Vor will investigate the adit carefully for signs of recent critters, two-legged or other wise.
Investigation 10
He will light a candle and explore the place, very carefully, sword in hand just in case.
What sort of odors can he smell? Dry dust? Stinky, wet fur? Burnt things?
The cave is damp and smells of bat guano. As you are carefully looking around, you slip on a rock that wasn't as stable as it looks. You fall backwards and hit the cave wall loosening a boulder that falls and pins your legs to the floor.
"I'm sure she has moved on," the innkeeper says. "This is a small town. If she was here, I would hear about it. I've set up your cots by the fire. You may retire anytime you like."
"Fair enough. Thank you so much for your hospitality and the information." Hallanann hands her a silver piece as a tip. Turning to the rest of the group, he says, "With that, I think I'm going to move towards the cots and start getting ready for some rest. In the morning, we can continue on our way through Chikra's Pass."
How big is the boulder? Vor's legs are pinned how, lower legs, upper legs? Both equally under the rock?
"Ahh! That feels good! M' Lady's Hairy Knees!" Vor curses softly at his predicament.
Are there any loose rocks handily near by? If so, Vor will try to get a couple and start to work. He will take one of his pitons, lay it on top of a stone and jam it under the one pinning his legs as close to his leg as possible, and as near what he judges as the balance point of the rock. He'll pound in the piton with his hammer, lifting the rock a little bit (hopefully); then jam the second, little bit larger stone, also with a piton on top, next to the first one and pound in that piton (hopefully lifting the rock a little bit more). As he tries to lever the rock upward, every once in a while he'll scrape around underneath along his legs trying to gouge out any loose material. He will keep at this, wedging larger and larger stones underneath, if he can get any, until it frees him or until it is obviously a wasted effort.

“Ha ha ha, that’s a good one, Hallanann! I actually like that name. Well, we should probably get some rest, as we need to save our energy for the morning when we go into Chikra’s Pass,” Krusk tells the group. “I’m going to bed now.”
Lia frowns at the cots around the fire. She is clearly not happy about the less-than-satisfactory sleeping arrangements. With a sigh she moves to the one closest to the fire, and settles down to sleep.
Newa amused by the group and listening to them joke with each other waits till everyone picks a cot then takes the last one. She knows she won't get much sleep. She is never very comfortable inside and is much more at home camping out on the road. Still she settles in for the night and tries to get some rest, but will be sleeping with 1 eye open keeping tabs on anything going on around them.
"People might get jealous," Chikra says, with overexaggerated concern. To the innkeeper she says "If anyone does find sign of her, before we leave tomorrow, please do let us know. If it is the woman we're following, she's dangerous and folk should steer clear."
When she retires to her cot for the night, she arranges her blankets in a manner that might now be becoming familiar to those who have been traveling with her for a couple days -- nest-like, with her gear arrayed like a defensive barrier, her weapons still close to hand.

The party sleeping at the inn gets a good nights sleep (long rest and short rest to adjust spells and such if you like) In the morning you head out to Chikra's pass. The road from Chandler's Folly, if you can call it that, starts out wide enough for a wagon, but quickly becomes overgrown as you make your way through the mountain pass. The trail that it now is, used to be a mining road, but the mine has long since been abandoned. When you reach the cave, you find that a man (Vor) has been pinned under a bolder near the entrance.

Hallanann isn't the strongest guy in the world, but he's going to rush over to the man, and attempt to start lifting the boulder off of him.
Strength: 4
Grunting from the effort of attempting to get this boulder off of this man, Hallanann addresses him between heavy breaths, "Sir..." heavy breath, "are you injured, at all?" Another heavy breath. "How did you find yourself..." two heavy breaths, "under this rock?"
"Krusk," Hallannan turns his head slightly in Krusk's direction, "you might be better at this than I am. Could I get an assist, please?"
"On second thought,"he says, but he never finishes his sentence. He stops trying to move the boulder and he focuses on the dirt under the man's leg. Then, he casts Prestidigitation to move the dirt under the man's leg in such a way so as to make sure the boulder stays put, but he can slip his leg out from under the boulder.

Lia keeps her eyes on the lookout as the man under the boulder is rescued. She is mildly concerned this could be some sort of trick or trap, but is not really believing it to be the case. Her heavy crossbow would be in hand though, as she looks for any dangers around them.
Vor looks up at the folks entering the cave, "Well it seems you have me at a disadvantage, you aren't cannibals I hope. If you are, my name is Vor and I hope you choke." He grips his short sword a bit more tightly, "I'll do my best to give you a bad case of indigestion."
