Once the caravan is unpacked, and while everyone else is making purchases, Robwin looks over to the two boys playing and says “Would you like to see a trick?”
If they seem keen he will make a small show of speaking nonsense gobbledegook and making grand, fake-magical gestures... Finally he performs the proper gesture and makes a quick double-click in his cheek (as if calling a horse or a dog) and uses find familiar to make a small owl appear on his raised forearm. It gives a little flutter and a series of cheerful hoots to the boys.
Tahnis smiles at Elmar while taking note of the various items in the ship. As he hears the shopkeeper speak, he bows. "It's nice to meet you. I would like to buy some arrows from you."

I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Vimak carries two or three creates at a time into the warehouse.
Eventually, he lays on his back with his arms extended, the backs of his hands in the dirt. He asks one boy to stand on his left palm and the other to stand on his right. Then, he carefully stands up, holding each child in each hand, his arms parallel to the ground. He turns around once slowly, then squats until his hands are low enough the kids can step off them to the earth.
OOC: The whetstone has been added and its price has been deducted.
Prosper takes the time to quietly memorize all the places Barthen pointed out as good places for what they sought as potential future places to visit. She pipes up when Tahnis mentions the arrows, adding. "I could do with some spare daggers, too."
While the others are shopping, Robwin watches the Goliath lift the two boys in awe... “I’m just so very glad you’re with us, Vimak...!”...
He then takes this calm moment with his owl, making a huge fuss of her, letting her nudge against his face and ruffling her feathers “I’m glad you’re here too, Lia. My beautiful girl” then much more seriously, “Go now, quickly: hunt, eat, straight back... I need you in the sky. Keep watch. If you see danger YOU RUN! You hear me? You come straight back. Don’t be a hero! Go!!”
OOC: If possible/allowable Robwin sends his familiar up to circle within telepathic contact range (100 feet) and keep watch for ‘any danger’, and to alert me and return if she spots anything.
(I would just like to let everyone know that the boys are in their late teens so this just makes everything hilarious haha. For Vimak, I'm going to say they hang off your arms rather than stand on your palms.)
Barthen shakes his head at Tahnis and Prosper. "If you're looking for weaponry, you'll need to head to the Lionshield's Coster. I just sell general goods here."
At Robwin's summoning of his familiar, the two boys look impressed and give him a small clap. However, when Vimak starts helping them with the supplies, they're even more impressed by his great strength. "Dude! Holy shit!! Look at how many he can carry at once!!!! THAT'S INSANE!" Despite their older age, they're more than willing to grab onto his arms, continuing to exclaim their awe as he lifts them off the ground. "DUDE!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!!"
Lia gives Robwin a small hoot, nuzzling his face, before flying off up into the air to keep an eye out for danger.
Adas had been standing back from the group, content to wander with them as they collected the last bit of equipment they needed. He was fairly self reliant when it came to traveling himself but if people needed extra he could not blame them.
Following the others towards Lionshield's, Vimak considers his weapons and his budget. He touches his hand axes, his battle ax, his shield. He shrugs, satisfied. Once they arrive, he will look around, but will most likely sit with his whetstone, watchful, but sharpening his blades.
Prosper is similarly impressed by Robwin's summoning of his familiar as the boys are, clapping in admiration along with the boys, and delivering similarly warm applause for Vimak for his feat of strength. "Right."She says, "Let's head to Lionshield's then. Thank you for pointing us in the right direction, Barthen!"
Barthen waves goodbye to you all as you make your way to the Lionshield Coster. The building is all the way to the south of town. Hanging above the front door of this modest trading post is a sign shaped like a wooden shield with a blue lion painted on it.
Entering the building, you see one side of the building is filled with weapons whilst the other side covered in armor. Behind the counter stands a human woman, looking to be in her mid thirties.
A little bell rings as you enter, calling her attention. "Good afternoon. How may I help you?"
Prosper grins at the woman as she enters, waving a cheerful hello. "Hey there ma'am! Passing through, and heard you sell fine weapons and armor. Me and my friends here would like to pick up some arrows and two daggers."As she is saying this, she is taking time to admire the displays of armor out of the corner of her eye.
"Of course. The daggers are 2 gold each for a total of 4 gold. How many arrows will you be needing? It'll be 1 gold for a quiver of 20 arrows." As she speaks, she moves from behind the counter and heads to the weapons side of the room, taking two daggers down from display before walking back to the counter. She notices Prosper looking at the armor and smiles softly. "Are you interested in a set of armor as well?"
Robwin sits in the sun next to Vimak while he’s sharpening his axes and says “Let me know when we’re heading off. I’m just going to, um... ‘rest my eyes’ for a second...”.
He then closes his eyes and uses find familiar to see through Lia’s eyes for a moment. While staying within range (100 feet) he flies a high, wide, radius around the group and around the town: just looking for anything of interest in the vicinity that might stand out, or warrant further investigation.
OOC: Lia the owl has perception +3, and advantage on perception checks, if needed.
"Sounds good, Robwin," Vimak says. He glances at the clouds as he sharpens his axes. What would it look like, he wonders, a dragon dropping from the sky? The whetstone scrapes quietly as he uses it. Hopefully the dragon is young. A baby. Vimak turns his ax on his lap and sharpens the other side. He inhales the clean air, almost as clean smelling as the mountain top. The sun is warm on his skin. He hopes he is up to the challenge.
Once his blades are sharp and even if he only has a moment, Vimak will make sure there is room around him. He'll sling his shield onto his arm, hold his ax, and practice with it. He worked in the Neverwinter town guard until he ran out of challenges there, and he still uses the drills they taught him. He sharpened his blades. Now he carefully tries to sharpen his skills.
"Very well, then. Thank you for your patronage." The woman takes the gold piece from Tahnis and turns to Prosper, waiting for her response.
The sky is clear, the sun bright and the air fresh as Vimak sharpens his axe. A few children watch from afar, giggling and whispering to each other. When he starts to practice swinging, however, their jaws drop in awe. A couple of adults, most likely their parents, rush towards them and pull them back before they get too close. They whine and protest but begrudgingly follow behind.
Lia flies high above the group, allowing Robwin to survey the surrounding land. For the most part, everything seems peaceful but out of the corner of your eye, you spot movement and so Lia turns to the south west to give you a better view. At first, you think its just a very small bird flying by but you quickly begin to realise that, that isn't a small bird... it's an incredibly large flying creature miles and miles away. You watch as the large creature swoops down and disappears into the trees before appearing again a few seconds later with something in it's grasp. It begins to fly towards the east, heading towards the Sword Mountains, before disappearing once more, becoming nothing more but a tiny dot in the clear, blue sky.
Prosper jerks her full attention back to the woman as she queries her, and waves her hands hastily. "Oh, I don't think I can afford anything yet, but they're very well made. You said four gold? Here you go."She fishes out four gold coins from her pouch and leaves them on the counter as she takes the daggers from the woman. "Thank you so much!"She chirps as she exits the shop.
[assuming she can see Robwin's state?]
Once she walks out she notices Robwin's apparent distress, immediately striking her concern. "Are you alright?" She asks, worried, leaning next to him.

To the team: “ok if everyone is finished up here, let’s head to Lionshield’s Coster”.
To Lia the Owl: “Stay sharp... I think we’re done here, and heading to the weapons-monger. Stay with us. Eyes peeled”.

“no, no, no, NO!” Robwin snaps back to himself, arms and legs scuffing at the ground, pushing himself back up against the shop...
”big, it’s ..... I saw it.... It... it’s ”
Lia returns to comfort Robwin.
In his panic, he is desperately trying to remember details before it’s lost in the haze of thoughts: colour, size, prey, anything...
