Perception 15
You briefly spot a dark blur inside the house of mirrors after all the police have left. It seems to turn to face you, and seemingly has glowing yellow eyes. After half a second, it vanishes.
Perception 20
The blur was on a mirror itself. Judging by positioning, you should have been able to also see the source of it in the hallway, but you remember it remaining empty. The blur is gone after looking a second time, leading you to wonder if your eyes are playing tricks on you.
10:00 Sunday, July 9, 2017
The crowd gathering at the house of mirrors largely dissipates. The police as well as some journalists for local TV stations arrive and do their thing. The police speak with the woman and proceed to enter the house of mirrors armed with flashlights. They discover the source of the darkness -- a popped fuse -- and flip it back on to restore light to the building.
After completing their search, the woman goes into hysterics, "What do you mean he isn't in there? He has to be! I've been watching this whole time and nobody's left, and he isn't responding on his phone!"
The journalists, sensing a story, proceed to interview the girl and set their cameras rolling.
Over at the café, a breaking news report comes in on the television screen. The sound is off so exactly what is being said cannot be made out, however the title says "Missing Person" and shows what appears to be the house of mirrors at the fairgrounds behind the reporter.
(Feel free to do whatever you need to do, and we'll fast-forward to the concert tonight if everyone's good. I'm assuming Rhodri will be one of the performers and the others will be in attendance. Up to you if you want to figure out a way for Brady to meet up with the others or not before that point, it doesn't matter either way plot-wise at this time.)

(Perception: 12) Brady watches as the news vans arrive. His heart strings feel the tug of the woman's pain, something he was familiar with in his line of work. He approached her, making sure his white collar was in place. "Hello, I am Father Brady, I overheard the crashing sound and, well if you'd like I'd like to pray with you." he held out his hand comfortingly so that she may take it if she wished.
The woman looks up at Brady and says "I... thank you. I'm scared and confused and don't know what's going on." She stays briefly to calm down a little bit, and then proceeds to leave.
20:00 Sunday, July 9, 2017
As it starts to become evening, the concert starts getting underway. The seating in the amphitheater fills up to about 80% capacity, and many businesses nearby have views of the stage as well.
(@Rhodri: feel free to describe your performance in as little or as much detail as you would like, including whether or not there are other performers (either onstage with you or as other acts). @Everyone else: please let me know where you are/what you're doing during this time.)
Lily enjoys the evening with the other two girls, with her meal and several rounds of alcohol. Despite her rather supple build, she holds her drinks surprisingly better than most, like she's been doing this for quite a bit of time. She has a chance to share with the other two that she's an artist, that she just returned abroad with a degree in Graphics Design, and that she was here following up on an internship that she took a few months ago.
"I do admit," Lily says as she finishes her fourth glass of wine. "I do like traditional art better than drawing on a tablet. Feeling the paper beneath my fingers, the texture of the pencil and the deep, smooth strokes of a pen... it's so varied and incredible compared to the bland, slippery surface of a stylus and a screen."
"Not many companies nowadays are looking for traditional artists though," she sighs and glances away to the concert. "So you have to adapt with the times."
It's just Rhodri and his instrumental backup. Said instrumental backup consists of a harpist, a flutist, a bagpiper, a pianist, a drummer, and a fiddler.
The concert is as follows:
Awakening (voice and fiddle, slow)
When You Go (voice and fiddle, moderately fast)
Orinoco Flow (voice and fiddle, moderately fast)
Bean Pháidín (voice and fiddle, fast)
My Land (voice and fiddle, slow)
The obligatory Danny Boy (voice and fiddle, slow)
Newgrange (voice and bodhran, medium)
Dúlaman (voice and bodhran, moderately fast)
Beyond the Sea (voice and fiddle, moderately slow)
Tír na nÓg (voice and fiddle, fast)
Mo Ghile Mear (voice and fiddle, moderately fast)
Isle of Innisfree (voice and fiddle, slow)
Caledonia (voice and fiddle, slow)
Valparaiso (voice and fiddle, medium)
Ride On (voice and fiddle, moderately slow)
Westering Home (voice and fiddle, moderately fast)
The Parting Glass (voice and fiddle, medium, grand finale, audience participation)

Charlotte nodded along, following the conversation as best she could. Still underage, she also avoids alcoholic beverages during her time with Elsie and Lily. When the topic turned to college degrees, she brightened up a bit, happy to share her current study. "I'm currently pursuing a Biochemistry degree. I'm not sure what I'm planning on going into, but it's fun and I enjoy it. A lot of work, though," Charlotte laughed nervously, remembering her paper. It'll be fine, she thought to herself, prepared to blow off the paper for a few more hours at least.
"Biochemistry?"Lily blinks back to Charlotte. "Oh wow, that's incredible! I remember taking a couple of chemistry classes in high school and absolutely hated it."She chuckles softly and fixes her hair.
"Too many rigid formulas, too many fine-tuned steps. I liked the projects where I could be a bit more creative and artistic, but I like being able to toy with my subjects. Something where I can't personally contribute to in my own unique way is something I'm really not interested in."
"I can definately see why you enjoy it though," she smiles back to her. "You seem like a girl who'd be really interested in science and creation."

Charlotte Only:
You see a figure off in the distance in the fairgrounds, barely lit. The figure looks like the friend you were going to meet up with, which is unusual as you got a text message a couple of hours ago saying they felt ill and would be unable to come after all. Looking around, it seems Lily and Elsie left you while you were turned away. You fall silent, seemingly unable to speak, as you feel a strange urge to meet up with and follow them. They stay in the shadows, always staying in front of you and never letting you catch up, until they duck into the darkened house of mirrors.
Rhodri Only:
While packing your things away, you see a figure off in the fairgrounds, barely lit, but you can tell they are waving at you to come over. They look like your flutist, which is odd as you were all just together. As you look around, you see that all of your instrumental backup has seemingly abandoned you as they are nowhere to be found. You don't remember them leaving. You fall silent, seemingly unable to speak, as you feel a strange urge to meet up with and follow them. They stay in the shadows, always staying in front of you and never letting you catch up, until they duck into the darkened house of mirrors.
Everyone else: You see Charlotte stand up without a word and proceed to run into the fairgrounds, which have since closed down for the night. Rhodri comes out from the stage and follows her as well. Neither seems to acknowledge each other.
OOC: You probably should have put the "Everyone Else" section in a spoiler, because I now more-or-less know what's going on. And don't I get a saving throw?

Good point, sorry. You did get a save (as did everyone else); I rolled it on your behalf for expediency's sake (it's in the DM screen spoiler)
Elsie looks around, raising an eyebrow, nudging Lily. She takes a sip of her soda and cracks her neck gently to the side, shrugging her shoulders.
"She seemed a nice girl... odd of her to leave randomly like that. Maybe she took a liking to that singer."
Elsie grins and sips again, placing her glass back down on the table and putting her chin in her hands while turning to Lily.
"I'm happy for you, you know?"

"Charlotte?"Lily asks, but receives no response as she simply rises up and leaves. She calls her name again, but still, watches the girl leave as if she never heard her. She might have better luck talking to a brick wall at this point.
She frowns back to Elsie. "Yeah, it... it is awfully strange," she admits. A small smile crosses Lily's lips at Elsie's question, but she doesn't respond to it. She had bigger questions on her mind at the moment. Like why the stranger they just met suddenly felt compelled to stand up and walk away. Lily stands up herself, pays the bill at the table before wiping her lips with a napkin.
"Come on Elsie,"she whispers, as she crouches down and begins stalking after Charlotte. "Let's go find out what she's doing. There's gotta be a reason why she left us all of a sudden."
Since it is evening / nighttime, Lily will stick in the shadows and behind cover. In darkness, she's impossible to see, but could be heard.

She smirks again, but a tinge of worry crosses her face. She stands next to her for a second, eyes scanning the crowd as she looks around trying to pick up anomalies, as her father trained her to do, a quick 360 scan giving her purview of the area.

"Like you wouldn't mind," Lily teases softly from a darkened alleyway. "Bet you'd absolutely love to 'snog' with a cute guy in a corner somewhere."
She moves slow off the main path as Elsie takes the main road. Lily keeps her eyes glued on her, making sure she wasn't going to lose Charlotte in the darkness of the Chicago streets.
