As Whitegaze strikes at the mirror itself, his vorpal blade rings against its surface, sending more cracks across it. the last four symbols on it break apart, and darkness swells within the mirror.
Whitegaze, standing next to the mirror, sees that whatever is inside the mirror is now only moments from breaking free, the prison, the mirror which he just attacked, now unable to contain it with the damage Whitegaze has just done against the mirror itself.
Assuming the Fire elemental managed to safely position himself near the mirror (as it did in the previous round to burn the mirror shadow with his Fire Form) it attacks the tentacle, grappling Merric:
It Tolls For Thee [Init 20] Each round, a wave of extraplanar terror radiates from the crack in the mirror. Characters within sight of the mirror must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw [DC 21] or be come Frightened of the mirror until their next turn.
Al-Ashari is still not affected by this, and I am not sure if anyone is not frightened yet, but please make a save if you are not.
Goat's turn. (assuming still running away, but let me know.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Goat..
Keeps running.
Grasp Of That Which Waits. [Init 15] Shadowy tendrils burst forth from the mirror and lash out at any character within 120 feet of the mirror.
To hit against Al-Ashari: 15 To hit against Whitegaze: 25 To hit against Kale: 24 To hit against Mericc: 27 To hit against Spider: 16 To hit against Goat: 31 To hit against Fire Elemental: 30
It did not really work - the tentacles kept coming, no matter how many they destroyed. Al-Ashari did not even understand why they were fighting and what they were fighting. The thing behind the mirror did not show itself - yet! - and sorceress was quite sure she does not want to see how it looks. That city in her vision - was it the past? The future? Was it at all? Whatever it was, she, personally Wished that this city and it's monsters never existed - not now, not ever!
As Al-Ashari casts her spell the world seems to pause. The being in the mirror, as well as the spider's million-upon-million eyes, all seem to focus on her for that endless moment.
Then the mirror shatters. A vortex of mirror shards collect around the Fetching Mirror, and the group of you then find yourself carried up in a circling well of power. Below you you see...
The city is destroyed in a matter of moments. Black ooze floods the streets, gushing up through the storm drains and destroying the streets in mere minutes. The upper city is drowned in choking goo, which then destroys the walls. Anything touched by the goo is annihilated. The Heart of the City is freed, and horror is free to touch other worlds, consuming and destroying as it does so. There are many worlds out there - perhaps it will never be seen again by man or beasts. Perhaps it will.
Blackness invades your being and you see nothing more...
Some time later, ages maybe it seems, you wake again, and find yourself back in your bed. Was it all a dream?
This ends the module.
