The sound of a creature crossing the stream catches everyone ears. Then you hear another and then another ... after a minute you have counted a dozen crossing the stream.
These creatures are not tall or even big because they needed to cross the small stream but still they are quite a lot.
Blanche starts to whimper.

Though Blanche is crying softly she is praying in truth. And a name keeps coming back in her prayers, Misha the goddess of renewal, fertility and life. That goddess was one of the first to disappear when the Dark One purged the clergy.

Leshanna insight: 11
Leshanna frowns as she catches the words in the whimpering. She decides not to make anything of it as of yet, preparing to deal with the creatures approaching them.
Asha plans to ask Blanche later about the one she calls on, but for not, he questions what he should do with the littles crossing the stream. "I don't know what they are, but they seem to mean us no harm... so far"
When Bitter Ashes asks the halfling about his name the latter hangs his head a bit and says "it's Roscoe, Roscoe Wildheart." "It's nice to meet you all." He continues to look uneasy in revealing much about himself. "I'd like to help, it's just..." He falls silent as they hear sounds outside.
At the news that the potential hunters went west Roscoe chimes in, saying "double back on our own trail briefly, and then anywhere but west I guess?" "Anywhere near here worth heading towards? Any help around?" He looks to the elf he helped heal back in the wagon.
This stream outside of the cave, how does it flow? N to S; E to W?
"Best we look t' that village t' th' north," Bitter Ashes says. "Seem'd t' be abandoned, but maybe we kin find things useful there. Then we cood plan t' see aboot th't village in th' woods, I'd say approach it from th' east durin' daylight. I no be wantin' t' wander them woods inna dark, thet be fer sure." He looks at his companions. "We needs a place t' hole up an' do a bit'o plannin'."

Ith looks at the halfling, " Roscoe is it, " he seems to ponder something for a second. " I don't know the area well but North and then East we should fall on a larger forest. Some of my people will be in there. If I can contact them I can hide us ... for a time."
Blanche takes a hold of Asha's arm and grips it fairly strongly. " These creatures outside, they are hunting for food and they are not ... good."
"Well we can't stay here either." Leshanna points out, overhearing the comment about the creature's outside. "They are bound to be on our trail by now, and are far worse than what was outside here a moment ago." By they she is clearly meaning those from the prison wagon.
"Let's tak' t' th' stream 'n 'ead north. Investigate that aband'n vil t' th' north," Bitter Ashes urges. "Th' stream'll 'elp 'ide ur scent if we stays innit."

((Mordyn would probably be best as second or second-to-last in line. He has pretty bad perception anyways; I have +2 proficiency but no wisdom mod. I’ll roll just to see what I get.))

The creatures are not approaching you have surmised that they are out, hunting, they have passed you by for now. A'd they seem to have gone west.
"Where do you guys think we should go from here?" Leshanna asks as the threat seems to have passed.
((Is anyone familiar with the area at all?))

As the group moves out of the cave (tell me if you are doing anything before leaving or taking precautions to leave) and into the falling night.
Once more the clouds are rolling high over you but the moon is completly hidden.
Of the creatures there are a few traces.
You all head North following the stream toward the abandonned village.
Bitter Ashes will look the place over one more time, just to be sure he did not miss anything.

Asharael would take up the rear of the party, making sure they were not being followed. Perception 5
