Though he spots the goblin with the pierced nose, another goblin surprises Kharnyl, its arrow finding a small gap in his armor, piercing his neck at the clavicle, sending the cleric tumbling to the ground.

Aldreric dropped the leather map case, as he dodged the goblin’s crude blade. He returned the favor by striking the creature with his own sword. “Decrepit abomination, you won’t live long enough to regret your actions.”

A Goblin pops up from the shrubbery and lets loose an arrow in Flutter's general direction. It whizzes towards him as he shields his face. There's a thud, but he feels no pain. Confused, Flutter looks around, then peeks down off the edge of the cart. Kharnyl! He has fallen, the arrow was meant for him!

Flutter hops down off the edge of the cart and tries to stabilize his friend.

Seeing the priest go down and a arrow pierce his body, Rou will go in a rage. Rushing towards the first goblin in range of his great axe!

Aldreric’s strike was unsuccessful, though his luck ran out when he attempted to dodge another and was struck, deep. The goblin’s blade ripped through Aldreric’s flesh and searing pain courses through his body.

Even with the likelihood of shock and loss of blood, rage took over Aldreric and became the only thing fueling his movements forward. ”I’m going to piss on your grave, you little bastard.”

Flutter, you're up!

Flutter patches up Kharnyl enough to stop the bleeding, but just as he looks up to see where the attack came from, a second vile arrow whooshes by, sticking into the worn wood of the wagon. Standing to his feet, Flutter conjures another mote of flame in his hand and lobs it back in the Eye-patched Goblin's direction as it cackles in the distance.

The flame streaks through the air and plops onto the eye-patched goblins chest (G4), engulfing it in ember waves more than the flickering missile implied. There a rough, frantic screams as it makes futile attempts to douse the flame before keeling over, but there is a moment before it stops entirely...

One goblin had managed to slice through Alderic's armor and caused him to bleed, and even through the blood loss, he kept fighting.  Unfortunately, another lucky strike from these little bastards, was enough the finish the job. And as Aldreric fell to the ground, a further one even felt the need to shoot the dying man with an arrow, barely missing him, though the man was already out of it, and not even aware that it occurred.  He was in desperate need of a healer, and likely a tailor as well.

Time feels as if it has slown down; the trees sway gently above, Rou swings his massive weapon kicking up debris, a slow cackling laugh slips from a Goblin’s mouth as another fires an arrow deftly into Alderic. Things are not looking so good for the group at the moment, but Flutter just dealt with his immediate threat and hasn’t been noticed it seemed. It feels like every breathe he takes is a sigh at this point, a sigh of exhaustion. He lifts his claw up once again, a flickering mote of flame appears and he launches it towards the Goblin engaged in melee combat with his ally, Rou.
