Debolsia nods. She was never comfortable just attacking people even if they seemed hostile, but this situation left her little choice. She was going to have to be careful out here. The threats were much more dangerous than she'd encountered in her previous travels. "Is everyone okay?,"she asks with a bit of worry.
Ok bees. The goblins are as you said- poorly equipped and half starved, but all the more dangerous for it. Between the three dead goblins and the one unconscious dragged back by Amshoon, you find 4 gold and 7 silver. In addition, one of the goblins is carrying a fine steel dagger with a bone handle, which you assume was taken from some poor soul ambushed on the trail.
Irena smiled at Debolsia and answered "Not a scratch." Brushing her hands against her trousers she said to the others "A little coin, a nice dagger but no written orders or such. Chances are these little guys got into banditry by themselves and they aren't anyone's tax collectors."
Debolsia moves to the goblin and does her best to not seem intimidating. They had to have a reason for attacking the expedition and it was in her training to want to learn more of what caused this goblin to act this way.
"Hello. Are you okay,"she asks in as friendly of a tone as she can.
“We will make it a slow one if you don’t tell us what is going on here...”. He holds his sword out to the Goblin, “Or answer our questions and we can offer you healing and some water and rations.”
Debolsia looks to the others. "These types of tribes are fairly common. They take what they can to survive. We could post warnings along the road, but they'd most likely tear them down so they can continue their plunders. I think we can keep moving but the next group of travelers may not be as lucky as we have been." She thinks for a few moments. "I don't think we should interfere with their society if we can avoid it. It could just cause further anguish between their tribe and nearby cities. We would also be clearly outnumbered if we tried to storm the place by force."
The goblin nods in recognition. “Yes, Rockseeker. King Grol want rockseeker special. Want... “ he pauses for a moment, trying to find the right word. “Land picture”.
Irena sighed. "Well, either way, we're probably going to have to rescue him. So, what about Grast here? Turn him loose now or after he's lead us to the camp?"

Vines nodded and helped gather up the goblins with Irena and then look about the area to keep watch while they searched the bodies.

The burn scarred goblin will blink slowly and see you all gathered around. He sees his comrades laid out and sags defeatedly, as if resigned to death.

"Well, for starters, why did you attack us? Is your tribe or village nearby?"
He gives a kind of half-shrug.
“Take coin. People go on road, we kill. Take tribute for King Grol. We have camp for warband.” He jerks his head in the direction you were headed.

Amshoon stops at that last. “A dwarf?” He turns to Debolsia. “What if they got Mr Rockseeker?”

Vinras raises an eyebrow, “He wants a map? A map of what in particular?”
The goblin shrugs. “Not say. Maybe treasure.”
