"W—What? We can't burn this c-cottage down, that's far too crude and ineffective, and an insult to whoever made this structure in the first place-" Akome replies with a deep concern in his tone, removing his hand from the hilt of his sheathed greatsword, instead using his main-hand to perform a light incantation that his Tengu father had taught him of before his father had retreated back to the mountains to continue his duty; his Hengeyokai mother aiding him in controlling his innate magic and channeling it effectively to not come as a waste. He casts Minor Illusion as the spell takes form of an audible scream, almost manipulating the sound of Akome's voice but now in a higher pitch and tone. It yells: "You must leave the cottage! There is no time for you to waste idling as my companions are going to forcefully burn the building until you leave!" Oddly enough, the scream seems to only be heard within a specific range that does not reach the "traitors", yet it is feasible to be heard from the inside of the cottage. The illusory sound continues to emit the sound, although altering the contents of the words to not be heard as repetitive; it continues to plead without fail.
All the while this continues, Akome faces toward Basho with acquiescence in mind of his expression, not realizing the intent of his to aid his party in fishing out the unseen archer that had previously attacked them. His clean traveler's clothing that reaches to his pants underneath the worn robust armor encapsulating green, yellow, and crimson shades among its color in a variety of designs, but seemingly modest in appearance to not make his appeal look flashy or attractive to the eyes at first, ripples from the magic he taps into, his pure-white wolf tail with the white and auburn-tipped hair and wolf ears bearing semblance to necessary reluctance in his bright crimson eyes.
Persuasion: roll value - 23 (For the effect of listening to the voice against the unseen attacker presumably in the cottage.)
There were fast-paced footsteps that could be heard inside of the structure, it almost sounded like the archer had started to run from his/her position.
Salgim, hearing the rushed footsteps from his position behind the cottage, pulls a shortsword from his back in each hand, and stands ready for anything.

Bam!
The backdoor came slamming open, almost making the hinges come off of the doorframe.
A horned-figure of a woman suddenly came into view, with a expensive-looking longbow and a cloak over her head, she quickly attempts to dash out of the scene.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Takayano Akome
Akome loses his focus on the illusionary spell causing it to dissipate as both Basho and Akome audibly hear a door forced open from the backdoor, of which he responds in tthe moment, "Salgim might be in danger if he was still around the backdoor, we need to head over there and help him!" he exclaims as he dashes forward with his own greatsword ready to be wielded on hand for the worst case scenario, although in acquiescence as his actions might lead to him killing whoever rushed themselves out of the cottage in sheer reaction of something he doesn't clearly pick up on.
Salgim having been standing at the back door waiting with shortswords in hand, will attempt to tackle the woman as she comes sprinting out of the back door!
If he’s in sight, and in range, Basho will use Gust to try and disrupt her escape (Str 13 ST)
If he’s not close enough for Gust, he’ll use Ray of Frost, mostly to slow her down. (Attack: 21 Damage: 5 and slowed by 10 this round)
You successfully cast your spell which resulted in a strong gust of wind blowing the horned-female's cloak off of her head showing a face of an Oni that resembles a Succubus.

"What is the meaning of this? You must tell Salgim!" Salgim says as he tries to hold the woman down until his friends arrive.
"Get off of me this instant, you brute! What do you think your doing to a member of a noble household?!" The woman said in response to your action, she was clearly not pleased by the way you just attacked her.
"Right. I don't think I want to have to use my crafted blade for this anyway; I'll be right back!" Akome strides away, swiftly on his feet as he begins to pace back along to the soldiers and the Viscountess, presumed to still be near the barricade, perhaps having all that is settled, but he still settles his hand on the comfortable grip of his hilt for him, still in acquiescence for how he is going to use it at all, but he nonetheless continues forward. Going out of the brush of the trees and foliage, his hair and perhaps his ears may have gone through some twigs or branches, but he does swipe any of, even if none are present, even grooming his own hair with his off-hand only before having properly returned. All the while, he would have been nearly shouting at the top of his lungs if not slightly average, "Viscountess Haru! Viscountess!" his voice has the lack of subtlety, and by the end of it, he reaches back with his voice now hoarse from the screaming, but he was able to clear it while cleaning himself briefly, "V-viscountess! I hope I didn't shout too loudly or out of line, but I think we apprehended the person who attempted to lay death on one of the scouts! Come with me, quickly, and stay alert anyway since there might be more of them, and I think she might have been wearing pretty intricate wear for someone that's supposed to be guarding a barricade." he waits for a reply from the Viscountess, but seems eager to return due to having little patience of waiting now, his body and mind obviously quite jittery, as if he is indeed happy or atleast joyful that he is able to do a task rather than slump around and work with his own tools or whichever at his disposal he seems keen on a liking to.

"Wait a moment... Intricate clothing, you say?"
[The Viscountess who was holding a tea cup that had some newly prepared tea in it, was quick to put down her drink. She suddenly remembers that there was someone that had worn that same kind type.]
"Don't tell me she's at it again..."
[She puts a hand on her temple, looking like she knows what was happening before calling one of the nearby guards.]
And you hear her ask the guard: "they didn't send any letters regarding HER starting to do mischief again, did you?"
[The said guard who was you know of as the messenger of the party was quick to remember every single letter that was sent to their temporary camp.]
"No, Viscountess. We have not recieved anything of the sort."
"All right, I'll go check out that "person."
[The viscountess quickly got out of the carriage, looking like a pissed off older sister after a younger sibling pulled a prank.]
"Salgim is no brute!" He responds with a touch of indignation in his voice.
Carefully he will get off of the woman, while still holding tight to one of her wrists.
"If this is true, and it is as you say," he continues, while dusting himself off with his free hand, "then Salgim is very sorry madam. Salgim only saw a cloaked figure attempting to make off into the woods."

Basho quickly uses Ray of Frost to quickly quench the fire, then heads towards the sounds of the running archer.
Salgim, hearing the rushed footsteps from his position behind the cottage, pulls a shortsword from his back in each hand, and stands ready for anything.
The fire was quickly extinguished, producing a lot of steam as a result.
It acted like some sort of smoke bomb inside of the interior of the strucure.

Basho arrives, hand glowing with a cold blue light as he prepares Ray of Frost in case the archer escapes.
From her prone position he takes a closer look.

[You notice that her clothing underneath the cloak was the type of clothing that a average commoner would wear, it was just too fancy and well made.
As you get even closer you also notice that she was clearly not dressed like an assassin (if you counted out the cloak that she had put on herself.)]

Basho looks over towards Akome. 'Perhaps you'd fetch the Viscountess. I suspect she might recognise our prisoner...?'
