He is just walking through town, peeking into any door that he comes across, where his companions may have gone. I believe there is the townhall and the general store left, correct? He would not stop back at the tavern, since he would not expect anyone to be there, after agreeing to go and talk to people and meet up at the edge of town, or at least that is what Leon agreed to do. He is on his way out of town now, just poking his head into the general store and townhall to collect anyone not done talking yet. If he doesn't find some of the group, he would expect they either are waiting at the edge of town or have decided not to come with for whatever reason. In Leon's mind they were just doing a quick check with the locals, then leaving town, so not expecting to take more than 5 to 10 minutes.

"You two ready then?" Leon asks as he spots the two talking to a pretty-enough human woman. "Let's head out, others must be waiting at the edge of town, or have decided not to join us." He adds on as he heads to leave town. "Did you two find out anything?" He asks as they walk. "The smith was not at all helpful, so I fear I may have wasted our time..."

The store keep says " How is the smithy doing?" She looks at you like she has something bad going on in her mind lol
Leaning into the table intently looking Trystan directly in the eyes with her cold faceless mask "What do your people like to do for fun? I recently learn about chess, I have not played it though."
"Chess is nice, a good game to know in society. I personally prefer Tak. Maybe I'll teach you some day. My people find all kind of things fun, from drinking and gambling to travelling and fighting."
"Ok... well... goodbye then!" Zak awkwardly leaves the store after the storekeeper answers Tolroc's questions. He isn't sure if Tolroc might want to buy something but Zak definitely needed to get out of that store.
Zak then sees Leon coming "Oh hi Leon! Sorry about before I am not sure if we met - I'm Zak." Zak is a bit frightened of Leon as he's never seen a Gith before but he seems very friendly.
"Nope... the storekeeper didn't know really anything about the Citadel. At this point I'm thinking we might just have to head there and see what is there for ourselves! See if we can't find some of those apples."
Zak looks to Tolroc and Leon again"Shall we go meet up with the others? Maybe they've found out more than us"
"Seemed fine." Leon says. he gives her a nod as he turns and heads away with the two.
To Zak and Tolroc...
"We'll see if any of them are waiting for us." Leon says, walking towards the edge of town and planning on heading directly to the Sunless Citadel from there. "I haven't seen any other than you two so far, but let's hope the others are waiting for us..."

He says " Well lads, I will leave you to it. Hope you all have a safe journey."
Tolroc will respond to the shopkeeper, "Hmmm. Perhaps he was just trying to throw some business your way. I'll buy five days of rations for now. Thank you very much for your help!"
He'll pay the price for the rations.
Turning to Zak and Leon after getting his rations, "I am ready to go! Let's stop by the inn real quick to gather the others and then head out."
On the way, Tolroc will chat up Leon, "Zak was telling me about his life growing up in this area. I have never met a githyanki before. Do you hail from this area, or from another plane?"
Tolroc is genuinely curious and will talk at length about your Leon's, Zak's, or anyone else's history, but does have sense enough to not to pry or to leave people be if they seem reluctant to talk.
"My people are from the Astral Plane." Leon says with a smile. "Some of us come here to keep an eye out for mind flayer schemes or to hunt for lost relics of my people." He glances towards the tavern. "Wasn't everyone going to talk with other locals?" He asks a bit confused. "You material plane folk can be very confusing at times, why say you will do something, then not do it?" He marches back to the tavern with them and pokes his head inside. "We about left without you." He tells the two still seated at the table they had been at before. "If you are done we can leave now..." His voice is a bit more clipped than before, but still soft and confident, maybe just a bit disappointed.
Trystan leaves with the group, sharing what he learned from Felos: "It sounds like there might be more work for us if we decide to stay around for longer. Monster hunting. And it looks like the brigade at the village jail is looking to establish a commandment at the citadel once we clear it."
Zak says to Leon "Seems some of them stayed awhile longer at the tavern. Oh look, here they come now!" Zak makes a mental note to try not to get the Gith upset.
To Trystan "Lots of work then to keep us busy! Monster hunting sounds fun..." and he pets his huge greatsword which is strapped to his back.
Zak will then proceed to leave with the group and head to the Citadel. I assume we know how to get there? Zak would likely be in the front, he's excited and walking quite fast.

You can see Zac and Tolric in the general store.

To Leon "Oh I think the others are still in the Inn... let's stop there first then yeah next stop, Citadel!"
Zak's excited to start the adventure and find some of those magic apples and see about the goblin issues.
He wants to please the folks in the town so he can settle here and start a new, happy life.
He says " Well lads, I will leave you to it. Hope you all have a safe journey."
OOC: Trust and Mac, since you left the bar last give me a constitution saving throw please :)

Sweet, you can handle yourself just fine. Are you walking out or waiting for the group?
DoT?

OOC: Dot wouldn't drink, she has no need to but I'll roll just in case it's from something other than booze lol.

Dot hurrying to catch up will clap her hands when she's close "I've never been on an adventure before."
