"Are you two OK?" Leshanna asks, moving back to check on her companions. She winces a bit as she walks, the skimming blow of the boulder having bruised her a bit.
Ah, I see. I wasn't too clear about what I said. That was the total roll for her damage, and after which I said "(Half the damage rolled)". I mean't half the 50, which would be 25. I should have been more clear, my fault.
Edit: You posted before I could lol. (I'll half the damage next time to avoid confusion :))
(The funny thing was I didn't read the other damage amounts, just hers, so i was assuming the others were getting hit by around 100 HP, since 50 was halfed... I was like wow, that did it, we are done for.)
Aeson drags himself to his feet, using his warhammer to pull himself up. "Not fast enough." He says to himself. It reminded him of the punishment he received training at the temple.
As Aeson picks his shield from the ground, he stashes his warhammer and extends his right hand towards the other while reciting a prayer.
Raishan stays on the ground breathing as shallowly as she possibly can, then mutters out, "Ow, OK, that really hurt, I think we need to hire ourselves a rogue so this does not happen again." Once the healing magic washes over herself. "Thank you, I appreciate that. I should be good to go for a bit longer before we need to take a rest."
"Yes, thank you." Leshanna says, shrugging a little as the healing eases the worst of her aches. "I am sorry, I did not see the trigger plate before I stepped upon it."
"I am not blaming you, Leshanna, I did not see any trap either and could have easily been the one to set it off. I have a suggestion though, in the future I can use a my Mage Hand Spell to open things and we can be a distance away so we do not get hurt." Raishan says sympathetically.
"That will work, when there is something to open." Leshanna agrees. "This trap was in the middle of the hall though it seems, with nothing a mage hand could have aided with." She shrugs. "We will just have to be as careful as we can of traps as we continue onward." Once everyone is ready to move on again, Leshanna will have Hoot take the lead again and move forward behind the owl.
(Sorry, I started posting yesterday but I got sidetracked.)
The dark hallway continues for another fifteen feet, and then opens up into a large room, a small beam of light pours in through a small hole in the South wall. Strangely, the smell of freshly burned incense meets your nose, coming from a large brazier in the center of the room. Six fancy blood red tapestries hand from the walls at intervals, two on the North wall, two on the South wall, and two on the East wall. Two doorways lead out of this room, a large door to the North, and a smaller door to the South.
Suddenly, a strange voice fills the air. “Humility proffered in the manner of Mystril shelters those opening the way to seeking knowledge.” (Religion check.)

Walking into the room, Leshanna does not know why people burn such smelly things in pots like that and glances to the others to see if they have any better idea of this place than she does.
You are reminded of a old goddess names Mystril, whose follower would use a special gesture when in her temple. It involves turning the head down, while raising the hands as if holding a lamp.

"Leshanna, stop a moment. The voice is asking for a particular gesture and I am not sure what will happen if we do not make the offer." At which point Raishan will approach the brazier with her head down and raising her hand as if holding a lamp.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Meanwhile in the previous room a halfling carefully enters the room (the one the group was in before they went through the dark hallway).
Taking caution and peeking ahead to see if anything is still in the room before entering.
When convinced it is clear he will move to the center of the room looking around at the ravage a large boulder has done. He make sures he steps between the bones scattered around near the boulder as he walks closer to see.
Thinking to himself Interesting, this is what i must of heard from outside. Quite the impact you had. The halfling pulls back his hood a bit to look around easier. The hood falls onto his back still attached to a cloth cape draped around the little man. He sees the dust is still settling around the room. A part of bone near him shows tints of red as he kneels to inspect it further.
It must be bloodhe thinks, using his finger to feel the substance, not removing his gloves ofcourse because that would be gross. He rubs the substance between his fingers and puts on a face to seem smart but has no idea how to figure out what creature belongs to it. Whatever creature triggered this got hurt but isnt in this room anymore.
His eyes gaze towards the hallway as it is clear the boulder came from that direction.
(perception 18, to see if Tarkin notices anything else in the room or other paths they could have taken)
If he sees any other possible paths he will keep them in mind but first enter the hallway to try if he can find whatever caused this.

"Maybe we all have to do it..." Leshanna says with a glance around. She makes the same gesture.
Seeing the others drop down, Aeson does so as well. As he does so, he tries to remember if this was ever brought up before in his previous training.
