((BTW I'm going to be out of the country next week with little/no chance of posting. Please feel to do my actions/rolls))
( Got it, I'm working on a group project with some lazy teamates, so hopefully when we hand it in monday I can go back to daily checks.)
Sihnion throws his lizardy frame into the water, rope in mouth.
Most everyone gets through, by latching onto this rope, except Tamoda, who once again swam through on his own power. As you surface, you see the Apex has been in the center of the room, watching the pool.
The beast stomps its forelegs in sequence, digging into the ground, and lets out a fierce roar, shaking the cave.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ahkota runs forward, using his bonus action to grant bardic inspiration to Thasla, before striking at your foe, the Apex Lizard with his rapier.
Ahkota: ATK: 24 DMG: 8
Xandar: ATK: 16 DMG: 5
Ahkota's sword stabs into the beast's foreleg, drawing some blood. Xandar tries to provide cover fire and fires of a shot with his crossbow, which glances harmlessly off the Apex's thick hide

The Apex lunges forward and attacks, demanding recompense.
ATK: 13 DMG: 14
ATK: 8 DMG: 13
The Apex swipes at Thasla with a wicked claw, but Thasla managed to duck under the blow, and when she goes in to bite at Ahkota, she slips on a patch of wet rock and falls Prone
Grim and Tamoda's blows sink deep into the flesh of their foe, leaving a deep cut and massive bruise respectively.
The bloodied Apex howls in pain, and steam begins to pour out of it's open wounds, it's body temperature rising. (Anyone within 5 feet of the Apex must make a DC 12 CON save at the start of their turn, taking 1d4 fire damage on a failure.)
