After arriving, Ura leans on her knees, before straightening up. "You know, I have no idea what that fellow was up to. It's not like he could tell us either, since his tongue was cut out. He was chained, and missing his tongue, and chanting to keep the water at bay, and pretty miffed that we stopped him. That much was clear. But when I asked him to show us the shortest way out of the watery hole, he went east, presumably towards where Zelda and her cronies would be hiding, and still looked pretty angry at the rest of us. So, you know. Sounds like maybe you're both right. The only way to find out is to track him down and ask. In sign language."
She eyes the water. "Is that even still rising? We should leave while we can. We can't go back down anymore, not without suits and someone pumping for us." She spares a sympathetic look at Anaeris. "You know, I wanted to kill Zelda as much as you, meldo," she says to Anaeris. "But looks like she's still got a thing for you after all. We'd better find a way to find her before she fills her obsession with you."
While the rumbling continues, prompting Maas and Juppo to rush, they led the party back through the same route in which they originally entered.
As the party reached the mouth of the the cave entrance a strong gust of wind blasted against the otherwise soaked bodies of everyone there. The heat generated from the pumps and protection from the weather, made an entirely different atmosphere down below; but now they faced the freezing elements once again. At least the snow had stopped falling.
Maas and Juppo looked out at the snow covered beach head, "Down there longer than I thought," the halfling looked up to his human companion, as they stepped out. Neither were anywhere near dressed for the weather.
"Looks like we are in for a bit of a cold hike..." Austin grumbles as she looks out at the snow outside. "Think that boat is still there?" She asks, glancing to where the boat had been anchored when they had gone in before.
Current shivers as she remembers the freezing night they had last night. She was really hoping for a good sleep tonight, but it appears the gods didn't wish it. She looks longingly at the ocean before replying to Austin, "Boat? It may just be the cold messing with my brain, but I don't remember a boat..." She trails off as she looks at the others.

Stepping out of the cave, while although the snow had stopped, the sky was still gray with full cloud coverage. A dull daylight still existed around them, however without any signs of the sun, there was no way for the party members to tell what time it was exactly.
The cave opened towards the west, where a small shoreline and the north mouth of the Sirion River met the sea. Aside from that, only rocky mountainous outcrops shown around them. A single dirt path, just south of the cave led eastward. The party had taken this path, from the abandoned fishing village, and knew it to be the path back to Lindenfeld.
"We won't survive all the way back to town." Austin points out. "We need to find a place to set up a fire, where we can both warm up and dry off." She shivers as she feels the cold seeping into her soaked-through undergarmets.
Current shivers and nods in agreement. "I vote that we head back to the abandoned village. There should be a place to rest indoors where we can set up a fire and get some sleep."

Ura spends a bit of time prestidigitating her clothing dry, which helps only the least bit against the bite of the cold. "We certainly can't stay here. If you want to go back inside I can try to dry you all off before we attempt a hike, at the least."
Maas and Juppo stand there shivering in their thin clothing, while the party debates what to do. "If you wouldn't mind drying us out, then we'll probably get out of your hair and head back to town," Maas mentioned in response to Ura.
Nodding, Ura makes her fingers into guns and has great fun mouthing "Pew! Pew! Pew!"as she prestidigitates the clothing on Maas and Juppo dry. Afterwards, she blows off her fingers and grins at them. "You know, we probably wouldn't have made it out of the water without you two. Thanks for that. You think those suits are still around? They might be hard to move in, but with a little slicing and dicing, that leather could help keep us a little warmer while we walk."
Maas looked a little taken back by Ura's suggestion. "Well with the flooding, rumbling, and falling rocks, I think we'll take our chances with the cold. If you're really crazy enough to go back for it though, Juppo left in there near the pumps."
Appreciative for Ura's assistance, Maas nods, and turns to head back along the trail heading east. Juppo sticks around a few extra seconds, before running to catch up.
"Ah, no way, unless Current wants to get them, then,"Ura says. "Not worth all that trouble." She aims with her finger guns, and begins drying off the next brave and soggy soul attempting to travel through the cold, taking each party member one-by-one.
Current nods, "I don't mind retrieving them if someone else feels that it is imperative to have the suits. However, I am of the opinion that we should head to the town as soon as possible. We really need a place to get warm."

Leaving the cave, the party ventures back out into the cold and snow ladden ground, following the same direction as the human and halfling ahead of them. Reaching the path that cut through the rocky outcropping and headed back toward the abandon village, Maas and Juppo, only twenty or thirty feet ahead, stop when they reach the precipice.
Joining the two, at the top, to look down at the other side, the party is seeing the same that made them stop. The shipwreck of the Pequod still sits upon the icy shallows, looking as desolate as before. However, the abandoned fishing town beyond that is lively with activity.
Several large covered caravans are parked between the road and the town, with several fires going. At least a dozen figures, and twice as many horses, are either surrounding the campfires, or walking among the remnants of the village.
"Part of your crew?" Austin asks the human and halfling as she sees the activity. "Do we dare go down there, without knowing if they are friend or foe first?" She shivers though and silently wonders if they will survive out here if they do not go in.

Not feeling must reassured by Ura’s words, Anearis gives a final look at the water before following everyone out of the cavern.
"Thank you for trying, Ura…"
