At this time the Adult Blue Dragon dips below the clouds and makes a pass through the courtyard. A breath of lightning shoots out of its maw at the keep's parapets, and several armored guards topple over the walls to the ground.
The lone robed figure sees Lyria heal Kod, and takes a swipe at her. Attack: 11 Damage: 6 ...but the attack is blocked.
Between Lyria's radiant blast and Potato's scimitar, the robed one dies. (Sorry Hordkhen, skipped you but enough damage was done to kill him before his turn regardless.)
There's about 100' between the lot of you and the Keep. You're near the SE corner, and Linan says the gate is on the West side. 16 / 3
As you round the SW corner of the keep and run toward the gate, you notice the entire West side of town from the hill the keep sits upon. It's in no better shape than the East side, but from this vantage point, you notice that the majority of robed figures and kobolds are systematically moving from the outskirts inward, potentially converging on the keep. Most fires are still not burning houses, but haystacks and barns. That looks to change soon, though, as the groups that aren't moving toward the keep are attempting to set them ablaze.
Determined to get the townsfolk to safer ground you press toward the gate. You see a group of 8 robed figures turn from around the North corner. They stop for just a second when they see you, then charge ahead in your direction. It looks like you'll clash right near the front gate.
"Bahhh... !" Tar Hordkhen slaps the shield with his blade and charges into the middle of them to engage multiples and hold their advance- crashing between the line and striking at the center formation.
Plåcĕ looks up to the sky and focuses as the soot from all the fires continues to fall it starts to shimmer in the light a violet shimmer as it begins to cling to all the robed figures like fresh snow Faerie Fire dex save of 13 20ft cube so it should cover all of them
Place' gets seven of the eight humanoids in his offset angled Faerie Fire. DEX Saves: 11 / 4 / 11 / 8 / 18 / 8 / 16 Only two of them are quick enough to dodge the clinging sparkly ash that would light up their locations and make them easier to hit. (Very cool spell flavor, btw.) Changing the R's to numbers that will be colored based on Faerie Fire for ease of identification:
My goto is to charge into a group and word of radiance. If I can't, get close enough, ready attack for after their turns, if any are in range at that point. 5

Hordkhen moves in and stands protectively in their ranks but can't land a hit on them.
Kod follows, anger rising, and sinks his axe into one of the shiny ones, who goes limp.
Lyria can get as far as between #5 and 8 and uses her radiant blast. 3 / 14 #8 takes 5 damage.
Potato's original target is dead, so he goes after the one to the left of Hordkhen. He cuts his leg pretty bad.

Place' hucks a rock at 6 and finishes what Potato started. The rock brings him down with a crack to the skull. The second one misses. (#8 isn't affected by Faerie Fire) beans #1 for 4 damage.
Delirious hits #2 but doesn't kill it. (Gave you back your inspiration because the whole back row has faerie fire on them, and if you already rolled don't change it to advantage, just add another roll at the end of your post so you don't mess it up.)
