A successful hit from Uthal’s hammer, stops the zombie1’s forward movements for a second, but continues moving towards you, attempting to engage as well.
Much like the previous two in the other hallway, dispatching of these ones will likely be just as much of a nuisance.
An onslaught of attack erupt from the party. Almost as they were so pissed off with the tediousness of the previous combat with a similar set of enemies, that they decided to just lay into the new ones as quickly as possible. While still continuing towards Uthal, Z1 was struck down by Ander's sword swiping its legs, while Anearis quickly pummeled it for good measure, as it fell to the ground, the second stuck possibly landing once the creature had already died.

The zombie's face smashes flat to the ground, with a sickening crack of the skull. If it were a living creature, there would likely have been a pool of blood forming around it. However, it is not, and there is not. Instead, there is a robed zombie figure, who slowly rises from the floor, and lashes out at the closest target to him, being the last to strike him, Anearis.
Attack 14 Damage 7
((Anearis, the only one benefiting from not having their equipment here))

The group looks like it‘s doing fairly well against the zombie... until the thing gets back up again. Cursing a little inside his head, Atal takes aim and fires, hoping to keep it down.

He's going to retreat back to the cover of the stairwell, keeping the creatures in sight, as the others fight those things.
After a failed attack against Anearis, Z1 falls backward when struck by Atal’s arrow. However, while on the ground once more, the creature is still moving.

Uthal brings the hammer down on the prone Zombie 1. Smashing and pulverizing it further into the ground. It’s body is covered still in the robe and hood, but one can imagine the odd directions and concave surfaces of the creature’s bones due purely to the blows, this party has provided.
The first zombie remains on the ground, but is not motionless, the cracks of its joints are audible as it continues to move, potentially preparing to rise once again.
The blow to the creatures neck slices into the flesh, the force of which, like many attacks before, force it back to the ground. But the creature has not given over to death. At least not yet.
The rage built from pure annoyance came to a boiling point and Anearis stomped the back of the creature’s neck, feeling a sudden and unexpected give, when placing his weight on his foot. The back of the robed hood began to grow damp and soaked in some unknown liquid of bodily juices as the creatures spine and skull were crushed by Anearis.
"I'd say that was cathartic, but it's really more than a bit disgusting, too,"Atal comments as he nocks an arrow and aims it at the remaining zombie. "Maybe we need to aim for the head. Or the neck, to sever it from the head." He lets the arrow fly.

An arrow shoots past the three party members, who had been beating the now completely lifeless corpse of zombie 1, to a pulp. It hits its target of zombie 2, causing almost no visible effect, short of an arrow now sticking out of the creature’s chest.
It continues its slow moving attacks on Uthal. Attack 14 Damage 4
For a dead man, the zombie packs quite a wallop, dealing a bit of damage to Uthal’s ribs. There’s the potential of something cracked or broken.
Uthal was so focused on spitting blood on the zombie’s emotionless face that he failed to put any type of dexterous effort behind hitting the thing with his weapon. Swinging the hammer down, he completely missed the zombie’s head, and the rest of him for that matter, simply bringing it down in empty space. Fortunately, none of his compatriots happened to be standing there at the time.
Ander’s sword, however, once again cleaves in the fabric and the spoiled flesh of one of these creatures, hacking deep into the neck, right above it’s collar bone.
The creature buckled under the force of the blow, but still remained standing as Ander withdrew the sword.
Uthal lets out a deep sigh and moves forward to engage with the two new zombies. He swings down with his hammer on the first walker.
