Try as he might, Lok can't seem to find any additional inspiration from his study of the riddle: May you never leave this place! Not until One dies, Two cries, Three lies, Four buys and Five flies.
The bartender is distracted with the conversation and flood, and doesn't see Throm slip in to the kitchen. The first thing Throm notices is a body unconscious on the kitchen floor. He turns the body over and sees the face of ... Willagee the bartender !!
(sorry, just moved and haven't had internet for a while)
Lia chuckles softly at Mike. "Not very quiet at all. The name's Lia Dewtail, amateur librarian and far more amateur adventurer." She shakes his hand. She is then distracted by Willagee's odd behaviour.
She overhears the conversation with Wolf, and mumbles to herself "Well, I'm certainly glad I checked out." She springs up when Willagee shatters the glass, about to offer Willagee a hand to clean it up, until suddenly he is unconscious. She runs around to that side of the bar, searching for any clues as to how he got there.
Clarification: As far as Lia or everyone else knows, Willagee the bartender is conscious and standing behind the bar, although acting unusually as Lia has observed. Throm has passed the bartender at the bar, entered the kitchen, and seen a DIFFERENT figure unconscious on the floor that appears to be Willagee the bartender, but this second figure is not visible from the bar. I have edited post #162 to make this clearer (I hope).

Throm, at first thinks this would be Dory and that maybe he didn’t make it to the tub in time. But why would he have assumed the appearance of Willagee before collapsing? Throm gives him a sniff, expecting the necrotic stench, and then tries to ascertain the nature of the unconsciousness.
Medicine: 11 Arcana: 7
He does not attempt to revive the fallen one or call out until he figures this out. Perhaps the “Willagee” he passed at the bar is the doppelgänger.
Lia does offer to help clean up the glass, before raising an eyebrow at the bartender. "Say, Willagee... You wouldn't happen to have seen where Mr Dory went? I'd guess he's blending in with the crowd using magic." Despite the smell, she leans in close.
(I'll use Lia's Investigation check in this situation). Lia leans in close, but despite the smell and the unusual mannerisms it certainly appears to be Willagee in every respect. No I didn't, replies the bartender to Lia's question, And I told you to forget about him.
Throm makes a quick but thorough check of Willagee, and is confident that no wounds or other physical damage is the cause of his state, nor is there any foul odour to suggest this is Dory in disguise. It's possible that his unconsciousness could be a result of a magic spell, but Throm can't detect any evidence of this or any other spell.

Throm places the body in a repose that he presumes will be comfortable when/if Willagee revives. He even quickly finds a mostly empty grain sack and gently places it under Willagee’s head as a makeshift pillow. Now to re-enter the main room without raising suspicion. His intention is to find the familiar faces of those who had been in Dory’s room and individually or in small groups “retire” to the hallway, out of sight of the bar, and inform them of the deception of Mr. Dory. But first he must not be seen exiting the kitchen. He listens at the door, waits for an increase in volume of noise and cracks the door to see if “Willagee” is facing the other direction. Then he makes his move ...

Delmon asks Throm what was back there. When/If Throm tells him he says "So that man at the bar is probably Mr. Dory. That's why he's acting weird." Delmon start asking around the adventures who can cast a flight spell. Investigation 6

Wolf knows something is weird with the bartender, which he doesn’t know the name of. Wolf has been here regularly, and overhearing the bartender knows that he isn’t acting as he usually is.
Overhearing (aka eavesdropping) Lia talking to the bartender, Wolf does insight and investigation on the bartender.
Lia leans back sheepishly. "Are you alright sir? Pardon my saying so, but you seem a little out of sorts." She takes a sip of her water. "Though I suppose we're all a little tense at the moment."
Well, this certainly isn't like the bartender who had earlier served drinks back when Hatch was getting sloshed, and it seemed unusual that now all of a sudden Willagee would start cracking under the stress of the situation.
"Alrighty, let's drink then to forget our misery. Why don't you make me another of those drinks I had earlier, you know the ones that knocked me off my ass," Hatch asked, seeing if this suspicious character could remember what he got drunk off of.
(Lets say when Hatch got started the real Willagee asked, "What'll it be, ale or mead?" and Hatch being new to drink said both, so Willagee poured half and half in a mug and served it - Mr. Dory wouldn't know this.)
Throm slips quietly back out of the kitchen, unseen by the bartender or most of the patrons at the bar. Passing quickly through the sodden common room, he gathers as many of his acquaintances as he can find that aren't already at the bar. The first to join is Delmon, having just been to check on Kardinya who he found mopping the excess water off the floor of their room. Throm quickly fills Delmon in on his findings.
Meanwhile Lok joins the others at the bar, and finds Lia and Hatch pressing the nervous-looking bartender, who is pouring Hatch a drink. Wolf watches the conversation, but despite the mannerisms and odour, this looks to him for all the world like the same half-elf that served him earlier. The bartender serves Hatch a drink that is clearly nothing like the one he had earlier, and stares at him with wide, shifty eyes.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Lok leaves Mr Dory's room, instead deciding to walk back to his room, room #4.
The barbarian turns and shuts the door, locking it behind him.
Walking over to the small desk in the corner of his room, Lok sits down and grabs some paper and some ink from his pack, left open on the desk.
The barbarian takes the time to write down the riddle on the paper, as best as he could remember it anyway.
Lok spends the moment studying it for any clues that he might of missed, while in the safety of his room.
Try as he might, Lok can't seem to find any additional inspiration from his study of the riddle: May you never leave this place! Not until One dies, Two cries, Three lies, Four buys and Five flies.

"I hate riddles" he mutters under his breath.
crunching the paper into a ball, the barbarian throws the notes across the room in frustration.
"Too much thinking, I need a drink."
Lok leaves his room and heads to the bar in hopes of a tall glass of ale to clear his head.

"Hey Hatch!" he greets with a smile 'You getting thirsty again too?"
"Gimme an Ale." Lok says before looking over, then noticing how nervous and shifty the bartender looks.
"Whats wrong with Willagee? Too many of his own drinks?" the barbarian asks, giving a questioning glance over to Hatch and Lia.
Lia shrugs nonchalantly at Lok, but has a troubled expression on her face. She looks back down at her glass.

Mike after having way too many drinks, stumbles over to a corner of the room, lies down, and decides to take a nap.
Delmon takes out a vial of acid and get ready to throw it at Mr. Dory/Willagee (the person currently being the bartender).
