"Where would you like us to put the coffin, priest?" asks Errol, setting down the coffin where instructed. He pauses to take in the disrepair of the building. Moving to the room where the scream came from, he focuses, trying to understand where the sound came from. If he sees nothing in the room, he will look for loose boards, rock, wisps of smoke, etc., that might suggest an unnatural presence nearby.

„There is an undead pressence below us and this church is not much more then a normal house when it comes to celestial protection. What is going on here?“
Errol you see nothing except several closed doors that look to lead into personal rooms and such. At the mention of undead the old man shakes his head. "Do not think on that. Unfortunately without the faith of the people my church has fallen... My prayers unanswered... " He said before the screams came again.
"Father let me out! I need to eat... I'm starving!"

Errol:
Errol quickly looks at the priest, attempting to intuit his reaction to the cry below..."Is the creature below your son, priest? Or perhaps a wayward member of your flock? My companion detects an undead presence there. Perhaps allowing the corruption of undead within these walls has sapped the power from your prayers."

"Ismark, I am with Nadariel on this one. This priest is harboring an undead creature within the walls of this church and it is no longer holy ground. His prayers go unanswered by his own admission. And he seems unwilling to address the problem. I would not bury your father here for fear that he would rise in undeath like the poor creature below us," remarks Errol.
Rounding on the priest, Errol continues, "And what manner of priest are you, who gives no name and allows the stench of undeath to pervade these walls? What manner of god do you worship who allows such things? Have you been corrupted by the very evil your church is here to defy?"

"No my father will not be raised if Father Donavich is able to bless the ceremony. It is the best we have and he has been looking over this town for as long as I can remember." Ismark says with a sigh as he looks to the haggard priest.
The priest now named Donavich gives Errol a half hearted glare before he sighs and seems to sink as if he had a ton of weight on his shoulders. "Let us go and have the funeral. There will be no more talk of undead or my son."
Meeting Donavich’s gaze evenly, Errol unintentionally makes a modern reference, shrugging and saying saying over his shoulder to Ismark, “It’s your funeral.”
You can hear pity in Nadariels voice when he whispers to Errol : „ I don‘t think he is corrupted, i could still feel his holly connection. I think like a shield in a war, his spirit got broken by the onsloughter of evil he had to bear. And i think that undead below us has something to do with it.“
As the man moves out of the church the yelling from below continues, making Donavich flinch each time it happens. With each yell he mutters a quick prayer.
Belmarm watched it all quietly from any conveniently close and relatively untouched pew. Each time the boy yowled, though calm on the surface, the Shadar-Kai could feel an itch at his fingertips. One that, if not to destroy, then he would at least collect something of Donnavich. Which is why people had made their move to leave, he fell in line behind the procession by a good ten or more, pretending to go, only to eventually head back inside and begin searching the place for any interesting trinket -- a broken holy symbol, a censer missing something, maybe a candlestick that looked well worn -- anything of Don's that could fit easily fit inside his pack.
But eventually, Belmarm comes out with a pep to his step.

As Belmarm searches he finds that the side rooms are locked but look worn enough that with a bit of force they may break open. Most of what else he finds are the broken remains of the pews and a worn and tarnished symbol of Donavich's god that still seems to faintly glow regardless.
Outside Donavich moves to lead the rest of the group out to the cemetery in the back, muttering a bit with Ismark and Ireena about mundane things. The entire time he looks to be on edge and the slight madness in his eyes never dwindles. Even then the yelling can be heard although greatly muffled.
Errol watches carefully, uncomfortable coming into a cemetery and ready for the dead to rise and attack them. He looks at the grave markers as they pass and keeps an eye out for freshly turned earth.

In spite of temptations, and though he did looked at it fondly, the Shadar-Kai thought better of things, and choose to take one of the smaller bits of broken pew with him. While not the significant items Belmarm would've preferred, it would suffice for his purposes. Once back outside with the others, he keeps by at least a good five feet and observed the proceedings with an air of mild skepticism about him.

Most of the graves appear to be old with the newest one seeming to be dug several weeks or perhaps months ago.
