Soveliss was caught by the dwarf during the attempt, but instead of killing or turning him in, he allowed the young halfelf to give the item to the guild in exchange for his life. In return, Soveliss owes Gundren not only a life debt, but a substantial amount of gold for the lost item as well. He has been doing odd jobs for the dwarf ever since, ranging from simple message deliveries or driving carts to or from various clients.
