Killian will close her eyes and reach out with her divine senses, to "know the location of any celestial, fiend, undead within 60 ft. that is not behind total cover."

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.

Thanks to some quick work, Aradurk is able to keep any of the creatures that fall through to the lower deck from wriggling their way to any of the mounts, but as they fall onto the ship and the creatures aboard it, they sink their way into everything; the sails, the wood of the deck, and even the skin of the party, though the feeling so far is painless.
Wes blows dozens of them off of the ship, but can't keep up with the sheer amount falling from the sky.
And then, only minutes after the 'rainfall' began, they are gone. There is no sign of clear damage to anything aboard the ship (or any of the people aboard it), and the sky brightens once more.
For Killian:
Your divine senses do not register the presence of anything.
“Well I’ve never seen an illusion that you could feel and eat before. Nothing like this for a group this size even. More similar to tinkering with new magic.... wild magic possibly. Petunia, what did it taste like?

“Hox, not to sound like your parent, but did you just put that in your mouth?”, Aradurk asks with a concerned look on his face. “That‘a how you get worms!”

The water remains dark, but with the sun hanging brightly in the sky once more, you have your bearings on Denorian's heading.
For Killian:
Strangely, you see no sign at all on your body where the creatures dug in, but you certainly felt them burrowing, even though it caused no pain. Nevertheless, you don't feel or see any ill effects from the event.
For Wes:
You feel that your theory on wild magic fits the erratic nature of what just occurred. You are also certain that this wasn't an illusion; illusions can't be felt, but you felt those worms burrowing, even though they left no sign of it behind.
”Petunia agrees, this seems to be some surge of wild magic. Origin unknown, could just be the location or something more dubious in the area. But I can’t quite see anything that would cause it I’m afraid.” We’d continues cleaning the maggots with gust and mending what’s needed. While keeping a particular eye out for anything unusual in the realm of arcane nature.
Petunia is having a field day and a battle with all those trying to clean as she is feasting on the mana from heaven.
OOC: The clouds did seem normal other than the pace with which they arrived, but are no longer there. The maggots have all burrowed or disappeared.
The rest of the afternoon is uneventful, and with the dark waters calm, you traverse a great distance through the day and into the evening, as Wes contemplates the potentially chaotic nature of magic in this area.
Almost on cue, the air shimmers briefly, like waves of heat rising from a cobbled street. Aradurk is the only one aboard Maverick that seems to be affected by this, releasing a grunt as it washes over him.
For Aradurk:
The feeling you experience from this shimmer is very similar to that which you felt after you emerged from Mordenkainen's timeless void, as if you have stepped through time and the feeling is now catching up to you.
Aradruk shakes his head, greatly unappreciative of this feeling washing over him. His slightly larger nostrils flare as he pulls in more air to help combat this wave of lethargy that he feels.
"Guys - I don't feel so good", he speaks lowly. "Wes - do you know anything about that weird feeling we got after we left the training space? Cause I am having it again in spades."
He proceeds to sit down on the deck.

Wes rushes over and begins to inspect Aradurk. Taking saliva samples and gazing into his eyes while muttering to himself. Petunia begins to run in circles and get back to her normal jittery ways.
“I wonder..... does anyone else feel different?!” He shouts.
Aradurk isn't showing any sign of physical ill effects or being affected by magic in any way. For all intents and purposes, it seems like he's just had a spell of dizziness, and it passes very quickly.
For Aradurk:
The wave passes after only a minute, and once it ends, you feel inexplicably stronger, as if your senses have been honed beyond the point you ever reached in the training room.
As the sun sets you catch your first sight of anything on the water since the obsidian towers. In the far distance rises what appears to be another tower, just a small sliver on the horizon at this point.

Land HO! shouts Ricky, altogether too comfortable in her role as a salty lass of the sea.
