The half-drow draws two daggers, holding them in a reverse grip that's clearly more showy than substance. "And opportunity just keeps on knocking!" He slashes twice with his daggers, intending to destroy both of the creatures on Rayner.

Dagger - Attack: 20 Damage: 7 piercing damage.

Offhand Dagger - Attack: 19 Damage: 2 piercing damage. If the first attack kills the first creature, Mal'thrae gets sneak attack on the second swing, adding 6 piercing damage.

Your first dagger hits the creature snacking on Rayner square in the chest. It screeches feebly, then falls to the floor, twitching slightly but clearly dead. The second one dances around just out of reach of your second dagger.

Durnan steps forward with his greatsword, and with amazing speed swings 4 times in quick succession at the midsection of the troll:

Two of his swings hit, and hit hard. Huge gashes open up on the troll, and two more creatures drop to the floor dead. The final two screech in indignation and detach from the troll.

The troll looks at Durnan with murder in its eyes, and its wounds seem to close slightly. It lurches at Durnan in rage:

Attack: 26 Damage: 9

Attack: 21 Damage: 8

Attack: 15 Damage: 7

The troll sinks its teeth into Durnan's arm, and its claws rake his chest. He seems to barely notice it, however.

Urukar, then Valen.

Urukar rises from his chair, and grabs his greataxe leaning against the table.  "I would have come here sooner if I knew you kept trolls to fight, dwarf."

Urukar charges the troll, raising his greataxe high above his head.  He brings it down with a roar, going clean through a light fitting in the ceiling on its way towards the beast.

 The fixture clatters to the floor, which, while your swing connects, made it more of a glancing blow. It hurts it nonetheless.

Valen?

Valen grabs his glaive from it's place again, moving directly to face off with the troll as well.  He slashes at it once with the sword-like blade, then turns and slams the iron-capped end into the beast's face.

To hit: 8

Damage: 14

Bonus attack with opposite end of glaive...

To hit: 9

Damage: 6

Valen hits the troll twice, who is now bleeding profusely. Top of the round:

Rayner, Auric, Mal'thrae

Rayner took a big hit from the bat like monster, but still in the game.

He sees Valen going strong against the troll, and decides to help vanquish the foe.

Glaive up and a strong swing, he slashes the troll from 10 ft and also uses the back of the glaive to smack him. Rayner takes a back step after this and taunts the troll:

"Hey you, big fat monster! Want a piece of me?"

OOC: If he comes 10ft of Rayner he will use is reaction to attack with the glaive.

Action-Glaive Meele Attack - Attack: 21 Damage: 7

The first attack drives straight into the troll's side, and it falls to the ground. The second attack swings where he was, hitting nothing.

Quick, douse it! Durnan screams.

Auric:

OOC:  Pretty sure that makes it Auric’s turn.

Auric nods quickly at Durnan and moves over towards the downed troll.  With a deep breath he looks down at the squirming creature and exhales mightily, shooting a stream of fire from his mouth onto the creature with a strange, whistling roar!

 Brass Dragonbreath on the Troll:  8 Fire Damage

Durnan gives Auric an appraising look, then leaps after the remaining fliers:

In a flash, he cuts down 3 of the other creatures, and the rest fly back into the pit.

He motions to the staff to clean up the mess, then turns to the party. Nice work. Foolhardy charging a troll down, but the next ones on me.

Rayner: “Well seems we did got some adventures today, eh lads? Time to celebrate meanwhile!”

He goes back to the table to finally enjoy the ale. 

He seems reinvigorated after drinking the ale.

OOC: Rayner uses Second Wind -  5

Short rest after this and regain Second Wind.

"Damn right. Good stuff, team." Mal'thrae says as he returns to the table.

Valen stalks back to the table, seeming not overly caring about the fact they just fought a troll.  He glances towards the door, pausing there a moment again, before taking his seat once more, his glaive, which he took time to clean the troll blood off of, again within easy reach.  He lifts his ale and takes a drink, as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened in the last few minutes.

Auric:

Auric smiles at their victory, a wide, toothy grin, and heads back to his table.  “I think that bat took a pint of fluid from me when it attacked,” he says, “and I think it is time to replace it!”  Lifting up his ale, he joins the others in a toast.

Short rest to recharge breath weapon and spend a HD:  11

Urukar grunts dismissively at the remark about charging down a troll, as he peers down the pit into the darkness below.  "There are more down there, dwarf?"

A man in bright clothes and a large feathered cap walks up and pats Urukar's shoulder. "Many more, I would think. But, if you would indulge me, I have a proposition for you and your compatriots."
