Falshen and Ian, engaging in some desultory information-gathering, discover nothing regarding the purported bronze dragon beyond what Falshen had already heard.
After some mostly fruitless efforts, Ian and the gang decide to head over to Deepwater Harbor to have a look-see. Apparently there’s a dragon afoot (awing? apaddle?) and we’re going to see what we can perceive and go from there.
Deepwater Harbor is divided between the Naval Harbor and the Great Harbor, and can be accessed from anywhere in the Dock Ward, including the neighborhood of Mistshore, where you met Grinda Garloth, dealer in rumors and curios.
Where will you begin your investigations, and how do you approach the search?
Dusk falls over Mistshore, and the party once more find themselves at the door of Grinda Garloth's peculiar emporium. She answers the door swiftly, and smiles benignly.
"Well well, if it isn't my intrepid little band of researchers into local history. And how goes the hunt, eh? Turn up any little baubles for sale or trade?"
Ian, considering his pack and it’s relative emptiness says with wide gesticulations and in great alacrity “Alas! We are foiled by a conundrum in our efforts to secure said baubles. We made good on our last quest, with some minor complications... (Ian’s face grimaces in recollection of the mausoleum and the melting evil creature)…, but now we find ourselves at an impasse of sorts.”
He pauses for effect and assumes a countenance of exaggerated concentration. Then as if a light bulb has exploded in brilliance over his head he says with a huge smile,
“But perhaps you, Grinda, our lovely purveyor fine goods, could help us! We seek information on the location of a dragon. A dragon that has been sighted in or near the harbor that we hope to secure more information on its whereabouts. We also kindly ask to see what new goods you may have obtained since the last time we visited. For while baubles may be scarce our coin is at the ready.”
At the conclusion of his speech, Ian puts his hands together as if praying and plasters his face with hope and sincerity.
"Aha! A rare and wondrous talisman, for sure, and one well suited to a daring life of peril and woe. Worth not less than a thousand dragons, but for you my dear chick, I could let it go for eight hundred."
The kobold blinks at the cost of the amulet. Forced to confront the limits of his own coin pouch, he backtracks slightly. "Did Akai say bauble? Akai meant papers! Yes, much power hidden in words etched on them, Akai senses. High value, to be sure!"
Falshen clears his throat, "Unfortunately, my dear madam, these items are beyond my own meager means at present. But perhaps you might have some - ah - less unique - though still worthy, to be sure - items for sale? Rare trinkets or components, perchance? The scale of a dragon, for example."
"My usual clientele come to me for particularly hard-to-find items. I am a dealer in rare artifacts, not a grocer. The cloak, perhaps, might be more...suited to your means. And I can find specific items on request, for which I will provide an estimated price.
"As for...a dragon scale, you say? That depends, that depends a great deal. On color, and size, and age, and rarity...what did you have in mind?"

Ian posits that the group visit Grinda to ply her wares and ask after rumors of this dragon.
Falshen seconds Ian's suggestion.
Irma nods in agreement
Ian and the troop decide to visit Grinda Garloth. They will keep wits about them and keep an eye out for tails, muggers, and/or general hooligans.

"Oh ho? Seeking dragons, spending dragons, round and round hmmm? Come in, come in. Make yourselves at home. What'll it be?"

The Amulet of Health catches Akai's eye. "Kkurroo!" He chirps. "Pretty little bauble there, strong magic Akai feels! How much for Akai to claim?"
