Zubin takes quick stock of the situation. The first serpent is dead; the second has just crushed the zombie, which the half-elf is fine with; the third is crushing Ethan, which he is NOT fine with. Zubin is too far away to join the melee just yet, so he advances to 10' away and with his shortbow takes careful aim at the offending serpent.

Opal strikes at the snake fighting Ethan, wounding it with two significant cuts of her blades.
Shieldbiter moves in on the other snake, slicing in with his blades, missing his first attack, but leaving a deep wound on the second.
Rik mocks the snake Shieldbiter is facing... Snake Wis save: 14
The same snake gets hit by Sinsil's mind sliver attack... Snake Int save: 4
Ethan strikes at the snake before him... Attack: 21 Damage: 8
He also has the sphere of fire move back and then slam into the snake again... 6 fire damage. Snake save: 22
Zubin takes out the snake fighting Ethan and Opal... (Let me know how you came up with 27 damage though... The snake was low on HP, so it would have gone down anyway.)
(Larry's turn... Need an action. Cas, if you are still around, need action from you as well...)

He'll need to confirm, but this looks like sneak attack lumped with base damage. His total possible damage without critical is 28 1d6+4 + 3d6 so looks like it was just a high roll.

I did lump my sneak attack with the regular damage. 1d6+4+3d6. 24 is crazy high, though; I wish I could do that more often!
There is only one snake left... Anyone with a passive perception score greater than 12 would notice that the apes above are looking more agitated, and that a far bigger shape has joined them.. It looks like a seriously massive ape, standing with the others near the hole in the ceiling.
“Hey guys, we need to finish this quick, because we may have larger problems at hand,” Shieldbiter says as he points up to the hole in the ceiling at the ape.
Sinsil, seeing the ape, will use her extract name as a bonus action on the giant ape. dc 15 int save or charmed for a round and Sinsil learns its name.
As an action she'll cast Bane on the apes, using her Fateful Naming to cast it without using a spell slot. Same dc.

Zubin is so thrilled to see the giant ape. "Great. Just great." He nocks another arrow and looses at the serpent. "On the other hand, he'll be hard to miss."
Rik hadn't noticed the Giant Ape until Shieldbiter shouted out, and will squeak in surprise himself, before adding "Do you think it considers itself a humanoid? Probably not, I'd imagine"
He'll cast Hypnotic Pattern - Wis16 save for everything in a 30ft cube. He tries to get as many of the smaller apes on the ceiling as possible, but focuses on the giant ape. On a failure, they're charmed and incapacitated.
"Don''t hit the ones that aren't doing anything! I can't control them if they take damage!"

"They haven't done anything yet guys, for all we know, we are redeeming their friends here (Shieldbiter kicks some bones). I'm all about precautions, but maybe we deal with the thing in front of us first?" Shieldbiter states as he moves out of the way of the slithering snake and goes for another attack.
Shieldbiter, encouraged by one snake already being destroyed goes in for the next snake.
Attack 1: 13 Damage: 10
Attack 2: 12 Damage: 8
Rik will cast vicious mockery on whichever looks least injured - Wis16 save for 5

Ethan is not grappled by the snake, the snake missed both attacks.
Thought his AC was 18, not 19. My bad. Zubin will target that serpent anyway.

Bonus shortsword attack: 16; damage: 3 piercing damage
