“I’m not much of a map man, but I can tell you we’re off the main roads quite far. We’ve been following the trail of our stolen goods down these roads and paths quite some time. The hope is that we might find the goods in this… lodge, or whatever it is.” Alhorn gestures vaguely and huffs.

"We're currently located fairly high up in the Greypeak Mountains. We should probably head into that cabin over there and see what we can find in it." Shei is going to make her way over to the front door and try the handle to see if it's unlocked. If it's locked she'll try and force it open by backing up a bit and ramming into it with her shoulder. If that doesn't work, she'll call out to the group. "This door's being a bit stubborn, don't suppose one of you knows how to pick locks or can smash it open?"

Naroth will start to answer Shei and then wince as she slams her shoulder into it, "Not that this fight would not have drawn attention from the cabin, we still might want to be somewhat silent in our approach." As he walks over to help her, "Then again."

As he approaches he stumbles up the stairs and just lies there mumbling/cursing to himself about some type of Dice God you might not have ever heard about.

Germain moves over to Alhorn and offers to help patch him up. Afterwards, he'll move around to the back of the building to watch for anyone sneaking out when the others go in.
Ok, Looks like Shei, Fletch, Germain, and Ulric are all going around back. That leaves only Naroth and Alhorn for the front. Just so you can get an idea of size, this place is not a small cottage in the woods. It is a very large building, with two stories, and about a dozen large rooms per level. Around back likely means a good 50+ feet away from the front group. Just want to make that clear.
Naroth, Shei, and Alhorn, moving up to the door you push it open and move inside. Inside you find... Just inside the front door is a chamber with pegs and benches for cloaks and boots. A set of rusty spears rests in one corner, held in the claw of a small drake statue. The wall to your right has a couple arrow slits in it. You pause as you notice them, but nothing happens, no arrows come slashing towards you and no one calls out in alarm or greeting. Ahead of you is a closed double door, that has hunting scenes detailed across them.
Kitchen Door
Germain, Fletch, and Ulric all move around to the back of the lodge. You get a closer look at the two outbuildings, as well as the well and stack of firewood. Not close enough to tell much more about them though. Moving to the back door you find it closed.
Everyone
So no enemies have shown themselves yet. The front-door crew are inside the cloak room, while the back-door group is standing outside the door to what is likely a kitchen. What is everyone doing?
Ulric whispers to his companions, "I don't hear any sounds of combat or alarm, but this is a sizable building. We should move in quickly and quietly. I'll open the door."
As Ulric opens the door, which is unlocked, you find... This spacious kitchen is a hive of activity. A large stove against one wall contains a roaring fire with a bubbling stew pot and shanks of venison suspended above it. Strings of onions and herbs crisscross the ceiling like webs above cluttered tables. Preparing meals are four humans: two men and two women. All are within arm’s reach of boiling water, cleavers, and knives, and their stares make it quite clear they don’t like company. You spot 2 doors on the left-hand wall as you look in from the back door, another across the room from you, on the far wall, and a fourth door on the right-hand wall.
Shei is going to wander around the room, trying to see if there's any hidden doors or anything else like that located in the entryway.
Investigation: 3
Shei you find nothing like what you are looking for. The design on the drake holding the rusted spears keeps drawing your attention though, so it is pretty obvious you are not doing a very good job of searching.
