Reynnar's arrow sinks true into the middle of the animated armor, leaving a large scrap down the plate. Parts of the armor are now glinted.
Caspia rushes forward towards Ned, and attacks with her scimitar and shortsword drawn. Ned, having assumed a defensive position is ready for the attack.

Angus takes a moment to try to gather his inner Ki and assume a defensive position, but is unable to do so because he put all of his effort into the attack. The monk then shouts to the group, "What do you want me to do? Try to hold this armor here or take someone out?"
I was going to have Angus use Patient Defense, but forgot Unarmed Strike also uses the bonus action.

Ned similarly realizes his chances of escape are fleeting, assumes a retreating position and attempts to head towards the back door, blade drawn and ready to cut down anyone in his way.
Ned avoids Caspia's attack of opportunity because he took disengage as a cunning action.

Angus has recovered from the beating he received just in time to avoid Ned's shortsword. Ned is now looking visibly panicked and uses the remainder of his movement to throw open the door to the storeroom and run over next to the window.

Caspia's blows cut deep into the animated armor, the armor is starting to look heavily damaged.
Caspia's damage was modified to only a total of 15. Offhand attacks don't get the attribute bonus.
Angus follows the triton's lead and also attacks the animated armor.

Angus, sensing that the battle could be ended here, uses two luck points to reroll his to hit dice.

Despite the monk's best efforts to focus his attacks and end the battle, his sword thrust and blows flail widely. The monk's eyes go wide as he realizes that he has once again left himself upon to the armor's attacks. The armor ambles forward for a strike.

The second blow slams into into Angus, sending him onto the floor unconscious.
Hearing the cry from Angus, Gulin rushes to the other side of Caspia (diagonal from the armor, to the square just SE of Caspia's current location). He slings one of his handaxes at the animated armor, pulling another from his belt.

He shouts in the direction of the back door,"Eh, Reynnar! I took care of Ned, need your help here!"
The blow catches the animated armor by surprise. It crumbles to the ground for a moment before regaining its composure and preparing for yet another attack. The armor is shattered so badly you are surprised that it able to still function.
And with Gulin's blow the armor falls silent to the ground. Ned continues to sleep a room over, while Angus brushes the blood off of his shirt. "Well that was interesting, everyone but me seemed to come out of that unscathed. What next? I think we have a few rooms still down here to be explored, and then there is Ned. Maybe we should take care of him before he wakes up."
You watch as the monk draws his shortsword and begins cleaning it. He has a strange look on his face.
As the armor collapses, Gulin quickly gathers up his dropped and thrown handaxes and points to the storeroom. "Reynnar, hope you're good with a rope lad. Lets tie up ol' Ned and have a word, shall we? Careful not to wake him!" He looks to Angus, a toothy grin between his mustache and beard. "Took a rough hit, lad. Glad you're still with us! Perhaps Caspia can patch you up a bit."
"Sounds good, how about you come with me, just in case he wakes up. Angus, Caspia, might be helpful to know that those other bottles over there are health potions."
Reynnar moves over to tie Ned up nice and tight, and uses some of his climbing pitons to suspend him from the ceiling.
"Alright, you know Ned better, I'll let you guys start the interrogation."
Caspia finds herself with Angus in a wine cellar. The windows in this room are reinforced with steel bars. The center of the room is filled with casks, while two wine racks are against the back wall. In the southwest corner of the room, lying battered on the floor is the remains of the animated armor. The room is very dreary, you can tell that the location of the windows protects most of the rooms contents from the rising and setting sun. The floor is cracked and marked with age, yet cool to the touch.
Angus motions to Caspia, "Reynnar pointed out these two health potions on the wine rack to me earlier. Haven't noticed anything else of note in this room other than the armor, but then again I didn't really case this room very well. I'm sure there are valuables in some of these other rooms too. Haven't stolen anything yet, but don't think I'm letting us leave here empty handed!"
Gulin and Reynnar move over into the room where Ned passed out. The room is filled with crates. A window along the eastern wall looks out onto a dark street with no traffic. The window itself is not reinforced. The room has a deep smell reminiscent of spices.
As Ned is tied and trussed up by Gulin and Reynnar, his eyes come awake, and begin to take in the situation. He looks over towards the dwarf and speaks with no trace of his usual stammer, "Since we have had a wonderful past few days together I will show you a bit of courtesy and tell you this once. You are messing with forces above your pay grade, let me go and things will be easier for you."

Ned looks back towards the dwarf, shaking the fog out of his head, "Nice try there."
