use his shield to help cushion the blow if he runs into anything.
Hadar rushes out of the Darkness, completely unaware of what he'll find, shield in hand. Nearly missing Leann and somehow managing not to trip on the bloody little egg-lump, he easily reaches the Light house door just behind Kat, Jimmer and Twinly.
He sees the odd mist near the Well house as he heads South, but without any context it doesn't really register much for him right off hand.
Tunist looks up at the four of them, relieved and begins nosing the Lightmaster's corpse, shifting it back and them forth towards them. Stopping only to wine and yip, her entire body is tense and bouncing with excitement.
Hadar can still take some sort of action beyond movement this turn of course.
25 feet due Northeast of the tower, Leann stands vigil after her strange encounter.
An extremely uncomfortable 15 feet to the West, the mist puffs and ripples.
Hadar takes a quick look around and decides the dog is his best option. So, he grabs Erin's body and drags it to the door, saying to Tunist, "I really hope this is what you want." When he gets there, he'll press it against the door.

Does she recognize anything about the smoke or mist or whatever it is? What sort of check do you want for it?
Leann's next action would be to see if she can get the figurine off of her hand. Can she cut the webs with a dagger?
